In the fall of 1949, an unusual helicopter took off in Moscow. A unique technical solution, which all the world's leading aircraft designers unsuccessfully fought during the first half of the twentieth century, was only managed by him - the outstanding Soviet designer Nikolai Ilyich Kamov.
Under his leadership, a whole family of helicopters of various purposes was created: from the multifunctional Ka-15 to the best combat helicopter Ka-50 "Black Shark".
