The sale of the aforementioned buildings took place in 2011, and the year before the entire Tavrichesky complex was transferred to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. One gets the impression that the representatives of the Federal Property Management Agency of the Northern Capital "were strongly urged" to carry out such a transfer - well, just as they asked to transfer the "golden" acres of land on the Black Sea coast near Anapa. And if the land of Anapa was supposedly set aside for the construction of some more than strange coastal radar, then why did the main military department need a palace complex in 2010? The investigation established that the land and buildings of the Tauride complex were sold for a total amount of 376 million rubles. At the same time, the investigation has no clarity either about why 376 millions, or about where the money went. Called expert appraisers said that if the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense could sell these buildings along with the land under them, then it is no cheaper than 451 million rubles. In a strange way, the invited experts somehow lose sight of the fact that the Tavrichesky Palace, with all its annexes, is still a work of art, part of the Russian cultural heritage, and therefore cannot be measured by any millions or billions. But the representatives of the aforementioned Department, like the experts, have a completely different opinion.
As a result, the case of the illegal sale of buildings on the territory of the Tavrichesky Palace was decided to "hem" into one production with other "achievements" of the Ministry of Defense property department with "defense services" and other companies. And if we sum up the total damage that the gentlemen from the past leadership of this Department have inflicted on the country, then truly phenomenal figures emerge. For all these illegal sales of land, outbuildings, guards, buildings of institutes, laboratories, barracks, hangars, strange relocations of military universities and academies do not discern the non-criminal work of the Property Department and its “queen”.
