Media: Ukrainian frigate "Getman Sagaydachny" went over to the side of Russia

On the morning of March 2, Ukrainian media reported that the crew of the flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, Getman Sagaidachny, refused to comply with the orders of the new authorities in Kiev and announced that it was going to Russia. After joint military exercises with NATO in the Gulf of Aden on the ship, the St. Andrew's flag was allegedly raised. Later it turned out that the information was not confirmed.
Previously, there was conflicting information about the actions of the crew of the flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, but according to the information of the English-language website RT, the frigate went over to the Russian side.
“The Ukrainian flagship“ Getman Sagaydachny ”has switched to our side today. Andrew's flag was raised on the ship, ”said Senator Igor Morozov.
A Russian politician noted that the ship is currently heading for the Black Sea after naval exercises in the Mediterranean. “The crew of the ship carried out the order of President Yanukovych,” the senator added.
