Tel Aviv actually called for the opening of the Syrian and Iranian fronts

According to Lieberman, Iran and Syria pose a greater threat to the "world community" than the Gaddafi regime: "These two regimes have killed far more of their own citizens than the Libyans. And they pose a greater danger to the world."
Avigdor Lieberman also recalled that Tehran and Damascus, like Tripoli, are responsible for the brutal suppression of demonstrations in support of democracy in these countries.
The Israeli minister did not call directly to strike at Iran and Syria, but the meaning of his speech speaks about it.
This statement took place against the background of the aggression of the Western powers (USA, Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, etc.) against Libya and the suppression of unrest in Iran and Syria.
Especially strong unrest occurs in Syria, the opposition claims dozens killed and many wounded.
What caused the statement of Israel?
Damascus and Tehran are the old enemies of Israel, they do not recognize Israel’s right to exist, calling it a "Zionist-fascist entity." During the reign of President Bush, Israel was ready to start a war with Iran, along with the United States or, even alone, to destroy its atomic facilities.
Apparently, in Tel Aviv they decided to seize the moment and not to wait while on the ruins of the Arab states, the radical Islamists will take power (for example, in Egypt) and strike preventively. This is in the spirit of Israel, to eliminate the threat before its execution. A strike against Damascus and Tehran, as part of the coalition of the Western powers, and even with internal opposition in Syria and Iran, will remove some of the threat to the existence of the Jewish state.
The only question is whether the US and other Western countries will support Tel Aviv's idea. The US is already waging three campaigns - Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, getting involved in two more wars is reckless (although it is possible that the situation inside the US has already reached the stage where it is necessary to go "all in"). European powers do not have such a warlike spirit as to get involved in two more wars. In addition, Iran and Syria have serious military potential, incomparable to Libya's, "massacring the innocents" will not work. This will be a serious war, with great losses.
