China began to build its Mistral

49

Recently published photographs on the Internet indicate that China probably began construction of the 081 Type Universal Airborne Helicopter Carrier, the military expert Yin Chuo said in an interview with Beijing television.

And earlier there were reports that China is building the first ship with a displacement of about 20 thousand tons and capable of carrying 12 transport and combat helicopters, the design is similar to the French amphibious assault carrier Mistral. The expert noted that China can build on six UDC Type 071 and Type 081 (total 12 units).

The expert also suggested that a large landing ship dock could be created, capable of taking aboard ships of the Bison type, acquired in Ukraine. But such a BDK should be with a displacement in the region of 40-60 thousand tons, the expert said.

        Perhaps the French do not have to worry laughing Apparently the Chinese Mistral is a regular bulk tanker modified into a dock ship. Mistrata is more technologically advanced.

          The Mistral vessel is a self-propelled barge. The deal was concluded by the Medvedev-Serdyukov gang so that the Marseilles shipyards of their St. Petersburg friend, who has a controlling stake in these shipyards, would not bend. to make a self-propelled barge? In China, they shoot for bribes, so they make barges at home.

          China is a country that looks to the future, which is why it was puzzled by ship docks (DKVP). There are at least two reasons: a) a good headquarters ship is needed for operational naval connections (fleet controllers); b) it is a powerful landing-landing weapon capable of conducting over-the-horizon landing of the first landing wave in the rear of the enemy’s PDO. So there is something to think about in terms of the marine aspirations of the Middle Kingdom. In any case, this is a potential threat to the countries of the region and not only!

      The words of the expert cause distrust.
      The Zubr's width is more than 25 m versus 14,3 m for the LCAC-type landing craft, not to mention the smaller CTMs.
      Project 12061 "Murena" was considered too large for the Russian Mistrals. And this is with a width of 14,6 m.

        And for this reason. The main weapons of the DKVP are landing helicopters and turntables of fire support. And a landing-landing vehicle (1-2 units) is taken to the docking chamber for delivering equipment to the shore, which in its weight and size characteristics cannot be delivered ashore using the helicopter's external sling. This is 1's.
        Secondly, if this is an Anadyr-class ship, then it has 2 helicopters and a large dock for lighters. If the scheme is "Mistral", then there will be a large hangar for helicopters and a small dock-camera for 2-1 platforms on an air cushion, or a cavern.
        You can think of another, but then it will be a different ship.

    I heard from acquaintances of a Chinese company of an electronics manufacturer that very raw products enter the market, which are then brought to the proper look. What needs to be tested and finalized in the laboratories is that they will be finalized by the buyer during operation. If ships use the same approach , then do not swim for the buoys.

And secondly, they have an industry capable of restoring and building ships of the Far East 2-40 thousand tons, which we can only do at Sevmash, and even then with difficulty.

    To the topic of the article, I will give a piece of text that speak the staff language, they will understand what kind of document:
    "Subsequently, in D6-D7, the enemy is able to conduct a WMD in the region of Southern Primorye.
    The probable design of the WMDO may include concentration, landing of troops and loading of equipment on ships, formation of landing troops in the Zhoushan archipelago from D-3 to D-1. Sea crossing is possible through the Korea Strait by a route that is as close as possible to the DPRK coast (outside territorial waters) in a marching order, providing independently the following DesO 1 and 2 echelons,
    The enemy will most likely strive to ensure the combat stability of DesO at the passage by sea and in the landing area, by inflicting defeat on the strike forces of the fleet (in D3) and the defense of DesO by direct guard forces in cooperation with the operational cover forces.
    The landing of the main landing force group should be expected in D 6 on the Krasny Utes cape — Boysman’s bay in a combined way — the airborne assault echelon — on floating equipment, 1, 2 echelons by the shore-to-shore method. At the same time, sea amphibious landing will be carried out on sites in the region Cape Klerk, Cape Nerpa-River Poyma-Baklan Bay, helicopter - to the Bamburovo area.
    It is possible that the demonstration landing in Perevoznaya Bay.
    The landing of the second echelon is possible in a day at the same landing sites.
    The beginning of the fire destruction of PDO objects by successive air strikes and, it is possible, by artillery, can be expected on the second or third day of the VNO. The enemy is able to attract up to two or three OKOP, 6-8 warships from the direct guard forces to provide fire support to the landing forces on the coast from the sea.
    In order to mislead the command of the Pacific Fleet regarding the DesO transition route, the enemy is able to form a false DesO, making his transition through the central part of the Sea of Japan.
    To implement the plan, the enemy is able to create and in operational formation have:
    a group of submarine forces for operations on maritime communications 9 dpl;
    a group of strike forces (forces for operational landing cover) - up to 10 warships (em-8, pla-2), up to 20 bomber aircraft (Khun-6);
    a group of landing forces of up to 77 warships (em-10, pl-2, sc-10, DK-55), two brigades of marine corps, personnel - up to 10 thousand people, 184 units of armored vehicles, field artillery guns and mortars - 324, ATGM - 120.
    Grouping to maintain a favorable regime in the Sea of Japan - up to 13 warships (em-4, pl-7, rzk-2).
    Against the forces and objects of the fleet, the enemy will be able to engage up to 10 DRGs (up to 100 people).
    It is possible that active minefields can be set up at sea lanes and at Pacific Fleet basing centers; in all, up to 5 minutes can be set for D-110.
    With the beginning and during the course of hostilities, an adversary’s naval group is capable of deploying up to 120 anti-ship missiles in the strength and facilities of the fleet; disrupt maritime traffic east of Primorye on a stretch of up to 300 miles by using more than 160 torpedoes on ships. On the first day of the enemy’s air force, they can make up to 100 BSA sorties and hit missiles and aircraft with up to 10 coastal (ground) Pacific Fleet targets.
    At the initial ethane, military operations will be conducted using conventional means of destruction while maintaining the nuclear weapons of the armed forces of China in constant readiness for combat use.

    It was a few years ago. The content of a new, analogous papyrus is, of course, unknown to me. But something suggests that it reflects the increase in the combat capabilities of the "neighbor" and, alas, not in our favor.
