It is not profitable for the state to re-equip troops with new models.Director of "Izhevsk Machine-Building Plant", where mass production weapon under the Kalashnikov brand, Vladimir Grodetsky said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that state tests of the new 200 series, created on the basis of AK-74M, will begin next year. At the same time, he added that small arms are the most conservative - a new generation appears every few decades. About the new machine is still little known. In 2009, the CEO of Rosoboronexport, Anatoly Isaikin, said that the new model would replace the Kalashnikovs of the “100th series”. In particular, the weapon of the 200 series will differ from the previous generation of machine guns on the 40-50 percent in terms of its effectiveness. According to Grodetsky, a bar for attaching additional equipment appeared - sights, laser designators and a flashlight.

True, all these "bells and whistles", according to experts not related to labor relations with "Izhmash", do not greatly affect the efficiency and accuracy of shooting. In Russia, there have long been small arms, which by these parameters surpasses the Kalashnikov-AEK-971, AN-94 "Abakan", "Vul" and "Val" machines created at TsNIItochmash. True, none of them serially went to the troops, only individual parties were put into service in reconnaissance and special units. It is not profitable for the state and the army to re-equip troops with new models, it costs too much. In addition, there are so many Kalashnikovs in warehouses that it is enough not for just one war. There is one more equally important reason. More complex weapons than AK, requires a professional attitude. And where to get these fighters? So there is a "Kalash" with different devices in the arsenal of our army 50 more than years.

So what? That's the point! In the event of a global war, all these expensive toys will quickly become useless props.

You guys are wrong to her! Every year Izhmash has a new model and if you buy them all, then you will not get any money! The necessary weapons are bought in small batches!

Now 2019 29.01.2018/12/74 adopted the AK-XNUMX. There is a picatinny rail, there is a slide delay, you can now fight left-handed people, you can use foreign rifle grenades and other buns. In general, the soldiers received a wonderful weapon ... I do not see any fundamental differences from the AK-XNUMX. My opinion is my opinion ... soldier
