The specialists of the Bauman University have developed a light assault vehicle for the armed forces. The new car is able to move at high speed over rough terrain and overcome various obstacles.
Due to its relatively low mass, the machines will be able to be used for delivering surprise attacks on the enemy, conducting reconnaissance and evacuation of the wounded.
A unique combination of functionality, mobility and survivability, allows tactical combat units and special forces to get fast deployment time and high maneuverability when using a light assault vehicle.
The new car can be a flexible 4 × 4 platform, which can be easily and quickly transformed to meet the specific needs of each client, while maintaining the flexibility for subsequent changes.
This assault vehicle is still existing in a single copy.
Such light assault vehicles can be quickly delivered to anywhere in the world, the small size allows the vehicle to be placed in Mi-8 type helicopters and transported also on an external suspension. Machines of this type have long been interested in the Russian Air Force. Earlier, attempts were made to create a lightweight buggy on the nodes of the NIWA car, and the purchase of Israeli ZIBAR assault vehicles was also planned.
