Cossack genocide

Cossack genocide

95 years ago, the Sverdlov directive on the genocide of the Cossacks was issued. Although initially in the winter 1918 - 1919. many believed that the days of the Bolsheviks were numbered. The World War ended, the armies of the Entente were freed. Her squadron entered the Black and Baltic Seas, the French landed in Odessa and Sevastopol, the British in Baku and Batumi. Representatives of the Entente promised to Denikin and Krasnov that troops would soon arrive to them, weaponoutfit But ... in fact, none of this followed.

Western governments did not intend to save Russia. Lloyd George openly stated in the English Parliament: “The expediency of assisting Admiral Kolchak and General Denikin is all the more debatable because they are fighting for a united Russia. It’s not for me to indicate whether this slogan is in line with the policy of Great Britain. ” No, it seemed more appropriate to fan the civil war and dismember our country. Entente powers flirted with the Ukrainian, Polish, Baltic, Caucasian nationalists. And the intervention was limited to port cities. Deep into Russia, the British and French contingents did not move.

The Soviet leadership was able to freely concentrate its forces against the White Guards. The situation is especially alarming on the Don. The departure of the Germans from Ukraine opened Cossack lands from the west. The front line increased by 600 km. The Don army covered the four red armies with a total number of 124 thousand bayonets and sabers from various sides. The Cossacks had 38 thousand in formation. Now they had to stretch the front, plug holes. The winter was harsh, the blizzards were filled with shallow trenches. Typhus was added, the Cossacks mowed worse than bullets and shells. They held out their last strength. Most of them fought already with 1914 of the year. They are very tired. Over and over again reflected the Soviet offensive. But the Bolsheviks reformed and threw new divisions at the Don, and there was no one to change the Cossacks.

Looming disaster. Ataman Krasnov turned to Denikin, sent an embassy to Romania - to the headquarters of the Entente, asked for help. Troops of volunteers arrived from Denikin, but small ones — the Reds also launched an offensive in the North Caucasus. General Poult came from the British to Don, captains Fuke and Bertello from the French. Krasnov prayed to send weapons and military contingents. Not even to the front - but to place them in the rear cities, to cover the Don from the Donbass side.

Poole, who previously commanded the expeditionary corps in Arkhangelsk and understood Russian affairs, agreed that emergency assistance was required. He sent an order to the British brigade located there in Batumi to urgently relocate to the Don. Wired to London, asking to expedite the sending of transports with weapons. And he went to England to personally bother about the support of the Don. In turn, Fuke and Bertello promised that French troops from Odessa would march on Kharkov, distract the Reds.

However, Pull in London was removed from his post. He was told frankly that England needed the friends of England, not Russia. The Batumi brigade did not even have time to sink into the ships, the order was canceled. In the meantime Krasnov persuaded the Cossacks to hold out a little more. Encouraged fast help. When a group of French and English officers arrived in Taganrog - just out of curiosity, the ataman invited them to be guests, drove through the villages: here, they say, allies are already here! At banquets, drunken foreigners were not shy about promises. Cossacks believed, inspired.

But ... instead of helping up on the Don, the French captain Fuke came again with “extraordinary powers” from the commander-in-chief, Franchet d'Esprey, and suddenly began to make demands that the Cossack Army recognize France’s “supreme power” militarily, politically, administratively and internally. . To the ataman, from now on, acted only “with the knowledge of Captain Fuke.” Krasnov and the Don government were stunned. Like this? Recognize the power of France over themselves and submit to some kind of captain? They answered that they could not accept such requirements. However, no help from the French even smelled.

And the Cossacks were cold, lousy and died in positions. Rumors spread — deception ... treason ... Krasnov was no longer believed. At first, he convinced that the Germans would help, take under the auspices, then painted how the British with the French would protect. It turned out - a lie. Bolsheviks took advantage. Their agitators instilled: “We do not touch yours, and you do not touch us. Go home. You are on your own, we are on our own. ” They explained: “The Red Guard used to be outraged by Don, but now everything is completely different. Now the Red Army has discipline in it. ”

At Christmas, on the northern section of the 28 of the Upper Don, Kazan and Migulinsky regiments threw the front and went home. Meet the holiday. And on the feast itself, Trotsky’s agents appeared in the villages with bundles of “Nikolaev” money, vodka was exposed with buckets (printing machines were put at the disposal of the Bolsheviks at the Mint, but in the “white” territories tsarist money was quoted highly, considered “real”). Only Veshenskaya to treat the villagers 15 thousand rubles were lent. Razuzhlyavshis, the Cossacks at the gatherings recognized Soviet power. Following this, in the neighboring Khopersky district, the regiments began to leave positions. Here, from the side of the Reds, the corps of the Cossack Mironov acted. He was “his” for the Donors, many with weapons went over to him. There was a gap in the front where the Soviet troops moved. Cossacks met them with bread and salt ...

However, instead of the long-awaited reconciliation, a nightmare struck. All data suggests that he prepared in advance. Back in October, the People's Commissar for Military and Maritime Affairs, 1918, Trotsky created special bodies, Revvoentribunaly. They did not have any legal proceedings, even simplified ones. It was punitive detachments, personally subordinate to Trotsky. They focused on Don in advance. But they were waiting for the right moment when the Cossacks would open the front. Otherwise, would they have allowed the Bolsheviks to their lands?

Now it has become “possible.” Cossack red commander Mironov Trotsky suddenly transferred to the Western Front, to Belarus. In order not to interfere. And the Cossack regiments, who had gone over to the side of the Reds, were driven into echelons and sent to the Urals. In mid-January, a meeting of the leaders of the political leaders of the fronts was held in Moscow. Sverdlov spent it. Obviously, just at this meeting the details of the upcoming action were clarified. And on January 24, 1919 was issued a circular directive of the Organizing Bureau of the Central Committee signed by Sverdlov. It indicated:

“Recent events on various fronts and in the Cossack regions, our advancements into the depths of the Cossack troops force us to give instructions to party workers about the nature of their work in these areas. It is necessary, taking into account the experience of the civil war with the Cossacks, to recognize as the only right the most relentless struggle with all the leaders of the Cossacks by means of their total extermination.

1. To conduct mass terror against the rich Cossacks, exterminating them without exception, to conduct a merciless mass terror to all Cossacks in general, who took any direct or indirect part in the struggle against Soviet power. It is necessary to apply all measures to the average Cossacks, which give a guarantee against any attempts on his part to new demonstrations against the Soviet power.

2. To confiscate bread and force all surplus to be poured into the indicated points, this applies both to bread and to all other agricultural products ... ”It was also prescribed to“ carry out ... in a hurry order the actual measures for the mass relocation of the poor to Cossack lands ”.

We emphasize several features. There was no Organizing Bureau of the Central Committee at that time! This was the second name of the Secretariat, personnel and clerical body under the Central Committee. Solve political issues he had no right. But the directive of the Secretariat (that is, Sverdlov) was issued on behalf of the entire Central Committee! It said: “The Central Committee decides ...”! Even from the point of view of Bolshevik “legality,” the document was more than doubtful. However, the campaign was already prepared, the directive gave it a start.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic, Vatsetis, wrote about Cossacks: “This is a kind of zoological environment, and nothing more. The hundred million Russian proletariat, even from the point of view of morality, does not here have the right to any generosity. The cleansing flame must pass through the whole Don, and all of them bring fear and almost religious horror. The old Cossacks should be burned in the flames of a social revolution ... Let their last remnants, like evangelical pigs, be thrown into the Black Sea ... ”Trotsky coined the term“ to arrange Carthage ”for the Cossacks.

A member of the Donrevkoma Reinhold reported to Lenin: “We challenged the Cossacks, starting their mass extermination. This was called raskazachivaniem; with this we hoped to improve the Don, to make it, if not Soviet, then submissive and obedient to the Soviet power ... Undoubtedly, our principled view of the Cossacks, as an element alien to communism and the Soviet idea, is correct. The Cossacks, at least a huge part of them, will have to be destroyed sooner or later, simply physically destroyed ... ”

The very word "Cossack", wearing the traditional form was forbidden. For violation - shooting. The villages were renamed in the parish, farms - in the village. Part of the Don lands was divided into the Voronezh and Saratov provinces, subject to settlement by the peasants. At the head of the villages were commissioners, usually from “foreigners” - Jews, Germans, Hungarians. Cossacks seized any weapon, they imposed a large contribution. They took food and livestock, essentially condemning people to starvation.

Immediately rolled and reprisals. Terror to the Cossacks who participated in the fight against the Soviet government? And who did not accept if there was a general mobilization on the Don from 19 to 52 years? If someone disappeared or retreated with the whites, they executed the family. “Remove” gendarmes? They grabbed the old people who served with the king in 1905. Somewhere, they began to liberate land for immigrant peasants. Cossacks drove into the winter steppe. To ruin.

Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov spoke eloquently about what was happening on the Don in his novel. In 1931, he wrote to Gorky: “Not exaggerating colors, I painted the harsh reality that preceded the uprising, and deliberately missed the facts that served as the direct cause of the uprising, for example, extrajudicial execution in Migulinsk 62 of old Cossacks or shootings in Kazan and Shumilino, where the number of people shot in 6 days have reached over 400 people. ”

Eyewitnesses said: “Death sentences fell in batches. Executions were often carried out during the day in front of the entire village of 30 - 40 people immediately, and those convicted with mockery, whooping and shouting led to the place of execution. On the spot of execution the convicts were stripped naked, and all this was in front of the inhabitants. Women who covered their nakedness with their hands were bullied and forbidden to do it. ” “Lawless requisitions and confiscations need to be kept in the hundreds of thousands. The population moaned from violence and abuse. There is no farm and village, which would not consider their victims of the Red Terror to be tens and hundreds. Don was numb with horror ... ”

In Uryupinskaya executed by 60 - 80 people per day. In the Veshensky Cathedral a shameful "wedding" of an 80-year-old priest with a mare was staged. In Bokovsky, the commissar killed those who drew his attention to him for the sake of entertainment. In Morozovsky, Commissioner Boguslavsky also killed people himself. Later 50 found buried corpses in his yard, and 150 - men, women, children - behind the village. Many of them were slaughtered, bore traces of torture, rape. Yakir took direct part in the massacres, contained his own punitive detachment of 530 Chinese (destroyed 8 thousand. People) Another political worker, Rosalia Zalkind (Zemlyachka), who was present at the executions, became famous for sadism.

But it was difficult to kill all the Cossacks, and other measures were envisaged along with the executions. A member of the RVS, Sokolnikov (Brilliant), demanded that the Cossacks be sent to hard labor and ordered “to start building and equipping concentration camps immediately”. His colleague, Syrtsov, telegraphed to Veshenskaya: “Prepare step-by-step points for sending you to forced labor in Voronezh gubernia, Pavlovsk and other places of the entire male population from the age from 18 to 55 inclusively ... Shoot five for each escaped.”

But if the genocide on the Don is less known to us through the pages of the “Quiet Don”, then we must take into account - it was carried out in all the Cossack regions. On the Terek, a massacre was staged even earlier, in October-November, 1918 was incited by the "revolutionary" highlanders to cut the Cossacks. A friend of Sverdlov, Shaya Goloshchekin, sold out in the Urals. Subsequently, the ombudsman from Moscow, Ruzheinikov, who arrived in Uralsk specifically to correct the “excesses”, released thousands of Cossacks as innocently arrested from prisons. And how many are not released, considered arrested legally? And how much was already lying in the ground? After all, they didn’t keep long in prisons, the conveyors of death operated uninterruptedly. The genocide fell on the Orenburg and Astrakhan Cossacks. Even on the Cossack units who fought on the side of the Reds! When Denikin defeated the 2 Soviet army in winter battles, the only combat-ready unit that retreated in order was Kochubey's Kuban brigade. In Astrakhan, it was disarmed under the pretext of “anarchy,” many were arrested. Kochubey wanted to shoot, he fled to the steppe and died.

From the point of view of ordinary logic (even the logic of “class struggle”), the campaign of genocide was irrational. Just as irrational as regicide, as the extermination of the Russian intelligentsia in the meat grinder of the “red terror” in the autumn of 1918. After all, it was not about suppressing resistance, not about punishing opponents! On the contrary, the massacre fell upon those Cossacks who had already recognized the Soviet power. They could provide logistical support for the red units fighting against Denikin and Kolchak. And one of the Cossacks was ready to fight on the side of the Reds ... For what reason and for what reason was it decided to exterminate them? Some hacks, trying to explain this, even came up with a legend - they say, the young Yasha Sverdlov in 1905 was caught by the Cossacks and wanted to hang, so Sverdlov and harbored hatred for them. Although such a case has never happened. And in fact, the mere hatred of Yakov Mikhailovich would not be enough. The genocide was organized by his many associates and assistants.

No, the background was deeper. For projects to build a "bright future," the Cossacks seemed inappropriate material. They strictly and carefully kept the tradition. They at one time formed Russia, and the belt of the Cossack Troops at the borders seemed to fasten our state. But, according to Sverdlov and Trotsky, the Russian people were supposed to be impersonal and fool. Turn into wordless slaves in the agricultural "communes" and "labor armies." Yes, and Russia itself should be put on the kindling in the flames of the “world revolution”. Cossacks in such schemes did not fit. It would inevitably be a stumbling block in the path of these plans.

On top of that, the Cossacks traditionally called and recognized themselves as “Christ soldiers”. Called not by mobilization, but by the Lord himself. A Cossack is a warrior always, regardless of whether he is on the real, in the reserve or on the civilian. His service is from birth to death. Service to the Fatherland. Even those Cossacks, who took the side of the Reds, invented a special "Cossack Bolshevism" for themselves. They hoped to save their habitual way of life (except for the redistribution of the earth), they did not renounce Belief in God. In general, wherever you look, they turned out to be enemies not only for Lev Davidovich and Yakov Mikhailovich, but also for their foreign masters. For the circles of the international financial and political "backstage", organized and supported the destruction of Russia. It was this goal that united the heterogeneous parts of the operation - the killing of the king, the rout of the Church, the destruction of the national Russian culture. It is this logic that the extermination of the Cossacks fully corresponded. Complementary destructive processes.

But in this case, the authors miscalculated. They drove the crazed intelligentsia into slaughterhouses like sheep. The spontaneous mutiny of the peasants and the hunger riots of the workers were quite easily suppressed. But the Cossacks were born and experienced warriors. Familiar to the spike, able to quickly organize. Their patience was only enough for a month, until they realized that they actually intend to lime at the root. The fire took up at once in several places. In the village of Yelanskaya, when 20 punishers captured another batch of victims, the Krasnoyarsk farm was set up. The Cossack Atlanov assembled a 15 man with two rifles - they went to fight off those arrested with swords and whips. In Kazan, when 25 tribunals with a machine gun to carry out “Carthage” arrived at one of the farmsteads, they also revolted. Gone chain reaction. The centurion Yegorov raised 2 thousand people in the Cossack outrage ...

As propaganda materials, the insurgents distributed the same Sverdlovsk genocide directive and a telegram of Kolevaev, a member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Southern Front, in fulfillment of the directive, found by the commissioners killed. The insurgency spread rapidly, sweeping the stanitsa of Kazan, Elan, Veshenskaya, Migulinskaya, Shumilinskaya, Meshkovskaya, Ust-Khoperskaya, Karginskaya, Bokovskaya. Cossacks independently formed hundreds and regiments, chose commanders. They advanced the slogan: “For the Soviet power, but against the commune, executions and robberies”. The rebels did not have weapons, ammunition - almost all surrendered. But they took out their grandfather's checkers, forged the pikes and rushed to the attacks with cold weapons. Poured canister and bullets from tin dishes, from lead sieve winnowing. For several captured cannons, glasses of oak shells were turned on a lathe. And they persecuted, smashed executioners.

At the same time, the Ural Cossacks rebelled. Of course, not agreeing with Donskoy. But the same laws acted, they led to the same result. The Orenburg Cossacks also rose. Terek rose, actively supported Denikin. As a result, the campaign of genocide caused only harm to Soviet power. Victories on all fronts broke. Instead of finishing the White Guards, the troops turned around against the rebel Cossacks. Kolchak, Denikin recovered from the defeats and went on the offensive ... However, the international backstage behind Sverdlov and Trotsky, too, arranged this turn. Instead of ending the civil war in Russia, its new round began to unwind. New seas of blood poured. Great power fell into chaos and could not threaten Western competitors. On the contrary, it turned into a tasty prey.

What kind of articles are needed here! Read "Quiet Don"!
Great literature gives the right answers.
The whole process is shown in this epic from the inside, without the vain "wisdom of men" inherent in the writings of many learned men.

Not only "Quiet Don", but also "Virgin Soil Upturned", as well as "Dauria" by Konstantin Sedykh, in my opinion, very truthfully show the life, everyday life and struggle of the Cossacks. The approach and disclosure of the topic by the authors are somewhat different, but the fact that this is done with talent is indisputable.

Again, the West was benefiting from a civil war within the country, which would eventually dismember Russia and manage its pieces as they want !!! They aspired to this then, they aspire to it now !!! This plan is also traced in Ukraine, creates chaos, then civil war, and then the country is divided into pieces !!! Nothing has changed between the Anglo-Saxons and its allies !!!

I support. I read the book "Quiet Flows the Don", published in 1941 while still in school, it struck my eyes when Sholokhov described the equipment of the Red Army, it was clearly better equipped than the Cossacks. I didn't believe it at first. since in Soviet times, films showed the opposite.

How many Russian people died, horror.

For this, I cannot be on the side of the Bolsheviks — the goal cannot justify the means for shedding blood immeasurably — you dig your own grave.

It is not surprising that most of the revolutionary executioners of that time subsequently ended as well as their victims.

In the first years after the so-called revolution, not only the Cossack estate was subjected to genocide, but also the nobility and priesthood. But to destroy the Cossacks was not so simple, since it was an organized military force, albeit a small one. :(

A clear lesson on how to pay for treason. After all, the rejection of cohesion, of truly becoming a royal support, led to all that is described above. By the way, remember that you are swampy, rocking the boat, remember, and your Yakir and the Chinese will come to you to bury you.

it’s almost as if the military class in 41 decided not to go all the way with the power of which they swore, not to produce unnecessary victims. The estate of the Cossacks initially used the privileges that were granted to them, but instead had to serve faithfully. And when the time came to prove that they really were the king’s support, they didn’t want to multiply the victims. Actually, therefore, they were destroyed as a class, as unnecessary.

Reliance of a king, explain? The king renounced. Romanov Nikolai Alexandrovich and his family betrayed Russia, but not the Cossacks. The Cossacks did not go to the slaughter by rams, like Nicholas 2.

The Cossacks did not betray anyone. You, many non-Cossacks, do not know that the Don Cossacks swore allegiance only to the Tsar, and not to the Fatherland. The fatherland of every Cossack is Don. We still have an expression - "here in Russia ...". The tsar renounced - the Cossacks returned home, since there was no one to whom they had sworn allegiance since ancient times, when they actually joined Russia.

The king, who abdicated the throne, by this abdication himself betrayed his people, all those who swore allegiance to him. Moreover, many of them were at the front and shed their blood there and what it was like for them to be left without their "banner". And therefore, he is not a martyr, but-Judas.

Initially, the Cossack Boyar husband, a warrior who received the Kaz (order) to preserve the Earth Native Fatherland (Russia, Muscovy, Tartaria, Russia and other names) but not like no king (there were no kings then). The Don Cossacks were unable to save their place of residence not all of their native land. Probably forgot Kaz. therefore, the Soviet government was able to bring discord into the ranks of the Cossacks.

Probably forgot Kaz. therefore, the Soviet government was able to bring discord into the ranks of the Cossacks.

In general, initially the Cossacks were simply runaway, as a rule serfs, fled to the Don (looking for freemen). They fought in gangs. they traded mainly by robbery, collected tribute from those who sailed along the rivers (then the rivers had the main transport arteries, by the way, therefore, all Cossack districts — or, as they were called by the names of the rivers) or security and escort of goods.
In general, a direct analogue of the Bedouins. One to one - only these in the B.V. or the Vikings in the north
Due to the specific kind of activity related to the ability to handle weapons and, of course, the presence of a certain military structure and, accordingly, commanders (atamans), they were attracted by the kings - for border protection, expeditionary expeditions with the aim of seizing land, security functions - in exchange, receiving the main thing, and namely, the refusal from prosecution as fleeing forts - and there was even such an order that a peasant who escaped and reached the Cossack villages (the so-called Sich) was automatically considered free and was not subject to prosecution.
In return, the Cossacks gave the kings what they demanded of them, service, participation in campaigns. border protection and police functions (such as explosives) in the empire
Therefore, you do not need all these tales. Defense of Russia, such as no relation to tsarism and all these similar myths
When Yermak almost captured Siberia and arrived with all the presents to Ivan the Terrible - most of all he was afraid of. so it is that he and half of his chieftains are transplanted as runaways. But the gifts were rich, and the territories were not small, therefore they were forgiven by royal mercy.
It is beautiful of course to live in fairy tales, but what was - was was not in any way overturning the subsequent merits of the Cossacks as warriors (to take at least their participation in the 1812 war). Napoleonic troops were most afraid of Cossack peaks.
But, the Cossacks began as a gang of robbers, retailers and private security companies --- well, they are trying to revive many of these functions now.
And then - were the internal troops of tsarism - a sort of Praetorian guard.

The enslavement of peasants in Russia began in the 11-12th century, the first mention of the Cossacks dates back to 1445.
What do you say about this.

the word "Kozak" came to Russian and Polish from Ukrainian and goes back to Old Russian "Kozak", which meant "civilian employee, farm laborer."

In the dictionary of V. I. Dahl it is noted, however, that this term "probably" comes from the Central Asian "Kazmak" in the meaning of "wander, wander." For him, the Cossack was understood as an “army man in the street, a settled warrior” belonging to the “Cossack estate” in Novgorod and northern dialects, “farm laborer, annual hired worker” (not day laborer), sometimes “servant.” [9]

The ancient Turkic meaning is “separated, set aside from a kind”. [10]

Ataman Krasnov, “a representative of the five millionth free people,” as he liked to call himself, quickly established a semblance of diplomatic relations with Ukraine of the hetman Skoropadsky and Germany. The Germans and Ukrainians recognized the sovereign power - though, again, unofficially, without sending plenipotentiary ambassadors and the thunder of orchestras. Inspired Krasnov wrote a letter to Kaiser Wilhelm, in which, without false modesty, he asked to make a large number of small requests: that the Kaiser help return the Taganrog District by putting pressure on Ukraine for this; so that the Kaiser would facilitate the transfer of Voronezh, Kamyshin, and Tsaritsyn to “for strategic reasons” by pushing Moscow for this. And in return, if you discard diplomatic turnovers, he promised to continue to stand in any position from the Kama Sutra, which Germany would please. The Don were not going to seriously fight the Bolsheviks. Out of about thirty-five thousand combatant Cossacks, only four hundred came to the Denikin Volunteer Army. It is not surprising that Denikin, who looked impotently with anger at this political news, once said: “The Don Army is a prostitute selling herself to the one who pays the most.”
Krasnov was seriously offended and, in turn, called Denikin "a traitor", an apologist for the "old regime", "who offended the brutally young national feelings of the Cossacks."
This operetta "power" lasted for a short time - in the end, she still sent several small detachments to fight with the Bolsheviks, who left the front in the Voronezh province and turned home, hoping to stay. Failed. The Reds came and staged what we now know as “gossip."
One of the leaders of the repressions was not even repeatedly criticized by Sverdlov, but Andrei Lukich Kolegaev, a long-term member of the Left Socialist Revolutionary Party, who joined the Bolsheviks in the eighteenth. It was he, a member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Southern Front, who sent the armies directives that surpassed even Sverdlov’s circulars: burn the rebellious farms, shoot everyone who took not only direct but also indirect participation in the uprisings, shoot every tenth, or even fifth.

And why did the Cossacks have to join Denikin's army when they had their own Don army? You forgot to write that Ataman Krasnov P.N. fully supplied the Dobrarmia with ammunition, food, uniforms and placed them on its territory. In response, he received insults. You also kept silent about the answer of P.N. Krasnov. Denikin; - "If the Don Army is a prostitute, then Denikin is a cat fed by a prostitute!" So that's it.

And on that, and on the other hand, his best sons, their families, their children, born and not born, perished. Gangs of the Cossack chieftain Annenkov.

In the city of Sergiopol, 800 people were shot, chopped and hanged. The village of Troitskoye was burned, where 100 men, 13 women, 7 babies were killed by the Annenkovites. In the village of Nikolsky, 300 people were flown, 30 were shot and five were hanged. In the village of Znamenka, which is 45 miles from Semipalatinsk, almost the entire population has been carved, and women have their breasts cut off. In the village of Kolpakovka, 733 people were chopped up, shot and hanged, in the village of Podgorny, 200. The villages of Bulgaria, Konstantinovka, Nekrasovka were burned. In the village of Pokatilovka, half of the inhabitants are chopped up. In Karabulak, Ucharalsky volost, all men were destroyed. According to witness Turchinov, the corpses did not burrow, and the dogs were so fattened and accustomed to human flesh that, the beast, rushed at living people. Near the Chinese border in the tract An-Agach, there were 900 corpses, and beyond the Ala-Kul lake - 600. All of them were former soldiers of the Annenkov hordes and were destroyed by their own for not wanting to remain under the rule of the chieftain.

        Is this Annenkov a Cossack?
Rather - a Russian officer of the Cossack troops.

"Boris Vladimirovich Annenkov (9/21 / February 1889 - 25 August 1927) was born in the family of a hereditary nobleman, a retired colonel, which had about 70 acres of land and an estate in the Volyn province. “On the line of my father, my ancestry comes from the Decembrist Annenkov,” wrote B.V. Annenkov.

Having graduated from the Odessa Cadet Corps by the 1906 and in the 1909 from the Moscow Alexander School, he was in the rank of cornet defined to serve in the 1st Siberian Cossack Ermak Timofeevich regiment, commanded a hundred, and then served in the Cossack regiment in Kokchetav ... "

Interestingly, civil war, with everything else it's like chess, equal "starting" positions for White and Black, then everything depends only on intelligence, cunning, deceit, etc. etc. The Reds won, so they turned out to be smarter, more cunning, more cunning than the Whites, who prevented the Whites from winning? Did the Reds have some kind of cheat activated? Or were they much stronger militarily? Yes, Lenin was a genius, it's stupid to deny it and somehow childishly, "no, Lenin was a killer maniac", but then it turns out that "the best minds that Mother Russia could put forward" was won by one "unbalanced demagogue"? What are these "best sons of Russia" then worth? Who prevented them from rallying and supporting the Volunteer Army? The communists interfered with the chtoli? Would you take a saber, a three-line, a faithful horse and go and pile on the "infidels-Bolsheviks", why have they withdrawn? Why did they start squabbling and empty talk in their Cossack circles? The same Denikin repeatedly in his memoirs recalls all these endless squabbles of the Cossacks among themselves and they say “my house is on the edge.” It is clear that as soon as the Dobravoltsy were dealt with, they came for the Cossacks, what for Lenin the Cossacks? Why the hell did they surrender to him? future thought aat, and not only when they came for them. So that all these lamentations about the "innocent murdered" are better left for impressionable schoolgirls, who can be showered with noodles about "insidious communists who destroyed the Russian Empire's dream country."

Volunteers are fighting with the Reds at their side, and the Cossacks are sitting, to help or not help, it might be better to sit out ? And in general "woe to the vanquished," and even worse to those indifferent and hoping to sit out. Ahh crowds of executed officers. Why did not they fight and die with weapons in their hands. The children, women and old people who were shot, why were they not protected? They knew that the Reds were on ceremony will not, and why, in fact, only the Reds, how many gangsters of all kinds, Greens, anarchists, newly-minted "rulers", interventionists, "nezalezhnye", they did not kill anyone? That is the Civil War, they don't stand on ceremony here, over there during the Civil War in the USA 1861-65, General Sherman's "March to the Sea", they shot everyone, everyone in general, children, women, old people and nothing.

We, the Cossacks, Russian by language and faith, but not by origin. We, the Cossacks from the Cossacks are leading!

Absolutely the same is said by the newly-born super-ancient Ukrainians.
(Will anyone see himself in them?) They do not want to see that they were artificially brought out according to the principle of "divide and conquer".
The same applies to the Cossacks. If they were a separate people, they would have their own separate language.
And so in the history there are many cases when some people were crushing and creating new separate people from renegades, which were then set off in a mutually destroying war.
It is not necessary to go far: a part of the Serbs were baptized into Catholics and the result was Croats; forced, on pain of death, to convert Islam to another part of it - and all sorts of different Bosnians and other Turchins came out. And, most importantly, to the delight of the experimenters, they cut each other with extreme fanaticism.
It is noteworthy that your position below is selflessly defended by atalef (3)  Today, 14: 55 ↑; "The Cossacks lived separately, married each other - that is how it was and the same is back again."

One of the features of the social structure of Russia during the late XIX - early XX centuries. was the preservation of the Cossack class. The presence of the Cossacks is such a specific phenomenon that without it, knowledge of pre-revolutionary, revolutionary history cannot be sufficiently comprehensive. The long history of the Cossacks testifies to the fact that these or other Cossack troops went into the area of legend and, at the same time, new Cossack regions arose. By the end of the XIX century. In the country there were 11 Cossack troops: Amur, Astrakhan, Don, Transbaikal, Kuban, Orenburg, Siberian, Semirechensk, Tersk, Ussuri, Ural. Of these, the youngest was the Ussuriysk army, approved in 1889. In this composition, the Cossack troops, Cossack regions remained until February 1917. During the period of the Provisional Bourgeois government, two more independent Cossack troops emerged: the Yenisei and Irkutsk. The names of the Cossack troops themselves testify to the breadth of the territories in which the Cossack population lived, suggest that the study of the Cossack problem, the Cossack population is far from local, is of significant interest on a national scale.

Cossacks initially had greater privileges than ordinary citizens of the Russian Empire. They paid less taxes, were not enslaved. settled mainly along the borders of the empire. But along with concessions and privileges they had responsibilities, namely. if bourgeois served every fifth (drafted into the army) Cossacks served without exception, i.e. everything.
The Cossacks had their own separate units, were controlled by their chieftains, and had their military ranks. Tsarism deliberately separated the Cossacks from the rest of the armed forces. The main function of the Cossacks in peacetime (and Russia still lived more in the world than fought) was the function of the Internal (police) troops. pacification of riots, escort, patrolling. Of course, they did not mix with the Russian (and considered themselves a separate nationality) because then the performance of all these functions would be very difficult for them.
And now, ask the Cossack who he is Russian or a Cossack - the Cossack will answer.

It would be interesting to read the biography of the author. There may be found out some very interesting details. Let's just say that he was a member of the Komsomol district committee or a party organizer in a newspaper, and at meetings he branded capitalists of all countries with shame and waved a poster with the words "Freedom to Angela Davis". In this biography, we are unlikely to find information that he refused the education imposed on him by the sworn commies and was imprisoned in Mordovian camps for anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda. But, judging by the rage poured out, information about his grandfather, who fought with Krasnov together with the German "liberators" at Stalingrad, may well be there. True, if it is not an autobiography.

"... It is now and only now, when people are being eaten in hungry areas and hundreds if not thousands of corpses are lying on the roads, we can (and therefore must) carry out the seizures of church valuables with the most frantic and merciless energy and without stopping before suppressing anything resistance ". I usually don't pay too much attention. on the personality of commentators, but the gentleman with the EU flag and a complete lack of information about himself in his profile strongly resembles cheap provocateurs. His own tendency to provocations is evident from the commentary. Citing Lenin's "super-secret letter", he forgot that it could be read in the complete collected works and a dozen other sources. The funny thing is that the "operas" consider the requisition of these values, as well as the values of the exploiting class to save our fellow citizens from hunger, a bad thing, and the frenzied resistance to this requisition and, accordingly, the death of our fellow citizens from hunger, is a good thing. So who then carried out the genocide of the Russian people? Judging by the same flag and rhetoric, this gentleman strongly resembles the "maydanutyh" people who are very unloved on this site about artificially arranged hunger.

From recent history it is well known that the autocracy used the Cossacks as a brutal police force in the suppression of the First Russian Revolution. And quite successful in this. The rebellious masses of workers, soldiers and peasants appreciated the merits of the autocracy of the Cossack punitive with extreme indignation. Even ataman Krasnov frankly admitted this in a fit of frankness: “The people called us to“ thank ”for this with executioners, guardsmen and nagaecniks” (Don and the Volunteer Army .., p. 45). When and where did "Berkut" disperse the starving workers and peasants demanding human relations from the authorities? Maydauns probably demand an 8-hour working day, cancel fines for production and land to the peasants? Maybe show where "Berkut" chops with sabers presumptuous fascists? when people trained to think critically die out, and then start your stuffing.

Last weekend in Crimea, there was a bloody massacre between Russian Cossacks and Ukrainian special forces "Berkut" and "Tiger"
The video from the scene captured the moments when the fighters put up a solid wall of shields in front of an old woman in a scarf, who only fears and fears around herself with crosses
"The fight was long and bloody. About 15 Cossack people were seriously injured - their arms and legs were broken, and their heads were broken."
Last weekend, a bloody battle took place in Crimea between Russian Cossacks and the Ukrainian special forces "Berkut" and "Tiger". The reason is the Orthodox cross at the entrance to Feodosia. Local authorities demolished it in order to calm the disgruntled Crimean Tatars professing Islam. The Cossacks tried to return the cross to its place. The result is 15 wounded and 10 detained. The media are full of details of the confrontation.

"The fight was long and bloody. About 15 people from among the Cossacks were seriously injured - their arms and legs were broken, their heads were broken," Sergei Yurchenko from the Council of Atamans of Crimea told Novy Region. According to him, the special forces were waiting for the participants in the procession in full outfit - in helmets, with special equipment, with shields and dogs.

More than a hundred employees of Berkut and Tiger prevented the Cossacks from restoring the cross, the Ukrainian newspaper Segodnya writes. "Berkut" wrung arms, legs and trampled the heads of the Crimean Cossacks, "- reads its headline. From head to toe, equipped special forces opposed women who cried and were baptized. The author, no one in the USSR hated more than the Cossacks. And there was every reason, the Cossacks themselves did not particularly consider themselves Russian, and looked at the peasants in the best case. And it’s not worth it to blame the Cossacks on the civilian, what did they even count on when opposing the government? For enhanced meals and trips to the sanatorium?

The author had to print in the perestroika light, the same intensity of revelations, the same hordes of liquid masars with Sverdlov at the head of the genocide of an innocent racist. Although it may have been printed, mastery is felt. You see it straight and surrounded by vicious reds with Sverdlov personally headed, a small but proud state living in peaceful labor, as in the pastoral songs of the noble Cossack Rosenbaum, there is only a crunch of French rolls missing. Here you and the Cossacks tired of the war, understandably no one else in the country fought and was not tired. Here you and the cold, hunger and typhoid, it is clear in the rest of Russia there was nothing like that. Just expose the invoice for occupation.
Each event has a reason; the author of the reason did not go around intricately. Or does not name, or allegedly it is not interesting, or has nothing to do with what is happening.
Krasnov and the Cossacks were not going to fight for any unification of Russia. The independent state of the Cossacks was declared. Officially consisting of Cossacks, Kazakhs and Russian farmers. The division is not accidental. The title nation was the Cossacks, they owned everything and they decided everything, everyone else could only work and pay taxes. Pure modern latvia with its "non-citizens" from Russians sends greetings and waves a pen. The first thing that the Cossack state did was to establish diplomatic relations with independent Ukraine and Germany. Germany was asked to assist in the seizure of Taganrog from the Ukrainians and Tsaritsyn from Russia, for which the Germans were promised anything, and to feed and drink and put to sleep. It was because of his communication with Germany that the British did not support Krasnov. After that, several hundred (up to five hundred) of the most frostbitten Cossacks began to participate in the civil war on the side of the whites, the rest hoped to sit out as cover for the Germans or anyone else. And it was the inaction of the Cossacks that helped the Reds fight the Whites. Well, then everything is like in a song. A couple of hundred kilometers to the north of the land-peasants, and here natural corvee, exploitation and landlessness of the majority of the population. All the bar and landowners from the Cossacks are in place, the priests regularly demand their tithes, well, in general, a piece of Russia that we all have lost, only the Russian population has become even more deprived of rights. Well, when Sverdlov personally with millions of Jewish Red Army soldiers entered the territory of this pseudo state, genocide began. Sverdlov personally slaughtered half of the rest, as we are told by numerous descendants of the Cossacks who were cut out in infancy. Some were cut out two or more times. In fact, in the destruction of the slave-owning state of the Cossacks, Sverdlov did not play such a significant role. Who is not too lazy to dig. There, such a kublo from a purely Russian was noted, the hair moves, Sverdlov is the only decent person among them. The majority, by the way, were then personally destroyed by Stalin and Beria, beheading the army and killing the most loyal Leninists who wanted to build another USSR with a human face. And the main role in the "genocide of the Cossacks" was played by the very landless Cossacks and landless "Russian farmers" whom the established regime of government of the Cossack elite brought to the handle, and the appearance of Red units was only a pretext. By the way, Sholokhov wrote about this very well. But of course, the stories about innocent Cossacks with a beautiful soul, destroyed and starved to death by the commissars are much more interesting, the story seems to come alive before our eyes.

It is clear that the state of the Cossacks is not a chimera, it is generally recognized, it has borders, an army, embassies, it sits in the UN, it is a member of the Security Council, not that there is some kind of Ukrainian chimera up to now. However, do not disgrace yourself, read at least something on the issue. Understandably at school you had no time for books. Maybe now, something like a "revolution for dummies". Although on the other hand you can understand a person, but now because of some kind of grandson of Ilyich, he’s not reading a book, he used to do it and go on for a smart ride.

Plus for everything, except for this nonsense, which can definitely be printed only in "Ogonyok" Perestroika.

By the way, the majority later personally destroyed Stalin and Beria, decapitating the army and killing the most faithful Leninists who wanted to build another USSR with a human face.

These most faithful Leninists knew nothing but how to arrange revolutions, and for many, management experience was limited to a leather jacket, a gun and slogans in civilian fashion, only then they had 20-25, and by the middle of the 30 they had already managed to survive positions to rise as they directed there is a separate song. The purge of the army is insignificant in percentage terms, but the level of command after the arrest of Tukhachevsky only increased, since the civilian nominees were eliminated, some of the lieutenants were generals, and people of the same age who passed all levels of the military hierarchy and in academies took their place unlearned. About nationality is generally something. Only after all these reborn gangs killed each other in the 37, and Beria cleaned up the remains, really Russians took the lead of the country, not half of the Jews and who the hell knows who. Among Tukhachevsky’s accomplices, there was only one Russian, Primakov.

We must assume the next descendant of the Cossacks whom the Russians and the Jews translated, translated, but not translated. And now he tells the same descendants, we fought so fought, we were so genocide, so there was no genocide, no one was left, only my great-grandfather was taken root and left by ravines. The most interesting thing is that almost all of the civilian Cossacks sat on the priest exactly and no one touched them, for example, at the end they were already raking in wort, for company, but this is certainly genocide, of course. And a heroic struggle. The most interesting thing is that all the present mummers are also useless for anyone and sit on the priest exactly, but the national revival and self-awareness are still rushing, and the struggle for rights will certainly begin to demand compensation for the occupation and genocide soon. Well, as soon as it smells fried, again on the ass, the back is even and sit like a mouse under a broom, but heroically, of course, with Rosenbaum's patriotic songs, so that there would be something for the descendants to tell about the heroism and memory of their ancestors. Until the Cossacks begin to do what they are supposed to do, they are mummers and cause nothing but laughter. Hello to the descendants.

And now Russians are not needed - oil and gas can be pumped so. Kick in the ass?

Nothing is produced by itself. Neither gas, nor oil, nor coal. For example, Urals (mine equipment) and Tatars (KAMAZ) and Kuzbass residents participate in coal mining. Thousands of people are engaged in transportation (Russian Railways). Do not forget about Tom
that our wealth is protected (serving in the army, arming the army, feeding the army) by people from all over the country. Each Russian citizen has the right to his share of oil, gas, coal and not just Kuzbass or New Urengoy residents. Another thing is that the work of a miner, oilman or metallurgist it’s very difficult, often dangerous in and of itself, and besides, we have to live and work in harsher climatic conditions than in the European part of Russia. This must be taken into account when paying for wages, benefits, etc. But this is another question.
And as for the Cossacks, I repeat, as long as they were essentially border guards, they were needed, their privileges were justified. But over time, the Cossacks' areas of residence ceased to be border territories, they were often trusted to carry out punitive actions against the people (dispersal of working demonstrations, suppression of the hungry riots), during the Civil War, they fought on the side of the interventionists, during the Great Patriotic War the Cossacks served the Germans en masse. The Cossacks first went to the category of parasites and then completely became enemies.

I will say in Cossack - You will brechet, dear. You are giving a damn about the Cossacks and about the civil, and so on. Only in the Cossack territories was the most fierce resistance to the communists. And you will have the right to call the mummers when you do something for Russia. I fought in Chechnya as a volunteer from the Cossacks, with Cossack chevrons in uniform. And you? Ermolov Battalion

In 1996, from the Terek and Kuban Cossacks, the 694th separate motorized rifle battalion was formed, the unofficial name of them. A.P. Ermolova. A significant part of the personnel were Cossacks who went through military operations in Transnistria, Abkhazia, Karabakh, and North Ossetia. During the fighting in Chechnya, the battalion fought under the stanitsa Chervlenoy, Grozny, Achkhoy-Martan, Katyr-Yurt, Old Achkhoy, Orekhovo, Shali, Vedeno, Benoy.
At the end of the first Chechen war, the regiment was disbanded.
During the fighting, 27 Cossacks from the battalion died, 262 were wounded and shell-shocked.
98 Cossacks were awarded government awards (25 posthumously).

This unit was born to inevitably die after completing the task. It did not in any way fit into the framework of the general military regulations and contradicted all the traditional ideas of "indestructible and legendary." The Cossack battalion named after General Ermolov, in fact, was an experimental unit of mercenaries. However, this definition is also not typical for him, like many others. Monetary incentives for the Yermolovites played a trifling role in comparison with the main idea - the revival of the Cossacks as a real force in the North Caucasus.
The Ermolovsky battalion was hastily formed at the height of the last Chechen war. Then the press wrote enthusiastically about him. She soon changed pathos to sarcasm, when, after the first battle, several dozen people deserted from the battalion. Vladislav Ivnitsky, a participant in those events, the deputy commander of a reconnaissance platoon, tells about the short, but very difficult path of the first Cossack unit of the new Russia in "Brother".
The Yermolov battalion was formed in January-February 1996 in the old Cossack village - the city of Prokhladny. Most peasants were from Stavropol, although walkers appeared even from Yakutia. Some have fates - novels can be written. A guy got from the Krasnodar Territory - without money, without things, with one toothbrush in his pocket - to avenge a murdered friend. Our sniper, Ivan Ivanovich, who had once hunted in the taiga, at fifty-five years old, left his grandmother and went to war. Marching chieftain Zhora Tsikin - he ran the market in Bataisk. First he went as a company commander in Transnistria, and then, for ideological reasons, he moved to Chechnya. He died near Grozny ... At first glance, many of the recruits had nothing to do with the war. In fact, about forty percent of Yermolovites already had combat experience. They fled the war to fight in Transnistria, Karabakh, in Ossetia and Ingushetia.
The Ermolovsky battalion reminiscent of the old, ancient formations of the Cossacks. When the cry rushed and the people rose on a campaign. Not so much in the hope of a robbery as to feel a fighting spirit. Now the Cossacks were about to return the original Russian lands: the Naursky, Shelkovsky and Nadterechny districts, which in 1956 Khrushchev gave to Chechen-Ingushetia. And are they mummers?

I am a Cossack by origin and in the way of thinking. I will give the following arguments in defense of the Cossacks (the rest of them can be thought out):
    1. Although the Cossacks are free, they love strict order and firm power, because they are used to fighting.
    2. Russia practically owes its expanses to the Cossacks. They not only knew how to conquer, but also to HOLD the conquered. If it turned out, then we were related to the local population.
    3. The most repressed people (if anyone does not like, let the estate) in the USSR.
    4. ORDER OF THE PEOPLE'S DEFENSE COMMISSIONER OF THE USSR

    No. 061 April 21, 1936 Moscow

On the renaming of 10, 12, 4, and 6 cavalry divisions into Cossack divisions, on the formation of the 13th Don Cossack division and a separate cavalry brigade of mountain nationalities, and on the establishment of special uniforms for Cossack divisions.
    5. This great Russian man is practically from my small homeland.

    5. During the war, combat-ready units consisted mainly of Russians. Attempts to form national units have failed. And the Kuban people were honored to fight with elements of national clothing and the only ones to be in it at the Victory Parade.

Do you know why here some hate the Cossacks?
Envy! My grandfathers and great-grandfathers - the Kuban Cossacks always called themselves Russian Cossacks! And with neglect, they never belonged to anyone! And the fact that they were attracted to restoring order - but what's wrong? What brought the Zionist-foreign revolution of Russia? Give specific figures killed by the Cossacks during the unrest 1905 year?
What were the faults and what families of my ancestors in the number of 27 people - only on the mother’s side — from the 8 months of birth to the 87 years that your Zionist fighters for the eternal happiness of work were put under a machine gun?
My paternal great-grandfather, along with other veteran Cossacks who were members of the stanitsa council of the elderly, the Reds shot a wounded man right at the stanitsa Temple — the last frontier of the village’s defense. Old people could not retreat from the temple according to the Cossack tradition. And 60-70 the summer grandfathers did not retreat, the crosses did not take off and did not give up - according to the Russian and Cossack traditions! But the Temple, fighters for the happiness of the people, led by the kind uncle Sverdlov and the sweetest woman Zemlyachka, were immediately burned!
Yes, on our street, the Cossacks deserved St. George's Crosses for the Caucasian, German and orders for the Patriotic War so much that you never dreamed of !!! What a right you have to throw mud at their memory!
And we do not moan or cry, but no one dares to blame the Cossacks for their behavior in the Civil! You were not there! Judge not lest ye be judged!
And you envy that we don’t have Caucasians on the streets, there are no gays, lesbians with their parades, that our boys are happy to go to Cossack classes, to Cossack corps, that we have Cossack patrols on the streets, that we don’t have Venediktov, Gelmanov with the Pozners, the Rain channel and other scum, and we bring flowers not to the victims of the Holocaust and the coup of 91, but to the victims of tumbling and the heroes of the Great Patriotic War!
Why didn’t you volunteer to fight for Russia in the Chechen wars? And we were going men - from 25 - to 40 years, only because they are descendants of the Cossacks and are members of the Cossack society! And then they gave the money to the monuments to the dead, widows and to the Temple! And we collected money from the soldiers, and food, and things! Everyone carried what he could! Where were you all that are now drooling on your keyboard? Did you listen to Svanidzey with the Hakamads?
Nobody shouts about Cossack exclusiveness here and we don’t need any rights! Give duties and allow to serve! According to the army regulations and with combat officers! But only to all adult stanichniks, and not snotty conscripts. How our grandfathers served in the line in due time! And order in the Caucasus will be very fast!
And you, dear Chunga-Changa, organize your movement for a national revival, stand in the front ranks for Russia - mother! And we'll see! Or are you just splashing your tongue? Darling from you somehow rotten carries!
Ali You are for Sverdlov with his Zionist Schoble!
Al Holocaust closer to you than the killing of Russian people?

      but he knew about it:

From November 1932 to January 1933 operations were carried out against 15 villages: 13 Kuban villages: Novorozhdestvenskaya, Temirgoyevskaya, Medvedovskaya, Poltava, Nezamaevskaya, Umanskaya, Ladozhskaya, Urupskaya, Staroderevyankovskaya, Novoderevyankovskaya, Starokorsunskaya, Staroshcherbinovskaya, Platnirovskaya; two Don villages - Meshkovskaya and Bokovskaya. In addition, all trade was completely stopped in nine regions of the region (Nevinnomyssky, Slavic, Ust-Labinsky, Bryukhovetsky, Kushchevsky, Pavlovsky, Kropotkinsky, Novoaleksandrovsky and Labinsky). All foodstuffs were ordered to be taken out of Yeisk, Krasnodar, Kurganinsky, Korenovsky, Otradnensky, Kanevsky, Tikhoretsky, Armavir, Timashevsky, Novopokrovsky districts.
“In order to defeat the resistance to grain procurements, the Central Committee and the Council of People's Commissars decides to expel to the northern regions of the USSR as soon as possible from the village of Poltava, as the most counter-revolutionary of all residents, with the exception of those who are truly loyal to Soviet power. The population of the villages of Poltava, Medvedovskaya and Urupskaya was completely evicted to the northern regions of the USSR - a total of 45 people.
These villages were inhabited by families of Red Army soldiers from other regions of the USSR, who also moved (often by order) to many other villages of the region, where they had the right to occupy any house they liked, regardless of whether it was occupied at that time by the previous owners.
The famine in 1932-1933 in the Kuban and Don was part of the famine that swept the agricultural regions of the USSR.
The dead were buried in mass graves, which often were not indicated in any way. The exact numbers of the dead are unknown. The population of some villages has not reached the previous population today.

Everyone has their own point of view, which is why we exchange comments. Your 10% is again irrelevant. Give by education categories: primary, complete, higher, the dynamics of growth / decline in the level in each category with reference to a specific period - then you can talk about something confidently. By the way, Anna Georgievna, the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, Prince of Kiev, brought the Gospel to France, on which the kings of France later took the oath: the Reims Gospel (by the way, handwritten, on parchment, written in Cyrillic). The presence of this fact cannot be disputed, but if someone on this fact would try to put forward a version of the "universal illiteracy" of the French of that period, it would be ridiculous. So let's not juggle the numbers.

My grandmother recalled ... In the spring of 18, Mironov came to the village with two comrades (he came secretly, fearing - he was literally hunting). Many in the village were his odnuma on the imperialist. That same evening, in a circle, the Cossacks, fully trusting Mironov, enrolled in the Red Army. The village poured into the Mironovsky corps more than 250 sabers.
And in the spring of 19 on the Maidan near the Church of the Nativity of Christ the village old men were shot, EVERYTHING IS ONE !!! (Cossacks know who it is), about 20 Cossacks were shot, and several Cossacks.

in my understanding, the extermination of the Cossacks was a completely logical villainy. it was the elimination of competition. the fact is that in Russia the ability to raise a serious rebellion (revolution) was possessed and possessed only by national minorities, because Russians are still loyal to the state, even to the most stupid (Cossacks, after all, are neither Russians nor Ukrainians, but a separate ethno-social group ... were). Russian rebellion is a fairy tale, it never happened, it was only because of small things that we were bored. major uprisings - Razin, Bulavinsky, Pugachevsky - these are Cossacks, Tatars, Bashkirs.
the Bolshevik revolution - Jews, Caucasians, Balts. here the Jews and "cleaned out" the competitors.

And notice how the Cossacks fought against the Tsar, so these are "peasant" wars. As against the Bolsheviks, so are the counter-revolutionary actions of the White Cossacks. All wars against tsarism were led by the Cossacks, the main military force was the Cossacks. Only the numerical strength of the rebels was deprived of the Cossacks, immediately followed by defeat. In the civil war, the Cossacks in battle passed through the Red Army soldiers like butter with a knife. And only if the red and white Cossacks collided, then the battle was on an equal footing.

From the instructions of the Donburo:

“In order to eliminate the Cossack counter-revolution as soon as possible and to prevent possible uprisings, the Donburo proposes to carry out the following through the appropriate Soviet institutions: 1) In all the villages and farms, immediately arrest all prominent representatives of this village or farm who enjoy any authority, although not involved in counter-revolutionary actions , and send as hostages to the district revolutionary tribunal. (Those who have been convicted, according to the directive of the Central Committee, must be shot.) 2) When issuing an order to surrender a weapon, declare that, if at the expiration of the indicated period someone finds weapons, not only the owner of the weapon will be shot, but also several hostages. 3) In no case may the composition of the revolutionary committee include persons of a Cossack rank, non-communists. Responsibility for violation of this responsibility lies with the district committee and the organizer of the local revolutionary committee.
    4) Compile lists of all escaped Cossacks across the villages under the responsibility of the revolutionary committees (the same applies to fists) and, without exception, arrest and forward them to the district tribunals, where the death penalty should be applied. ”

Private letters of the time, illustrated by military censorship, to some extent reveal the attitude of the population towards white and red. The peasants hesitated and poorly perceived both of them. People did not want to fight, they were forcibly mobilized, provoked by cruelties [249]. “We had an order to go to military service, but in the village they say:“ What are we going to fight for, against whom, against each other and brother against brother? ”“ - they wrote from the Smolensk province in August 1919 [250] The Don Ataman, General P.N. Krasnov wrote about the atrocities of the Red Army, who shot captive Cossacks, who tortured and raped the inhabitants of the villages. He claimed that not a single “captured Bolshevik was executed without trial. But the Cossacks themselves ensured that the court did not give mercy to the commissars ... It was, in the full sense of the word, a people's war. ” But here is another testimony: “Everything is bad, but worse there is no Cossack whip. She spares no one - neither old nor small. The Cossacks did not give us any food, but took away our clothes, not only did they rob, but we had to carry it ourselves without a penny (payment), if you do not take it, then to a field court. Many civilians were shot, not only men, but also women, as well as children. They cut off their legs and hands, gouged out their eyes, ”wrote from Novouzensk district of the Samara province on July 20, 1919,“ We need to hang them left and right, ”the ataman A. M. Kaledin called. And he regretted that “there is no strength for this” [251]. It was not a people's war. It was the extermination of fellow citizens. It was a popular, nationwide tragedy where, in the cruelty of action, each side showed itself in the worst possible way.
In the historiography of the civil war, there is an opinion that it was a political war, that politicians led the red ones, and the military led the white ones, that the battles were then waged “not between democracy and authoritarianism, but between two completely different authoritarian political camps that could oppose powerful armies to each other” [ 252]. So it was in 1919-1920. But the civil war began with a clash of opposing politicians, when Lenin proposed dictatorship to preserve a united Russia, and former members of the Constituent Assembly - parliamentarism. Therefore, the question is about something else, about the rapid defeat in Russia of the beginnings of democracy, about the support by the population of one form or another of a stabilization dictatorship, albeit with clearly mafia, cruel features. The Bolsheviks were quicker to organize themselves, reinforcing the policy of war communism with unconventional ideological principles, ruthless terror and utopian promises.

The first big upsurge of mass terror occurred in the summer - at the beginning of the fall of 1918. At that time, Lenin determined the East front, on the Volga, where the formed Red Army fought on the one hand, and the legionnaires of the Czechoslovak Corps and the People’s Comuch Army on the other [253 ]. Among the participants in the civil war, historians distinguish several groups: supporters of a parliamentary or limited monarchy; adherents of the democratic ideas of the February Revolution and defenders of the dictatorship of the proletariat, they also talk about the state character of the Red Terror and the artisanal White Terror [254], somehow forgetting that the anti-Bolshevik forces occupied vast territories of the country and declared themselves as sovereign governmental state formations . There is a moral aspect to this classification of terror: its innocent victims did not care which one they died from.

V.K. Volsky, chairman of Samara Komuch, later admitted: “The committee acted dictatorially, its power was firm ... cruel and terrible. This was dictated by the circumstances of the civil war. Having taken power in such conditions, we had to act, and not retreat before the blood. And there is a lot of blood on us. We are deeply aware of this. We could not escape it in a fierce struggle for democracy. We had to create a security department, on which the security service was lying, the same emergency and almost worse. "

Personally, I, too, do not reproach others, I do not boast that my two great-grandfathers died in World War I. Two grandfathers died in the Fatherland. My father grew up an orphan. I served in the Navy. Neither they nor I disgraced my kind and lived honestly. If you blamed for anything, he demolished it normally, but when in my presence we allowed ourselves laudatory odes like: here we are Jews, Tatars, Armenians, and so on. I always infuriated me. But they told me well, you’re offended by a Cossack peasant, you not ours. If this happened in my house, I told the person that I don’t want to know him anymore. And I put an end to such a friend. I think it all starts with this: we are mountaineers, and the rest is worse than you, we are Armenians, and what are you better than Russian, well, etc. I believe that when the Circassian tells me you are real Russian, I want to give you a rifle and leather traditionally trousers as a sign of respect. Or I say to Moldova, a Georgian, a Chechen, a mordvin my house is always open for you. This is really very rare. And I always keep my word and always glad to such guests. And I completely agree with Leshiy 28.

He was at Cossack gatherings of non-registered Cossacks. Consider themselves people. True, not everyone drinks. My grandfather fought with them, took Novocherkassk and partisan on the Don. My father did not like them, somehow I was also not very. The Russians are blamed for everything and in all their troubles, Krasnov is a hero. Let the Cossacks remember how they suppressed workers ’performances, atrocities during the civil war, organized gangs in the 20-30s, ran to the German during World War II and atrocities in Russian and Yugoslav villages. Yes, not all, 2 to 50, and this was perfectly described by Sholokhov. Whoever has not forgotten how to read read Quiet Don, Virgin Soil Upland, Don Stories. On television, Cossacks are openly inciting Russians and those fools are mostly doing this. Only one Russian people can be an ally of the Cossacks, not the Caucasus. As soon as they finish the Russian Cossacks, there will be no place on their land. In general, they talk a lot, it would be better if they replaced migrants and all kinds of Caucasian bandits and showed themselves in business. In Rostov, whole buildings under them and registry buildings receive money for nothing from the budget. To honor, Vodolatsky was engaged in the formation of the Cossack and that is, anti-Russian heel. While the Cossacks are clearly losing the Don and only stinging, the Chechens are wiping their feet on them.

I am always interested when non-Cossacks talk about the Cossacks: - "It would be better to put things in order, here Chechens wipe their feet, etc." Before decossackization, there were 43% of us in the Don, now about 16%. By your prayers, by the way! It turns out such a parsley: - You do not love us, you destroyed us, there are more of you, but we should put things in order, not you. And you look from the outside, and then again you will say - well, the animals, these Cossacks bandits. Ah well done, oh and love to rake in the heat with your Cossack hands. Lubo!

Yes, you just thump and shout about your military merits. With your hands, the heat has never and no one has raked. You could not even keep Azov without the Russian Tsar and surfaced, and then shout about the great sitting and your heroism. Russian squeezed out of the Caucasus, where are your Terek Cossacks? Why did the Cossacks not intercede for their own in Chechnya? You are without Russia, and in particular Russian, no one. The Russians lost in civil wars, revolutions, dispossession, 2 more of your world, snot as you do not let. The Russians are trying to unite and fight back the invaders, and instead of your help, the Cossack mutton bleating about the genocide and dominance of the Russians. Who is stopping you from having large families? You were genocidal not only by Jews and Russians, but they themselves did not spare each other. They pulled on themselves colonel epaulettes and stripes with obscure regalia, we are the masters of the Don. Earn (not everyone knows a lot of good warriors) at first with deeds. They give you money from the budget so that they would thump and do nothing. And still you don’t want to oppose the Caucasian dominance. On the contrary, they protect their markets even though they have an example of Azeris when driving to Rostov. Wipe the snot and do anything.

But actually ... Samara, June 8, 1918, the day of the capture of the city by legionnaires and Komuchevists. On this very first day, the chairman of the revolutionary tribunal F. I. Vensek, the head of the housing department of the city executive committee I. I. Shtyrkin, the popular proletarian poet and playwright, locksmith A. S. Konikhin, the communist workers Abas Aleev, E I. Bakhmutov, I. G. Tezikov, a member of the youth agitation group Ya. M. Dlugolensky, an employee of the Red Army formation collegium, Schulz, the Red Guard Maria Wagner and others. He paid with his life for trying to help the wounded Red Army worker P. D. Romanov. On the same day, more than 100 captured by the Red Army and Red Guards were shot. Armed patrols, on instructions from the crowd, shot people suspected of Bolshevism right on the street. Order No. 3 of Komuch proposed that all persons suspected of participating in the Bolshevik uprising be brought to the headquarters of the city’s security guard, and 66 people were immediately arrested “on suspicion of Bolshevism” [259].

Simbirsk, July 26, 1918, a death letter from I. V. Krylov, chairman of the Revolutionary Tribunal, from prison to his wife about children: “I love them madly, but life turned out differently” [260]. He was also a Bolshevik, and he was not the only one in Simbirsk who was shot by position and party affiliation.

Kazan was captured by the Komchevtsy and legionnaires on August 6, 1918. Terror immediately swept the city. P. G. Smidovich shared his impressions: “It was a truly rampant revelry of the winners. Mass executions of not only responsible Soviet workers, but also everyone who was suspected of recognizing the Soviet government, were carried out without trial, and the corpses were lying on the street all day long ”[261]. A. Kuznetsov, an eyewitness: “On Rybnoryadskaya Street,” he recalled, “I also saw the first victims of the battle — the gloriously lost defenders of these barricades. The first - a sailor, strong, strong, arms spread wide, lying on the sidewalk. He was all disfigured. In addition to gunshot wounds (the White Guards fired explosive bullets), there were bayonet and traces of blows to the head with a butt. Part of the face pressed in, typing the butt. It was clearly visible that the wounded were brutally killed ... It was like a feast of savages, celebrating a feast on the corpses of the vanquished ”[262].

Colonel Rouenet, who joined the Bolsheviks with the soldiers, Ya. S. Sheinkman, chairman of the provincial council and committee of the RCP (b), commissar of the Tatar-Bashkir commissariat under the People’s Commissariat of the RSFSR and chairman of the Central Muslim Military College, member of the Constituent Assembly Mullanur Vakhitov, became victims of Komuchev’s terror, the head of the Bondyuzh Bolsheviks and the first chairman of the Yelabuga district Council of Deputies S. N. Gassar, the Commissioner of Justice of Kazan M. I. Mezhlauk, the representative of the Samara party organization Haya Khatae HIV, the organizers of the labor squads brothers Egor and Konstantin Petryaev, a trade union worker A. P. Komlev and many others.

-I am the Lord thy God; may you have no other gods before My face.
-Do not make yourself an idol and no image of what is in the sky above, what is on the earth below, and what is in the water below the earth. Do not worship them and do not serve them; for I am the Lord, your God, a jealous God, who punishes children for the guilt of the fathers to the third and fourth [kind], who hate Me, and doeth mercy to a thousand generations to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
-Don't pronounce the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not leave without punishment the one who pronounces His name in vain.
-Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Work six days, and do all your work; and the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God: do not do anything about it, neither your son, nor your daughter, nor your slave, nor your slave, nor your cattle, nor the stranger who is in your dwellings. For in six days he created - the Lord heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; and on the seventh day he rested. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
“Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.”
      -Dont kill.
      -Don't commit adultery.
      -Don't steal.
-Do not bear false witness against your neighbor.
-Do not wish your neighbor's house; do not desire your neighbor’s wife, nor his slave, nor his slave, nor his ox, nor his ass, anything that is thy neighbor’s.

asked the local chieftain a question, but did he know that these are Old Testament i.e. given to the Jews for execution, you understand I say that you yourself can’t explain why the commandment is Saturday, how do you explain it to young people ........ in short put the ataman at a standstill, which he said after much deliberation, - I know that there is someone up there, and the rest is not important to me

The Soviets needed order, why would they tolerate all kinds of breeding grounds for liberties. And the white generals were extremely dissatisfied with their discipline. In fact, ordinary bandits. As a result, a disciplined red army came and dispersed this rabble. There is a true deeply spiritual meaning that the evil done by their ancestors returned to the heads of their great-grandchildren and these heads almost completely deprived them.

Black boards, a synonym - boards of shame - an element of propaganda work in the USSR in the 1920s - 1930s [1]; were lists published in the newspaper. During the period of collectivization in the USSR, they were universally applied with the aim of psychological and administrative pressure on villages and villages that did not fulfill food delivery plans or did not fulfill them in full.
Listing the “black board” - as opposed to the “red board” (“board of honor”) meant imposing sanctions for perpetrators (from depriving bonuses, imposing fines by food to direct repression - deportation, forced labor, execution), and for the rest - as a measure intimidation. Both individuals and entire collectives, settlements and entire areas were entered into these lists.
In agriculture, the late 1920s - early 1930s. its application implied a refusal to supply goods or its restriction, as well as other methods of economic impact on those listed on the blackboard. Such entry was valid until the fulfillment by the "debtors" of agricultural supply plans in the required volume.

Speaking against the people, they themselves signed a sentence

Speaking against the "chosen people" you probably mean? Yes, from the content of the article it follows that it was a "gig" g from the "chosen people"!

history judged in fairness who is right, who is to blame

The instrument of just retribution was JV Stalin, who "cleaned up" the ranks of the Trotskyists. In this he was right. And guilty are the monsters who unleashed a bloody civil war, whose descendants still do not want to admit the guilt of the "chosen people."

"chosen people" is a part of any government in any country and you want our rulers to admit some kind of guilt, even now it is more convenient for them to throw the blame on Stalin, on the communists

What did the Zionist-foreign revolution of Russia bring? The military circle decided by overwhelming majority of votes: Do not recognize the Soviet power; continue the struggle with the Bolsheviks until complete victory over them. For the most part, the deputies perfectly understood that the Bolsheviks fought against the Cossacks, which always stood guard over Russian statehood, and now they are again in their way ...
