Slandered prosecutors. Who is guilty? - MASS MEDIA!
According to Yuri Chaika, the Russian media on the fact of the so-called gambling case (the case of prosecutors outside Moscow) launched a campaign that does not have a quote: nothing in common with the interests of justice. The Prosecutor General stated that he sees absolutely no reason to talk about the guilt of officials (such as the first deputy prosecutor of Moscow Region, Alexander Ignatenko, for example, the author’s note), whose names in the last 1,5 of the year appeared in the Russian media. Yuri Yakovlevich Chaika doesn’t see the reasons for this, because it turns out that prosecutors conducted as many 30 checks on those gambling halls (underground casinos) owned by Ivan Nazarov, who became notorious, and didn’t reveal any violations. And the media, as well as their readers (viewers, listeners) have to fully trust these checks, judging by the intonation of Yuri Chaika.
In order to understand whether to trust the information provided by some prosecutors on the fact of the “possible” commission of a corruption crime by other prosecutors, you can refer to the words of the prosecutor general himself expressed at the same parliamentary hour before the deputies. So, Chaika noted that from 2011 to 2013 years in Russia, the number of illegally convicted citizens was more than 14 thousand people. Namely - 14261 people. And they condemned these people because the mistakes of law enforcement officers allegedly manifested themselves.
By such a promise, Yuri Chaika actually makes it clear that to this number of illegal (“by mistake”) convicted citizens could be added several more completely innocent employees of the Moscow region prosecutor’s office. But with the “lawlessness” of 14261 once the failed law enforcement officers managed to cope with the auditors who work day and night - 30 checked the gambling halls of Ivan Nazarov once but didn’t find anything criminal and illegal.
Recall that the "gambling" (or "prosecutor") case was initiated back in 2011 year. According to the investigation, the entrepreneur Nazarov organized in the Moscow region a network of illegal casinos and gambling clubs (a total of 18 halls), from which he made impressive profits, using the patronage of prosecutors and representatives of law enforcement agencies. The patronage, as stated by the representatives of the investigating authorities, was carried out on a far from gratuitous basis. The photographs in which Nazarov holds parties with the presence of rejoicing at the lives of employees of the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office, spread through the Russian (and not only, by the way, Russian) media. Nazarov was detained, and he began to give, shall we say, extensive accusatory testimony. The figures of the case were such prosecutors as mentioned already Alexander Ignatenko (his face very often "shone" in photographs with Nazarov), Vladimir Glebov and Roman Nimischenko. History with the departure of Ignatenko to “rest” in Poland immediately after the start of the investigation of this case, as well as with his thorny return to Russia at the “hot request” of the domestic side, made a lot of noise. However, later all the suspects were released from custody, and some of those suspects decided to strike back by declaring “to protect honor and dignity”: they say, in our respect all conceivable and inconceivable procedural sections were violated.
And, if we go back to the statements of the Prosecutor General, the “honor and dignity” of his subordinate colleagues suspected of corruption schemes may well be “restored” with a simultaneous injection to the investigating authorities and full rehabilitation of the slandered ... Yuri Seagull on the speech, stating that the criminal case of fraud was at one time opened without any reason ...
If we summarize all the nuances indicated by the head of the RF GP, we get something like the following picture: illegal gambling took place, underground casinos existed (but what does it mean that they existed? law enforcement agencies, even despite the testimony of the owner of the business, he did not enter into a corrupt relationship with him. It turns out that the main culprits of everything that happened, except for the "mistaken" investigators, are the media. They are all vile!.. They wanted to discredit such people!.. They inflated here, you understand, out of the blue...
If it were not for the media, the Russians would have slept quietly, not knowing about, undoubtedly, the false testimony of Nazarov from the first to the last letter. If it were not for the media, no one would see “just friendly” photos in which prosecutors drink almost brotherly with the owner of the illegal gambling business. Oh, and the media! - do not allow citizens to sleep peacefully –dirty provocateurs! ..
And Yuri Chaika told the deputies that it’s time to stop calling the nationality of criminals, because criminals have no nationality, and that the greatest number of violations of the rights of Russian citizens is observed in the housing sector ... For dessert, so to speak ...
By the way, if the Prosecutor General has information about how many citizens are “sitting” by mistake, then it is interesting, but how are things with statistics about how many “do not sit” by mistake, but should “sit” ...
