A video of one of the first flights of the Russian UAV “Eleron-3CB” appeared on the Internet.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense and the Kazan enterprise “Enix” signed an agreement worth more than 100 million rubles for the supply of 34 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles of close range.

The price of “Aileron-3SV” is about five times lower than the analogs of foreign development - Zastava complexes, which are produced in Russia under the contract concluded in 2010 between OPK Oboronprom and Israel Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd.

UAV "Eleron-3SV" - a special reconnaissance vehicle of short range.

The development is adapted for the installation of a removable modular payload: a camera, a thermal imager in a hydro-stabilized mechanism, a video camera with a 10-fold increase in a hydro-stabilized mechanism, a thermal imager with a low-level camera and other payload.

The maximum take-off weight of the device is 5,3 kilogram, the payload mass is up to one kilogram, this drone can reach speeds up to 130 kilometers per hour and is capable of rising to heights up to 4 thousand meters.

The fact is that no R&D leaves the lion's share in the development of models. And with a small amount of production, the cost of one unit is high. But, with the quantity of 1 pieces, we have a total development cost of 34 million rubles !!!
      On average, copying the performance characteristics of foreign equipment for engineers of the Soviet school at this level requires 3 to 9 months of work, while a team of no more than 30 people is involved (the task is below average complexity)
      Engineer's salary does not exceed 40000 rubles * 30 people = 1200000 rubles. * 9 months (deadline !!!) = 10800000 rubles.
      R&D spent no more than 11 million rubles.
      glider cost + starting equipment = 60 rubles.
      the cost of the control unit (remote control) = 100 000 rubles. (no more)
      the cost of intelligence equipment (computer, camera, infrared, secure transmitter) = 100 rubles.
