Chinese stealth bomber H-18 may soon become a realityRecently, an image of a developed Chinese stealth bomber H-18 with an estimated length of 28-30 m was published on the American military photo resource Military Photos, the estimated reported mil.news.sina.com.cn.

Foreign military enthusiasts believe that this unobtrusive bomber medium range equipped with two turbofans with high thrust, the maximum range of about 8000-9000 km combat radius 3500-3700 km, the maximum speed 2M, weapons load 12-15 m. The plane has an internal bomb bay 8 m in length and in different configurations can carry up to 72 small-caliber guided bombs, four strategic RC (3000 km) SDB-10 type, four supersonic YJ-12 anti-radar missiles or Orel-100 anti-radar missiles. The bomber will be able to strike at US military bases on Fr. Guam.

To improve stealth characteristics, the aircraft was designed according to the “flying wing” scheme. Colonel Wu Guohui, a professor at China’s National University of Defense, said the development of the "invisible bomber" is one of the priority programs in the military aviation. Currently, stealth bombers are being developed by the United States and Russia.

The article says that the development of the Chinese bomber is facing difficulties. It is possible that this is true, but, as a rule, practice shows that such "drawings" are always embodied in metal, as was the case with the J-31 fighter and strike drone "Sword", the information about which appeared two years ago, but last year they became a reality.

The United States has created three types of stealth bombers - F-117, A-12, B-2 and are developing a promising NGB (new generation bomber). F-117 is currently withdrawn from the US Air Force, the A-12 program was canceled in 1990, B-2 is in service. A stealth bomber being developed by Russia is still at the stage of blowing a model in a wind tunnel.

Why are you surprised? China has not forgotten how the Japanese removed their skin ...
Even if China does not fight there, but spoils the nerves of both the Japanese and the USA, they will already be reorienting there with the BV.

I read all komenty. They are basically all jokey-like Chinese only pans know how to copy and produce. But in vain !! Underestimation of the Asian dragon as well as re-evaluation is myopia and unprofessionalism! If Russia with such zeal, like China, sought to break the edge of the technical progress (including the military field), we didn’t sit in the same place ... as now. Yes, sometimes their attempts may seem ridiculous and ridiculous to someone. But they move step by step towards the strategic goals outlined by the CCP, not sobbing about their results at the corners.

Yes, no, there are only 2 pilots, the rest of the stokers - you need to throw coal into their jet furnaces.laughing
It is not for nothing that they superseded the SU-27, and they buy engines for them in Russia, they themselves have only mastered the technology of coal furnaces.
But the smoke from the coal fireboxes - no smoke screen is needed, that’s invisibility. laughing

Russia can’t even fake an average iPhone, not just do it there; the Chinese automotive industry has left the Russian industry far behind, with its basins, kamaziks, and gazelles, I’m silent about high technologies like microelectronics, communications, and so on, I don’t chase the Chinese, if there is a need they will build anything at the proper level, the mosquito of the nose will not tarnish.

right, why should we set tasks, why work, what to produce (at least copy), you can sit hanging eggs and think about what kind of Chinese are crooked, as one of my comrades said, now it’s such a time to sell is more profitable than to produce something, so In this way, the Chinese killed all Russian production, the Chinese work, make the final product, and the Rassiyans will be all the time managers, targeting telephones, but the way it is at the moment.

              commonplace example.
the most affordable Patriot is deprived of airbags, alloy wheels, heated front seats, electric rear window heating and a number of other, in general, things that are necessary in everyday life. Even a commonplace anti-lock system, the presence of which has recently been mandatory.

Great Wall Hover is equipped much more seriously: a rear view camera, a leather interior, rear parking sensors and an electric driver’s seat, coupled with a multimedia system that reads any format, can seduce anyone. And all this for the same 755 000 rubles! However, this is not the limit. A buyer who paid a fixed price for Hover 865 000 rubles gets at his disposal a car with a rear-view camera, temperature and tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, on-board computer and, most importantly, with an automatic transmission.

In 2008, 14 thousand Great Wall cars were sold in Russia

In 2012, Great Wall automobile sales in Russia amounted to 14 units, which is 373% higher than in 212. At the same time, global sales increased by 2011%, according to the press service of the manufacturer.

In the same iPhone, American-made software, an Anglo-American processor (developed by Apple under a license from the British company ARM), a processor and a screen are made in South Korea - only final assembly in China. Therefore, the salaries of Apple engineers are radically different from the salaries of Chinese workers in the assembly of iPhones. And add to that the yards of dollars Apple spends on developing and releasing each gadget. Few can afford it. Russia needs to find its niche in global commodity production. Here is the task.

Be realistic! The Chinese car industry is beautiful on paper and in advertising brochures! I had communication with many Chinese cars in terms of repairs. Many super options that often do not survive 50 thousand km! The bodies are weak (and what do you want if the parts are stamped out of straightened Lukoil oil barrels!).
Parts are crooked, poorly painted, often rusty when already assembled!
And most importantly: UNLIKE CARS OF WORLD MANUFACTURERS, AUTO CHINA BREAKS UNSYSTEMICALLY! That is, for the majority of "normal" cars it is approximately known at what value of operating time a failure of any unit or part occurs. This allows you to purchase the part you need in advance shortly before its failure. For example, for Zhiguli to 100 thousand km it is necessary to buy a pump, as it will soon be covered, and by 150 thousand km it is necessary to prepare to replace the piston rings ...
In the case of the Chinese, the situation is different. Anything can break at any time. It breaks even what should not break in principle ... This suggests that the production culture is absent as a concept ...

First read carefully what I buy Chinese and what not. All electronics in China grew out of Western industries, which in Russia has never been and never will be in such a volume. But it is not necessary to steal technology through the road.

Taiwan yes, one of the leaders in world electronics.

            I answer in more detail.
The phones I have collected are in South Korea and in China, but this is Motorola. The TV part in China, part in Korea, part in Kaliningrad, but these are all well-known brands. Fotik assembled in Japan. Laptops are Chinese, but they are Sony. So I have nothing fake or Chinese brands. Ah yes, Lenovo's working laptop, but this is the choice of my company.
I forgot the clothes made in Vietnam and Cambodia - especially in Turkey, for some reason I like the quality better than the ones made in China. My shoes and outerwear (except for sports and leisure) are European and I don’t fly anywhere behind her, everything is in stores in Russia. And what is not European, I wrote above.

Do you ride in Chinese ...? Drive your health if life is inexpensive. I'm used to other producing countries. And all the beautiful pictures of Chinese salons .... in fact, cause only a flinch when you start to feel, look closely, etc. And I don’t need Chinese "achievements".

I am writing to you that there is nothing worthwhile and "purely" Chinese in nature for me, and not only for me. What does it matter to me - who collects it? Quality is important to me. And quality depends on production control, not on whether it is China or not. But China is already doing a lot of things on its "own" initiative, so that's where the trouble is. And what they collect for someone is not China's achievement. In my opinion, the fear of the growing power of China (including the military one) is generated partly by ignorance (misunderstanding of mentality, ignorance of history), partly by the feeling of weakness of their own state. Remember, the problems of relations with China always occur during the "troubled times" in Russia. can be clarified, if direct diplomatic contact is lost (and in all such cases Moscow is to blame). The reaction of China can be described as, sorry, the behavior of a scandalous, lonely, communal neighbor, who rightly believes that the best defense is an attack, and in In principle, such conflicts, except for "hassle", for Russia, did not have any serious consequences. China's geopolitical interests have a clearly pronounced southern, southeastern direction, replete with vast water areas. The main "instrument" of policy on which, at present, is AUG. Consequently, China will be, both to create our own AUG, and to look for ways to deal with foreign. Based on the above, one should expect The appearance in China of a SCRC with a super / hypersonic missile, using a platform as a carrier, according to the MGH, as it were, intermediate between our Su-24 and Tu-22, made according to "Stealth" technology.

In general, I agree, this is what the Chinese themselves say: "Ma Dinshen reports that the most important tasks for Chinese strategic bombers are to fight enemy aircraft carriers and deliver pinpoint nuclear strikes against ground targets."

But here I disagree. Communist China is fundamentally different from "old" China. So historical analogies do not work here.

Well, why, dear Odysseus. As an example, consider the "mess" over Domansky Island, because it was a consequence of the crisis. The beginning of which was the 20th Congress of the CPSU with its "revelations", and for the entire socialist camp (China inclusively) it was presented as "betrayal strategies for building communism. "Later, relations only worsened, the last straw was the actions (at UN meetings) of Moscow to remove Beijing from" bilateral "(Washington-Moscow) discussions on nuclear issues, in the winter of 68. As a result, the Soviet ambassador to the PRC received a number of notes, without bringing an explanation, he was recalled to Moscow, and a month later it began.

The speed of 2 M in the scheme of a flying wing looks fantastic. Existing images also do not provide any real information and are intended to mask reality. Actually, we can only say that work on the new bomber has been going on for a long time.
The main problem has already been voiced by the engines. It is possible to copy and upgrade the NK-32, but to do this is difficult, we ourselves cannot really resume their production. You can try to adapt the WS-20 developed for the J-15, then, if you believe, the Chinese bomber may enter service sometime by 2020.
PS However, even more interesting than the H-8 is the second of the promising Chinese bombers, the semi-mythical "aerospace" H-10.

The article said that the development of the Chinese bomber is facing difficulties.
The first of them is the lack of a prototype for copying "in metal". For some reason, the photographs are not completely copied. Especially the insides.

You know ... we had a break when we were 20 ... when there was no time for planes. And this is already the 5th flight instance. Three more are going. True, one will go to "breaking". It seems to me that in 3-4 years just the same will start deliveries to the Air Force. For trial operation.

Not just a lot ... They are already in second place (after the United States) in military and dual-purpose R&D costs. And in terms of the total size of the military budget, they threw us from second place back in 2011

Yes, a speed of 2 M with two Chinese engines for a machine with a bomb load of 25 tons - I won’t believe it. Moreover, rumors about the transfer of Tu-22M3 production to China, which have not been confirmed, have recently been circulated. This suggests that they themselves cannot even make such a bomber.

Nope, I don’t go, but I could ride in Chinese and Russian cars, heaven and earth. [/ Quot
In vain you are so dear Gooch v.2. It seems to me that I would still correlate the Russian auto industry with the concept - Sky. And the Chinese - Earth, it sounds paradoxical. By the nature of my work, I am closely associated with auto repair. All but VAZs. Frankly, the global trend is that modern foreign cars, almost all, are designed for 5 years of operation. Further - just a nightmare for the owner. Investments in repairs are very large. And all because - megazavods need our cabbage gentlemen. Earlier Mercedes was the standard of reliability. Cars went for decades. What did the factory have from this? Nothing. I sold the car and forgot. At best, pads and candles. And now ? Take for example the GL -500. (X164 bodywork). Not a car, but a money collector. to 100.000 km it can be repaired all at once. Even a wealthy man, this machine makes you wonder how wealthy he is. About all kinds of Honda and other Citroen, I generally keep quiet. for 30 km this climbs out; no guarantee helps. About China is a separate song. Cardboard cars made of rice steel. Forgive me, the owners of these cars. wheelbarrows are made really from raw materials. Strength is not calculated in any way. Machines crumble absolutely unsystematically. Motors under license. Cat's power. Automatic machines - DP 000 from Pejo. The worst transmission in the world. Who in the subject - will understand. Worse only 0T6 that put on the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra in the latest bodies. 40% of these boxes fly into the trash in the first 100 years of operation. Even Toyota’s reliability standard - for 3 Kruzaks they began to put boxes from Tuaregs, whose resource does not exceed 200 km. So it’s not worth scolding all of ours, and exalt all imported, and even more so Chinese. Our cars are miserable not out of malice - but out of poor mind. But foreign cars are just the opposite. I do not advertise our cars. I ride a foreign car myself, and I will never transfer to AvtoVAZ products. But choosing between a Chinese and a Vaz, I would choose a Vaz. At least because the parts are closer. Because on our bodies welded points are put more often. But most importantly, 150 bad Chinese fighters will still trample one Su-000 no matter how good it is. Suppose that 20 of them fall. The bad news is that for many years we have not given birth to anything new. Using the backlog of the USSR. And the Chinese are still moving forward. And the day will come when ALL of their equipment and the army will be 27 times better than ours. And then I think they will come to our Far East. Just to hang signs on houses with street names - from Russian to Chinese. (I changed the brand names a little. Suddenly the moderators will see indirect ads and delete them.)
