Syrian terrorists have different words
So begins Ramadan ...
In Syria, the Muslim holy month of Ramadan begins, and the so-called “Syrian opposition” put forward a seemingly constructive proposal to declare a truce for his term in the city of Homs, where the army is crowding the terrorists in their last strongholds - in the Old City area. But, as always, in the case of pseudo-revolutionaries, things dramatically differ from the words.
8 July in a densely populated residential area of Homs, Akram, thundered two explosions. As a result of the terrorist attack, organized with the help of two mined cars, four people died, more than 40 suffered.
On the same day, several terrorist attacks took place at once in Damascus.
In the area of Kafr Sousse, gunmen laid an explosive device in a car, as a result of which its owner was seriously injured.
Another car was blown up almost in the center of the capital - near the President’s Bridge. Three citizens were injured.
In the Al-Vurud district of Damascus, an explosion also thundered - an improvised device was laid under the bottom of one of the cars. Three people injured. Residential houses, shops, cars were damaged, which were located near the site of the terrorist act.
Another act of terrorism was prevented by law enforcement. In the Malki area, near one of the cafes, bandits laid an explosive device. He was able to detect and neutralize.
So in Syria begins Ramadan - the holy month, in which, it happened in stories Middle East - sometimes stopped the war.
But for terrorists who call themselves “the opposition,” there truly is nothing sacred.
Life goes on…
Despite the attacks, life in Syria continues. A plenum of the Arab Socialist Renaissance Party took place in Damascus, headed by the president of the UAR, the regional secretary of the party, Bashar Al-Assad. In his report, he made an analysis of the situation in the country and said that one of the most important tasks in the near future would be to strengthen the national unity of Syrian society. He also stressed the need for self-criticism in the party in order to overcome shortcomings in work.
Referring to the work of the party, Bashar Al-Asad said that a closer link between the PASV and the people, public organizations and trade unions is necessary. PASV should also strengthen the traditions of voluntary social activities. He stressed that the party remains committed to the interests of wide sections of society - workers, peasants and artisans.
After a broad discussion at the plenum, a new Syrian regional party leadership was elected. (Let me remind you that PASV is in many Arab countries, and its Syrian branch is only one part of it, so we are talking about regional leadership).
Many countries continue to express solidarity with Syria. For the most part, these are the states that themselves oppose the colonialism of the United States and the West.
Thus, in Pyongyang, a meeting of the DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Yi Chun with the acting Syrian ambassador was held. During this meeting, the DPRK Foreign Minister confirmed that his country fully supports Syria, its army and leadership in opposing foreign plans. He expressed confidence that the United States, Israel and their allies will not be able to break Syria, and praised the victories of the Syrian army over the terrorists.
Iran has also confirmed its solidarity with Syria. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Aracchi said in an interview with the Iranian news agency that his country has always advocated and is in favor of resolving the Syrian crisis on the basis of a dialogue, without any foreign intervention. He stressed that Western countries, led by the United States, want to destroy Syria as a state and stir up interfaith strife in Syrian society, and condemned those who call for arming the so-called "Syrian opposition."
Interesting information was provided by the representative of Lebanon, the head of the Movement of the People, Najah Wakim, who also expressed solidarity with Syria. In an interview with the Lebanese television channel "NBN", he called to recall the recent history. So, the campaign against Syria began with the 2002 year. Then the Arab League summit took place in Beirut, at which the Palestinian issue was discussed, in particular. Some of the summit participants wanted to remove from its final resolution one of the central issues for all Arabs - namely, the right of Palestinians to return to their homeland. Then Bashar Al-Assad and former Lebanese President Emil Lahoud said firmly that they would not support the resolution of the League of Arab States, which would not talk about Palestinian rights. Since then, Syria and exposed to external pressure. So, Vakim recalled, Damascus was visited by delegations from the Gulf countries and tried to set conditions for Syria: stop supporting Palestinians and resistance forces to Zionism in Lebanon, as well as break off relations with friendly Iran. Syria did not give in to this pressure and talked about its right to conduct its foreign policy on its own. This was the reason for the current fierce aggression against the SAR - thus, the country is being punished for its patriotic position.
In the Palestinian city of Nazareth, in Yemen, in Venezuela, actions of solidarity with Syria took place, in which both the representatives of the Syrian community and the citizens of these countries opposed the policies of the United States and the West, who are seeking to arm the terrorists.
And again about the chemical weapons
A few days ago, in a relatively calm area, in the coastal zone of Syria, in the city of Baniyas, law enforcement authorities discovered a large warehouse of terrorists. On it was an 281 barrel of hazardous chemicals. The Syrian authorities are conducting an additional investigation into this fact. Probably, the “opposition” bandits were preparing another provocation related to chemical weapons.
Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar Al-Jafari, speaking at the UN meeting, stressed that these chemicals seized by the Syrian authorities from the rebels are enough to destroy an entire city or even a country.
Al-Jafari also recalled a case in which several people associated with Al-Qaida were detained in Turkey who were transporting a kilogram of sarin from Libya on board an ordinary 2 passenger aircraft.
He recalled that Syria had asked the UN to investigate the incident, when 19 March in the suburb of Aleppo Khan Al-Asal militants used a projectile with a chemical warhead.
The Syrian side was supported by Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin. He made an unexpected statement that confirms the words of the Syrian diplomat about the incident in the province of Aleppo.
“I have just handed over to the Secretary General the results of the analysis of samples taken on the spot by Russian experts at Khan Al-Asal,” said Vitaly Churkin. Russian laboratories certified by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, conducted an analysis of samples taken in the area. Experts found that the projectile used by Syrian militants contained poisonous sarin gas.
“The results of the analysis clearly show that the charge was of non-industrial production and contains sarin,” he said. “The absence of a chemical stabilizer in samples of detected toxic substances indicates that they were produced relatively recently.
Churkin added that the militants launched an unguided Bashir-19-type projectile on March 3, as a result of which 26 people were killed and 86 injured. It was a projectile non-industrial production - hexogen, used in it as a bursting charge, is not used in regular ammunition.
The representative of the Russian Federation to the UN concluded: there is every reason to believe that the militants of the armed "opposition" used chemical weapons.
It remains to emphasize - the United States announced the decision to expand the supply of weapons to militants after dubious "samples" taken from nowhere and by unknown - but certainly not specialists. Russia provided evidence that terrorists used chemical weapons against civilians - samples were taken according to the rules and analyzed in relevant laboratories. Whose voice will be weightier - based on dubious or real evidence?
