Weirdness with the presence of American meat on the Russian shelves
Not later than in the last decade of July, the Rosselkhoznadzor reported that the Russian side was ready to discuss with the American side the options for returning American meat (turkey, beef and pork) to the market of the Russian Federation. A spokesman for the Rosselkhoznadzor, Mr. Alekseenko, noted that the path for American meat would open to Russia only when the American side would provide documents guaranteeing product safety and the absence of additives in it that are prohibited in our country.
Negotiations with the United States continued on this issue for several months, and Alfred Almanza, a representative of the Pacific Ocean Ministry of Agriculture, in a telephone conversation with the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergey Dankvert, said that the United States was ready to “think over” Russia's proposals.
An interesting person is Almanza ... It turns out that before our Rosselkhoznadzor, under the vigilant control of the chief sanitary doctor, blocked access to the Russian market for American meat suppliers, the American side didn’t bother to provide documents confirming the quality of products. And we have this meat in various forms, forgive me, hawali, without even remembering that it can contain some kind of steroid ractopamine or other rubbish.
True, questions here can be addressed not only to representatives of the American Ministry of Agriculture (after all, if only they could sell more and more expensively), but also to our supervisory authorities. It turns out that if the “Magnitsky law” had not been adopted in the United States at the time and other acts of “democratic friendship” against the Russian Federation had not been demonstrated, then we would continue to eat for lunch semi-finished products of “meat”, which God knows Satisfied the star-striped maker. Yes, and the more saturated these semi-finished products we eat now is also a question! On the one hand, you seem to realize that Gennady Onishchenko along with Sergey Dankvert care about you, but, as they say, they do not leave vague doubts ...
But back to our American "friends" and "our answer." Whether Obama with his gay protection against Russia overdid it, or someone from the Rosselkhoznadzor once again revised the performance of Lady Gaga at a concert in a dress made of beef, which (Lady Gaga, and not beef) is now also voting against Russian law banning gay propaganda, but the fact remains: representatives of the Russian agricultural supervisory authority once again decided to resent the state of American meat. This time, representatives of the service of Sergey Dankvert found strains of E. coli in the boneless veal of American production, and attention: they decided to withdraw a large batch of this meat from the Russian retail chains.
A somewhat strange turn of events, especially after the representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor themselves, that there is no American beef (veal) in one form or another on the Russian shelves for several months (since February), and that talks about its return with the US Department of Agriculture are on the phone. It turns out that such meat in the stores was not easy, but it was also in large quantities, since it was precisely the large lots that were gathered from the retail chains. Or, the mentioned boneless veal was still not included in the list of banned sorts of meat coming from the US ... And how much more such “ractopamine” raw material is in Russia and is quietly sold through large retail chains? .. Another question.
The American side was forced to respond to the new claims of the Rosselkhoznadzor and sanitary services, and not by telephone at all. Gentlemen from the US Department of Agriculture Development said that Russia is again trying to violate the rules of the WTO game (a new lever for our "partners"). At the same time, in the USA they stated that E. coli strains are present in almost any meat that goes on the shelves, however, this stick is not at all dangerous for a person if he, of course, is not going to eat beef and pork with raw materials. Like, cook meat, and the whole business ... Yeah, schazz! - our Rosselkhoznadzor answers them. Not for that sticks were found to take and cook like that ... Especially since the stars of your show business are so uncooked in beef and walk ...
In general, the Rosselkhoznadzor argues that it can respond to any political byak from abroad asymmetrically. The main thing is that such asymmetry be realized not only on paper, but also in reality, but it turns out that they were banned in the newspapers, but they were laid out on the shelves ...
