ORSIS Biathlon Rifle Presented

28
During the meeting of the Coaching Council, organized by the Russian Biathlon Union 26 in September in the city of Tchaikovsky, PROMTECHNOLOGY (ORSIS trademark) presented new biathlon rifles.

The presentation brought together more than 50 trainers from all regions of Russia. ORSIS BIATHLON biathlon rifles were shown to participants in two versions: with stocks made of aluminum alloy and laminate (special armory plywood).

The trainers expressed great interest in the novelties, asked questions related to the design features of the models and shooting in the cold. The presented samples successfully passed a series of tests, including shooting at -13 ° C. The results of the shooting convinced the participants in the accuracy of the ORSIS trunks both at positive and at negative temperatures. Of the advantages of the gathering, they noted, among other things, a simple procedure for replacing the barrel and a convenient recharging scheme.

The presented aluminum alloy bed has the greatest number of adjustments to adapt its geometry to the anthropometric data of the athlete. The weight of the box with the rifle is as close as possible to the minimum allowable threshold IBU (3,5 kg).

At the end of the presentation, preliminary prices for future rifle samples in various versions were announced. More than competitive prices were approved and aroused even more interest among participants.

The project to create a new biathlon rifle began in the 2011 year and is still ongoing. In the future, the modification of the rifle ORSIS BIATHLON will be adapted for hunters. In this design, it will be different in the lodge, mounting the telescopic sight on the Picatinny rail (Weaver), as well as on the hunting trunk will be installed external sights (front and rear sights), more massive trunk.

Yes, the rifles are good, not just the Izhmash made by die-cutting punching, if only steel for our trunks would be something super, it would be super!

Well, as for the licked ones, you float finely, the engineering (technological in many manufacturing parameters) and design idea is ours, we have metal and more abruptly, that's just the problem, it's more expensive. So your remark is in the wrong "steppe".

trunks and blanks for trunks ORSIS, buys on the hill.

        Komrad correctly writes.
        Whose rifle will anyone have?
If someone needs something ... This slogan can be used to describe this "Orsis knight's move"
Apparently, the development of the Izhevsk rifle "Biathlon" BI-7-3 and BI-7-4 is categorically unsuitable

For example, the Norwegian company Larsen-Biathlon, the official distributor of Izhevsk weapons for biathlon in Europe, sells the BI-7-3 rifle for about $ 2500, the cost of Anschutz-Fortner in the company's price list is $ 4500.

        Paradox-on-paradox.

It’s the same as trying to shove some kind of Krighof or Heim instead of the native tulka before the old hunter, the weapon may be better, but you need to get used to it and look in different conditions.

Well, it’s good that they presented it, of course. The prices will again be "competitive", we don’t spare money for sports ...
But there is one BUT, all ORSIS products have a price tag similar to competitors from the West. It is justified by the fact that ORSIS purchases barrels and blanks for barrels on a hill. That is, sometimes buying a rifle of the same level as ORSIS is cheaper than support, probably, a domestic manufacturer.
You don’t have to run far for examples, just compare the ORSIS T-5000 Sako TRG-42 rifle in the same calibers ... ORSIS is more expensive. Not many, but more expensive.

A biathlon rifle is not just a utilitarian thing, it carries a large advertising burden, like an athlete’s suit, and it’s good that it will have the logo of a Russian company, and not a German Anschutz, for example ... Not because Anschutz is a bad weapon, vice versa, weapons excellent ... But because there is a competitive weapon of Russian companies that is not inferior to world standards ... By the way, biathlon is such a discipline where the quality of equipment and weapons is no less important than the physical condition of an athlete ... And an athlete is reliable in the reliability of his weapon still have to be 100% sure ...

It would not be superfluous for the author to lay out the comparative performance characteristics of the Russian device in comparison with the "Anshutz" recognized in biathlon. Then there would be something to talk about. And so - empty fanfare ,,,

Orsis gives 0,3-0,5 MOA. Saco gives 0,6-0,8 MOA. Therefore, an orchis is more expensive.

And for me it is better to have a good sniper in every army unit!
The Olympics is of course very nicely, but now a good sniper is becoming more relevant than a good athlete and seeing is just around the corner ...........
