The number of Ukrainian Navy is more than 14 500 people.

The Navy of Ukraine today is not in the most attractive form. However, in recent years, the situation does not look as catastrophic as, say, 5 or 10 years ago.

What, then, in such a situation allows us to talk about positive trends? The same objective facts. The number of all kinds of exercises, mostly international, in which the Navy has taken part in recent years, is a record one and surpasses the figures for all other combat arms. Only from 1994 to 2013, the Ukrainian Navy was involved in more than 2000 international military cooperation events.

Every year the number of hours of flight of the crews of naval aviation and the build-up of Ukrainian warships is steadily increasing. Hundreds of Ukrainian naval specialists are trained and undergo training abroad.

The warships and boats that are part of the Naval Forces of Ukraine practically all were obtained when the Black Sea Fleet divided. Most of them are over 25 years old. The most "running" are: the frigate "Getman Sagaidachny", the corvettes "Lutsk" and "Ternopil", as well as the large landing ship "Konstantin Olshansky.

The strike force of the Ukrainian Navy currently has, in its composition, the Pridneprovye missile corvette and the Priluki missile boat.

Following the results of 2013, a large number of ships of the Ukrainian Navy were repaired. More than ten were commissioned.

In order to update the ship crews, a program for creating ships of the "corvette" class was launched, at the Black Sea Shipbuilding Plant (CSY) before 2021, it is planned to build an 4 ship of the "corvette" class.

In 2011, the solemn ceremony of laying the main ship was carried out. According to the results of the Program, 4 of the 58250 project ship will be built, 5 ammunition kits will be purchased, which include small and medium caliber guided artillery, anti-submarine and anti-ship torpedoes, missiles for the attack and anti-aircraft missiles. Created ship-based system (built two berths).

The first ship of the class "Corvette" plan to be commissioned before the 2017 year

Corsets 58250 project - a promising type of corvettes of the naval forces of Ukraine (Naval Forces of Ukraine), developed by the Experimental Design Center for Shipbuilding in the city of Nikolaev.
The displacement of the ship is more than 2,5 thousand tons, the length is about 110 m, the crew is about 110 people. The Corvette will be equipped with anti-ship missiles, guided anti-aircraft missiles, medium and small caliber artillery, anti-submarine weapons, a powerful complex of radio-electronic means, a deck-based helicopter with a hangar. Grade about 60% will be Ukrainian.

In accordance with the State target program “Arrangement and Reconstruction of the State Border” and the Concept of Development of the State Fire Service of Ukraine, to upgrade the naval boat structure of the Marine Guard to 2020, it is planned to build 6 ships “Coral”, 8 boats “Orlan”, 25 other boats of modern projects. In addition, from 2015 for the needs of the State Border Service of Ukraine it is planned to begin construction of a multifunctional ship with a displacement of about 1000 tons, on board of which the helicopter is based.

To replace the boats of the 1400 “Grif” project, small border boats of the 58130 “Orlan” project arrived in 2012, the first boat was transferred to the Sevastopol Marine Guard detachment.

Also in 2012, the first Coral sea guard ship was laid at the Feodosia Production Association “More”

It is planned that the Coral will weigh up to 310 tons and reach speeds up to 30 nodes (more than 55 km / h). It will be equipped with an automated control system and equipped with modern technical equipment. The number of crew "Coral" - to 20 people. This is two times less than on today's ships of the border guards of Ukraine, say the department. The construction of such a vessel will cost approximately 300 million hryvnia

The first two small armored artillery boats of the 2012 project ("Gyurza-M"), intended for the Ukrainian Navy, were also laid out in 58155 at the Zavod Leninskaya Kuznitsa Plant in Kiev. Boats are planned for use in solving problems in the Danube River basin and in the coastal zone of the Black and Azov Seas. Before 2017, it is planned to build nine boats of the Gyurza-M type for the Ukrainian Navy.

The 58155 project armored vehicle (“Gyurza-M”) was developed by the Ukrainian enterprise “State Research and Design Center for Shipbuilding” (Nikolaev) and is a further development of the 58150 (“Gyurza”) design boats, two units of which were built by “Leninskaya forge” in 2004 for Uzbekistan Border Guard Service with US funding (at 5,6 million). The boat of the 58155 project ("Gyurza-M") is larger than its prototype, and has a total displacement of 50,7 tons, a length of 23 meter, a width of 4,8 meter and a draft of 1 meter. The maximum speed "Gurzy-M" to 25 knots, cruising range of economic course 700 miles, autonomy for five days. The crew is only five people. The boat’s armament is made up of two remotely controlled naval combat modules BM-5.01 Katran-M produced by the state-owned enterprise Mykolayiv Mechanical Repair Plant, which is a variant of the BM-3 Combat module for armored vehicles. Each Katran-M module includes an 30-mm automatic gun ZTM1, 30-mm automatic grenade launcher and 7,62-mm CT machine gun, as well as two Barrier ATGMs with a laser guidance system. The boat is equipped with an optical-electronic fire control system and also has a set of portable air defense missile systems.

In 2013, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine terminated the contract with the Leninskaya Kuznitsa plant, the press service of the Ministry of Defense stated that the state commission did not satisfy the quality of the enterprise’s work. In addition, there were problems with the technical documentation on weapons.
The order for boats of the project 58155 will be placed at another enterprise

The fate of the unique anti-submarine ships of the Sokol project remains unclear
corvettes "Lviv" and "Lugansk".
The first ship is almost ready however, its production is now suspended due to lack of funding.

The Sokol project ship is the largest hydrofoil ship in the world. The length of the ship is 50 meters, and the width of 10 meters. The vessel due to the three gas turbines with a capacity of 10 thousands of horsepower and two 20 thousands - is able to reach speeds of more than 60 nodes.

The ship has the largest titanium alloy wing system on which the ship can sail at wave heights above 4 meters. Due to the high speed of the vessel in the shortest possible time it reaches the positions from which the submarine is hit with a high probability.
They are armed: AK-176 (76,2 mm) automatic artillery system, AK-630М automatic six-gun artillery system, two four-pipe torpedo installations with the 400 mm caliber, an automated artillery fire detection and control system, as well as two portable anti-aircraft weapons .

The ships have a degree of readiness of 95-98% and 30% respectively.

The majority of the ship's personnel are frigate, corvette (MPK), mine-sweeping and landing ships, which are capable of solving the tasks of controlling the economic zone, conducting defensive mine statements, including off the coast of the Crimea, and amphibious landing operations of a tactical scale.

In modern conditions, the development of the Ukrainian Navy focuses on the creation of powerful coastal troops, including in the Crimea, which does not require such significant financial costs as for the construction or purchase of modern warships.

They already have a civil war before building ships. Most likely they will lose the Crimea main base.

A friend from Ukraine said that the submarine has been fixed at the pier for several years since it’s not able to swim.

For the first time since 25.04.2012, the submarine was launched at sea for sea trials, and 1993 has returned to the pier of the ship repair plant. There were no dives in this exit.

12.06.2012 the second, one-day trip of the submarine "Zaporozhye" to the sea took place. During the stay of the submarine at sea, the operation of diesel engines, the operation of electric motors and the battery, as well as the operation of the GAS continued. There were no dives either. 04.07.2012/XNUMX/XNUMX the third, also one-day control exit to the sea was carried out.

Later in July of that year, the submarine took part in the rehearsals of the parade, and also participated in the naval parade (passing in front of the stands) in honor of the Fleet Day of the Russian Navy and the Ukrainian Navy, which took place on July 29.07.2012, XNUMX.

03.08.2012, the submarine "Zaporozhye", after a long break for the first time at the proving ground near Sevastopol, dived to the periscope depth (14 meters).

27.06.2013, at the end of the long-term repair, the submarine "Zaporozhye" was transferred to a new location - Streletskaya Bay (Sevastopol).

23 and 26.07.2013, the submarine carried out exits to participate in the rehearsal of the joint Day of the Russian Navy and the Ukrainian Navy.

28.07.2013, the submarine participated in the ceremonial passage of the ships at the joint celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy and the Ukrainian Navy.

08.08.2013, the submarine made a day trip to the sea. There were no dives in this exit.

I put the article "+"Although it is difficult to call it a full-fledged fleet, it is rather a modest flotilla. It is especially touching that missile boats are touchingly called" corvettes "in Ukraine. Although Georgia overpowered everyone in this matter, there similar boats were called" cruisers. "

the photo shows the island of Pervomaisky, or Maysky, or something else ... It is located between Ochakov and Kinburskaya Spit ... So, now there is no naval special forces there. There is desolation, because almost 10 years ago, the "fur seals" were relocated directly to Ochakov. There are rumors, which are also under 10 years old, that the island itself was either sold or rented out for a yacht club and casino. But new owners, or any work has not yet been carried out. Several Marines "live" on the island in a "guard" outfit. Here is an interesting reportage and good photos.http: //www.segodnya.ua/ukraine/Tainstvenniy-ostrov-u-beregov-CHernogo-morya

The commandos themselves, in the early 90s, almost in full force, were among the first to take the Ukrainian oath, and were the most weighty factor in the confrontation-dispute between the nascent Ukrainian Navy and personally Admiral Kasatonov. And the Commander of the Black Sea Fleet was the marines. Thank God, and the restraint of sailors, the confrontation was almost peaceful, and cost a few bruises and abrasions.

Is the training school for fighting dolphins part of the Navy or not? In the confined space of inland waters - these little animals are very effective.

Ukraine in 2012 resumed training of fighting dolphins, employees of the State Oceanarium in Sevastopol developed a new technique for fighting dolphins and began training ten mammals to fulfill the special tasks of the Ukrainian Navy.
The training program includes classes on the examination of sections of the sea where military objects of interest are located and to indicate their location with buoys.
Animals are also trained in a combat program of attacks on underwater saboteurs and ships.

In 2012, several trainings were held both in the oceanarium and beyond. The main task was to detect an object under water. Dolphins found an object and touched it with a device mounted on its head, after which a buoy was shot to the surface.

Dolphinho school was actually nullified in the late 80s.
Its heyday was in the 70s: each dolphin had his own instructor from former cool submarine athletes. The then Minister of Defense Marshal of the Soviet Union A.A. was very good at this school. Buckwheat.

Worse, in today's Ukraine, one of the best human schools of the Navy, the Sevastopol VVMIU (Holland), the best forge of engineers for the nuclear submarine fleet, was destroyed.
Well, the Kiev Marine Politician, and to hell with her.
As if "academy" - stubs of SVVMU them. P.S. Nakhimov ("suites").
The entire system of military education inherited by Ukraine - and this is more than half of all military schools of the USSR Armed Forces destroyed. But now there are no officers there, because there is no one to make a normal military coup and restore elementary order in the country.
The Secretary of Defense is there ... a former military financier.

    No prospects.

Yes, and the state is most likely not to be.
    Again did not take place.

But in terms of the number of admirals and caperangs per lifebuoy, it is first in the world.

    \ at some NATO dancers.
Therefore, the most necessary ship is the old submarine "Zaporozhye" - through which caprangs are stamped, the commanders of the standing old woman-diesel. And nra buying a battery. batteries for the Sormovskaya diesel engine in ... Greece stolen more than a whole squadron is worth.
By the way, in Austria-Hungary they did not call galychans to the fleet because of congenital dullness, cowardice and theft.
The patriots are terribly proud that the only Galychin in the Austro-Hungarian fleet rose to the ... general of the sanitary service. But after the collapse of that empire, he could not confirm medical knowledge.

The fate of the failed flagship of the Ukrainian fleet, the cruiser, renamed to "Ukraine", no longer needed by anyone and rotting in unfinished form at the factory wall - is very similar to the unfortunate lot of the country, which has played out into headless independence, not when the most prosperous fraternal union republic of the USSR, the granary and the sugar bowl Europe as part of the Russian Empire.

It seems that even this not very combat-ready and motley fleet of the Navy against the background of the current civil war in Ukraine will be flooded by crews in the roads. Repeat the fate of the Black Sea Fleet in 1918.

No! Now they will sell for scrap. And they will drink the money, but the fleet will not be dishonored. Because there is nothing to disgrace.
It is better to let them vtyuhayut all this unnecessary Ukraine in general and now especially, junk "Al-Qaeda" or the Somali pirates - so that they get even with the Americans.

Romania is the main adversary of Ukraine in the region, which has real territorial claims to it, has in its fleet6 the only submarine of project 877, supplied by the USSR, is in a sludge, but if we consider that the Poles have diesel-electric submarines of project 877 Ozel ", they can find; the flagship of the fleet, the destroyer "Marasesti", built during the reign of Ceausescu from missile armament, has only 8 P-20 anti-ship missile systems, no anti-aircraft missile systems; 2 British Brodsworth, transferred within NATO, have neither anti-aircraft missile systems nor anti-ship missiles; 4 Tetal corvettes since the time of Ceausescu, they have neither anti-ship missiles nor air defense systems; 6 RCA (3 pr.1241, 3 pr.205); 5 minesweepers, this is not counting the Danube flotilla.

    Romanian destroyer "Marasesti"

Romanian Brodsward-class frigate "Regele Ferdinand" (King Ferdinand)

    Romanian corvette "Tetal-2"
Thus, the missile salvo of the Romanian fleet exceeds the Ukrainian one by eight times (32 versus 4), since there is only one attack ship for the entire Ukrainian one - "Pridneprovye" (4 Mosquitoes) and that's it. the rest looks like this today:

former RCA project 206 "Uman" (onboard U152)

    another RCA project 206 "Kakhovka"

Roma, again you are driving a blizzard. Boxers with a displacement of 4 oo tons and a length of 150 m total with a displacement of 1500 tons and a length of 100 m are armed with ONE 76 mm cannon.
and at the same time they have NO anti-aircraft missile weapons at all.
"Maraseshti" walks like an iron, it almost turned over during the tests.
And is it your strength? And what the hell are you throwing a photo of the old list of Ukrainian ships, and when you completely ignore the fact that the totals are still in a worse state ???? And is it incomprehensible on the go at all?
And where did you get the number of 30 missiles from the Romanian fleet? The absence of air defense systems makes Romanian steamers vulnerable even to two shock Ukrainian ships, while Romanian missiles can be destroyed by Ukrainian air defense systems.

the Dnieper missile corvette is equipped not with mosquitoes but 2 * 2 PU Termite - the first anti-ship missiles of the mid-twentieth century, of which to bring down a modern ship is almost impossible, outdated already in the 70-s ...
They are not aimed at small ships, the most primitive means of electronic warfare block them, it is not difficult to bring down this missile ...
