Army M. Gaddafi prepares landing in Sicily

The Libyan government army intends in the very near future to turn the tide of hostilities. For this, the supporters of M. Gaddafi intend to eliminate the threat of military raids by the coalition aviation and capture NATO bases on the Italian island of Sicily.

According to Western media, the government army, which has recently shown the ability to change tactics depending on the current situation, intends to use the experience of the Allies during World War II, which in 1943 managed to cross from North Africa to Italy.

Since NATO provided a similar option and attacked the Libyan military boats, the invasion of Sicily will be disguised as a stream of refugees. First, Lampedusa Island will be captured, where the number of Libyans already exceeds the local population several times, and the operation is scheduled for the evening of April 1. From there, it is not far to Sicily and the Sigonello base, from which airplanes of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance fly.

It is assumed that if the operation is successful, the Libyan army will be able to unite with the Italian opposition and move to Rome in order to overthrow the government of Silvio Berlusconi, and subsequently to Paris, where many French are dissatisfied with the policy of President Nicolas Sarkozy. According to unconfirmed information, in France the interim transitional government is ready to be headed by Jean-Marie Le Pen.

At the same time, the question of the possibility of granting political asylum by S. Berlusconi is not being discussed in Russian foreign policy circles.

According to some information, in this case the UN Security Council may consider the issue of creating an unmanned zone over the European Union.
