The rocket with GLONASS satellites exploded immediately after launch

221
The “Proton-M” launch vehicle with three satellites of the domestic jamming system did not leave the limits of the Baikonur cosmodrome, falling to the ground approximately 15 seconds after launch. The module was supposed to deliver satellites into orbit for the first time since 2011.

The launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with a DM-03 accelerating unit and three Glonass-M navigation satellite vehicles was broadcast live on Russia 24 channel and on the Roskosmos website. At about the tenth second of the flight, the rocket suddenly changed its trajectory, caught fire, fell into the territory of the Baikonur cosmodrome and exploded.

One of the probable reasons is the loss of stability: the rocket bent down first to one, then to the other side. This could happen either due to a failure of the control system, or due to a problem with the combustion chambers in the engine.

It is worth recalling that in 2010 a similar incident occurred. However, the cause of the fall of the launch vehicle was different: then 03 was accidentally filled with tons of excess oxidizer in the DM-1,5 upper stage.

Currently, 23 active satellites are used for navigation, 4 is still in reserve, and 1 is in maintenance. On the eve it became known that one of the active devices, for some unknown reason, stopped transmitting a signal to Earth.

Everything is possible with corruption in Roskosmos. Only one question is how Unions with astronauts are not falling yet
? God forbid, of course, the astronauts perish, but dropping a proton is already a tradition.

            It's a shame to tears .....

and so many thoughts at once about the Queen and about those who LIVED THAT MATTER - the COSMONAUTICS that they did ...

I put myself in the place of Rogozin, Putin - of course we don’t know much, but even what we see and understand induces a sense of HERITITY, what needs to be done, in this mess, in this vacuum of specialists ????

            - do not chop with checkers (the rocket has already chopped us all)
            - sit down and think (no matter how ridiculous it seemed)
            - determine the circle of those people without whom our today's RUSSIAN cosmonautics simply cannot exist, because we simply do not have others.
            - choose the best from these people and give them a CREATIVE BLANCH (in making decisions, actions, directions, etc.)

It's a shame to tears ..... BUT WITHOUT DAMAGES THERE ARE NO NEW VICTORIES !!!!

I think it’s time for the FSB to initiate a case of sabotage on the basis of facts; the history of astronautics does not know so many accidents. Here, personnel shifts did not give effect, enough half measures to correct the situation, someone (and not one) should bear real responsibility in places with a harsh climate.

Personnel shifts IMHO and will not give results as long as the REAL perpetrators of the accidents will not be punished. Not looking at past merits, influential relatives, etc. The whole trouble of this country, IMHO, is that, starting from a certain limit, leaders become virtually beyond jurisdiction, no matter what they do. But the ability to command, without being responsible for the consequences of his leadership under ANY social system, is capable of bringing anything but corruption ...

Even if there is no sabotage, then for such negligence it is necessary to punish not just the deprivation of the premium, but so that it is no longer habitual, treat work like that! The only problem is that the salaries of the space industry employees are such that they are not afraid of dismissal either, he worked for himself at TsSKB, there are really pensioners and very young people who come for experience for a year and dump them .. There is something that needs to be changed dramatically.
And at the expense of accidents, it does not look like a normal equipment failure, it is known that all missile systems are duplicated in case of failure, so the probability of a missed launch is very small, there is clearly something wrong ... all the more so such an important strategic launch with Glonass and there are so many emergency ones. .

Soon, insurers will stop insuring PROTONS.

It is unlikely, but prices will rise. The percentage of successful launches of "Proton" before today's failure was 91 percent.

            Price
The total cost of Proton-M with the DM or Briz-M block in mid-2011 was about 2,4 billion rubles (about $ 80 million or € 58 million). This price consists of the Proton launch vehicle itself (1,348 billion), Briz-M RB (420 million), component delivery to Baikonur (20 million) and a range of launch services (570 million).

Criticism of the Proton launch vehicle

The most frequently criticized aspect of the Proton launch vehicle design is its fuel: asymmetric dimethylhydrazine (UDMH or heptyl) is a highly toxic carcinogen that requires special care. The defeat of UDMH is possible as a result of inhalation of vapors or penetration through the skin. With mild poisoning, the symptoms can be headache, nausea, dizziness, increased blood pressure, etc. In this case, a full recovery is possible 5-6 days after poisoning. With more severe poisoning, recovery can take two weeks. In the worst case, heptyl poisoning can cause hours-long cramps, loss of consciousness, pulmonary edema, etc., and as a result lead to death.

In addition, when the spent steps fall, the remaining fuel (in the case of Proton-K more than two tons of heptyl) contaminates the soil at the fall site, which requires costly measures to clean the territory: when penetrated into the soil, heptyl, due to its stability, remains long time and is able to migrate along the soil profile. In this case, the affected vegetation takes the form of “boiled” greens. The oxidizing agent used in the Proton launch vehicle, nitrogen tetroxide, can contaminate soil and water with nitrates and nitrites.

A few accidents of the Proton launch vehicle cause even greater damage: in this case, tons of UDMH spill onto the ground at the crash site. So, in 2007, the Proton-M rocket dropped 40 km from the city of Zhezkazgan. Russia had to pay $ 2,5 million for cleaning up the territory from heptyl.

Another disadvantage of heptyl is the relatively low specific impulse of rocket engines that use it (288–330 s). Many foreign analogues are equipped with rocket engines using cryogenic fuel (liquid hydrogen) at the upper stages with a specific impulse of the order of 450 s, which allows to achieve better results in terms of mass of fuel.

          Sabotage?
As described above - when the rocket is with astronauts, then in case of emergency, their capsule is fired back and parachuted, but what is the difficulty of placing such systems on all rockets? This is saving time for the production of the same. Needless to say, who will get more work and a contract, since this is masochism. And since parachutes are not installed, then the cargo does not carry any value. And if they don’t bear it, then the insurers are aware of this and are unlikely to take full compensation. So - everything is done in order not to stand idle and build to build to build, the same thing, for decades. And soon the GLONASS group will have to be changed gradually.
You don’t need to look for the extreme, just the responsibility should rest with everyone who is involved in any way with the development of carriers, satellites, etc.

Not enough people? In the USSR, who has the highest salaries? All the places are already painted between the relatives of the authorities and their entourage, it remains either humped, so that in the end all the authorities will get their benefits, or simply to get as much knowledge and experience as possible for themselves and throw them out to some private owner for whom profit is important and it will accordingly appreciate, at least as a hardworking staff. And this situation is everywhere and everywhere. Improvement of education and mass landings and executions will save the situation, without them there is no way, no matter how Pu didn’t grieve about 37, and every day it becomes clearer and clearer why Stalin did all this, even the Germans recognized the fact that the purge of the USSR got rid of possible internal conflicts during the Second World War, it was like in Chechnya when it was selling its own candy wrappers. A cloud of smoke from the combustion of heptyl, a toxic substance used as fuel, formed above the crash site of the Proton-M launch vehicle, launched on Tuesday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. In total, according to the head of Kazcosmos Talgat Musabaev, there were about 600 tons of heptyl, amyl and kerosene in the rocket tanks, Interfax reports.

In turn, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic Vladimir Bozhko said that it is necessary to strengthen environmental safety control around the landfill.
        .

“Currently, a smoke cloud has formed from the combustion of heptyl. It is now located above the cosmodrome, the wind speed, according to the Ministry of Ecology, is 2,6 meters per second, and the wind is north. It can move beyond the territory of the landfill, ”said Bozhko.

On April 24, the antenna of the Kurs automatic rendezvous and docking system failed to deploy on the Russian Progress M-19M space truck, after it separated from the third stage of the Soyuz-U launch vehicle and was launched into orbit.

A repeated attempt to open the antenna while the Progress M-19M was passing over the coverage area of the ground tracking station was also unsuccessful.

        2012

On December 9, the Yamal-402 spacecraft could not be put into a geo-transfer orbit in a regular manner due to the fact that the Briz-M upper stage worked four minutes less than the prescribed time. The Proton-M launch vehicle with the Briz-M upper stage and the Yamal-402 satellite was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. With the help of Yamal's own engines, the satellite was launched into geostationary orbit in four stages.

All these operations, according to experts, will reduce the active life of the satellite by four years - from 15 to 11 years.

On November 14, due to a cable break in the Shchelkovo Highway in the Moscow Region, civilian ground-based measuring points in Russia lost the ability to control civilian satellites and give commands to the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

The damaged fiber optic cable was repaired the next day at 10am. The Akado Telecom operator, which owns the damaged communication channel, said that on the territory of the Mytishchi automatic telephone exchange, when carrying out repair work to dismantle the equipment, Rostelecom specialists mistakenly dismantled "a segment of an operating fiber-optic communication channel."

On August 7, the launch of Proton-M, which put the Express-MD2 and Telkom-3 communication satellites into orbit, ended abnormally due to a malfunction in the Briz-M upper stage.

He worked for seven seconds instead of the calculated 18 minutes 5 seconds, as a result, two satellites and he himself were not in the orbit where they were supposed to go. On the trajectory where the satellites ended up, they were both completely useless. The cause of the failure was a defect in one of the jets of the booster block, due to which the fuel line was clogged and the engine stopped working. After a malfunction, the booster block became uncontrollable and turned into space debris. In mid-October, it exploded, creating a whole cloud of fragments that are potentially dangerous for the International Space Station (ISS) and other devices in near-Earth orbit.

On July 27, an emergency situation occurred with the Chibis-M scientific satellite. An error in the cyclogram, which was put on board the satellite, led to a violation of the energy balance - the batteries began to discharge faster than they were charged due to the fact that the electrical load turned out to be greater than what came from the solar panels. Automation worked, which began to turn off scientific instruments, some non-critical systems. After the failure, it took the specialists some time to restore the "broken" settings, but the scientific equipment after the failure was turned on the next day, right after the initial recovery of the system.

On the night of July 24, the Russian Progress cargo spacecraft was unable to dock to the International Space Station (ISS) due to a technical malfunction of the Kurs radio-technical rendezvous system.

        2011

On December 23, the launch of the Meridian dual-purpose satellite (military and civilian) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome ended in failure - as a result of the failure of the engine of the third stage of the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle, the spacecraft did not enter its design orbit, and its debris fell in Siberia.

On December 20, TV broadcasting of the Yamal-201 satellite, owned by Gazprom-Space Systems, was interrupted to a number of Russian regions due to an emergency. Later, the spacecraft was removed from non-oriented flight (the so-called "spin" mode) and oriented along three coordinate axes. With the help of solar panels, it was possible to charge the satellite's batteries, restart the software, and eventually restore its normal operation.

On December 21, the operation of the Yamal-201 satellite was resumed, television broadcasting was restored in full.

On the night of November 9, an abnormal situation arose when the Russian interplanetary station Phobos-Grunt was put on the trajectory of its departure to Mars. The Phobos-Grunt station was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. After the station was separated from the Zenit-2SB launch vehicle, the propulsion system (MDU) did not work, and Phobos-Grunt remained in low-earth orbit.

On August 24, after the launch of the new Progress M-12M cargo vehicle, the propulsion system malfunctioned at the 325th second at the third stage of the Soyuz U launch vehicle, which led to its emergency shutdown. The wreckage of the space truck, which did not burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere, fell in Gorny Altai. There were no casualties and destruction on earth.

On August 18, the newest Express-AM4 satellite, launched on the night of August 18 from the Baikonur cosmodrome by a Proton-M rocket with a Briz-M upper stage, did not get in touch at the estimated time.

The launch and flight of the Proton-M rocket proceeded normally, in accordance with the planned program. During the flight of the orbital block as part of the upper stage and the spacecraft, a failure occurred in the "Breeze-M" control system, as a result of which the "Express-AM4" spacecraft was launched into an off-design orbit.

On February 1, the Geo-IK-2 military geodetic spacecraft did not get in touch at the estimated time. The spacecraft was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome by the Rokot light launch vehicle. It was later discovered in an off-design orbit. On April 22, the Russian Space Forces (KV) managed to establish contact with the Geo-IK-2.

The State Commission established that the preliminary reason for the lack of communication with Geo-IK-2 was the negative energy balance of the spacecraft, which was formed as a result of a drop in the onboard power supply voltage.

        2010

On December 5, three Glonass-M satellites were lost, which were supposed to complete the formation of the Russian global navigation system GLONASS. The Proton-M launch vehicle with three satellites was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. However, the satellites were not launched into orbit - after the launch, the upper stage DM-03 manufactured by RSC Energia, together with the spacecraft, fell into the Pacific Ocean. According to the conclusions of the commission that investigated the incident, all stages and systems of the Proton launch vehicle worked normally, and the satellites were lost due to the fact that 03 tons of excess fuel was poured into the DM-1,5 upper stage due to an error in the design documentation ...

        2009

On December 11, the Russian scientific satellite, the Coronas-Foton solar observatory, which was launched into orbit on January 30, 2009, stopped communicating with the Earth. Malfunctions on board began in the fall of 2009. On December 1, due to a lack of power supply, all scientific equipment was turned off. The breakdown of the power supply system became the reason for the failure of the apparatus. In June 2010, the observatory's program of work was officially closed.

On March 2, the Express AM-1 satellite, operated by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Kosmicheskaya Svyaz (RSCS), lost its orientation, as a result of which the repeater channels were disconnected. The reason for the loss of orientation was the failure of the unit of inertial gyroscopes, which is part of the orientation system. The satellite's orientation was restored using the backup algorithm.

        2008

In the summer, shortly after entering orbit, the Persona (Cosmos-2441) optical reconnaissance satellite, launched on 26 July, ceased operations. The satellite was designed to receive high-resolution images and transmit them to Earth via radio. It was expected that the new spacecraft would interrupt the seven-year period, when the military department was not able to quickly receive images of the earth's surface from space of sufficiently high resolution. According to Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov, the reason for the loss of the satellite was the use of low-quality electronics in the manufacture of the spacecraft.

        2007

On March 7, communication with the Tatiana-1 satellite, the first MSU project to create its own spacecraft, was lost. It was launched on January 22, 2004 on the eve of the 250th anniversary of Moscow State University. The Tatiana-1 satellite made it possible, in particular, to successfully study near-earth space, register the cosmic flux of electrons, protons and alpha-particles, as well as measure the ultraviolet radiation of the atmosphere. The warranty period for the active existence of the Tatiana-1 satellite was one year, while the spacecraft has worked in orbit for more than two years without significant comments.

        2006

On March 29, the Russian communications and broadcasting satellite Express-AM11 crashed. As a result of a sudden external influence, the thermal control system failed, as well as a temporary loss of satellite orientation.

Given the threat of complete loss of controllability, the satellite was put into orbit.

        2005

On October 27, it was not possible to establish contact with the Mozhaets-5 satellite, launched the day before from the Plesetsk cosmodrome by the Cosmos-3M launch vehicle.

The scientific and educational spacecraft "Mozhaets-5" was developed by cadets and teachers of the AF Mozhaisky Military Space Academy. It was assumed that it will be used to train cadets of the Academy and other universities of the Space Forces in methods of controlling spacecraft and processing information from space.

The algorithm for separating the spacecraft from the adapter failed, which subsequently affected the establishment of communication with it.

On October 18, the Khrunichev Center lost control of the Monitor-E Earth remote sensing spacecraft. According to the Mission Control Center of the Monitor-E spacecraft, the satellite experienced serious control problems, after which it entered unoriented mode. Monitor-E was launched into orbit by the Rokot launch vehicle on August 26, 2005.

This is the result of the collapse of the industry as a whole and the leadership of incompetent people. And also a total cut-back of funds. In every design bureau and in every enterprise, under the guise of commercial activities and optimization, the budget is wasted. Military acceptance was blown away. In the 80s at the "Gelion" plant, before the unit left the shop for the warehouse, it was fumbled at stands for 2-3 weeks. I don’t think that everything remained so. And the plant died safely.
Let's hope that the conclusions still follow. Although there is a likelihood that there are simply no frames.

Right now, I'll go, hand over the stolen gasoline at the gas station, write a repentant "godfather" and at the same time educate him - what a sucker he is. Even though I FSUs.
And in order not to be so pessimistic (really, what am I, on Tuesday morning) - I'll draw a poster and go wandering around the office - "Soviet missiles are the best missiles in the world !!!"
And it will be true truth.

Day of mourning for cosmonautics ... People do not want to realize that it cannot be good in space when everything is bad around ... or rather, people are trying to believe that it is not so bad, so it should be normal in astronautics too ... People are trying believe, they convince themselves that our rulers cannot be "brutes", because they love the Motherland and talk about it, they also invest in industry, though only in the military-industrial complex, but we have always been proud of our weapons. They defend the interests of the Motherland abroad, in defiance of all the enemies of Russia ... In their slogans and calls they are for a bright future for everyone, all the reforms and transformations being carried out only for the people, for the prosperity of Russia ...
People would like to believe in this despite the wild prices for housing and communal services, the constantly growing prices for gasoline and gas, and the disgusting roads on which billions are poured every year. Despite the fact that the rulers themselves love to rest in the camp of "enemies of Russia", to have real estate and business interests there, that their children live there and have the citizenship of these countries, and not of the allied countries ...
People want to believe in them and vote for them, despite the fact that they are separated by an infinitely high fence from the whole country to knock on which is life-threatening ...
How to combine all this in your head? Quite simply, THE ENEMIES OF THE ENEMIES, this explains everything, but you can think of enemies as many as you want, starting from a racial trait, ending with a sexual orientation ... In the comments above, they already started ...

The first of seven Indian navigation satellites IRNSS-1A (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) was launched from India’s only cosmodrome located on the Shriharikot island near the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh.

The launch took place at 23:41 local time (22:11 Moscow time) on Monday, July 1. After about 20 minutes, the PSLV-C22 launch vehicle launched the satellite into equatorial orbit, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to local media.

The Kazakhs will now try to make the most of this accident: they will arrange another hysteria, prohibit launches of Protons, impose fines for damaged ecology in order to raise the rent for the cosmodrome.
The insurers will also win back in their favor: they will increase the insurance rates for the Proton launches. Now, according to foreign sources, the value of the Proton reliability indicator is 86,67%. For comparison, the same indicator for the Delta-2 (USA) and N-1 (Japan) launch vehicles is 99,0%. Before the cause of the accident is ascertained, proton flights will be banned. The place of incidence and the direction of the wind must be thoroughly cleaned, since heptyl and its combustion components are very toxic and stable, environmental foam will be required. Probably a carrier with less environmental damage will be needed. But such carriers will fly from your spaceport and from Baikonur protons?

There is always a voice that will put the Kazakhs in the role of moral freaks, who supposedly are just waiting for the moment, as if to free money in Baikonur.
When heptyl from the sky pours itself on you once again, you will begin to hysteria. Kazakhs did not earn a dime on space rocket crashes. Kazakhs demand only land reclamation at Russian expense. The profits were never taken by the Kazakhs from any of these accidents.

Proton launches are ALWAYS suspended after accidents, just like Mi-8 flights in Kazakhstan are always temporarily prohibited if a helicopter of this brand falls to the ground. Until they find out the cause of the accident and until they are convinced that this is not a design error, no flights are possible.
Even if a car is found to be defective, then all cars of this brand are revoked (I'm talking about world practice). These are not Kazakhs - Westernists, it is a common practice to suspend launches after an accident until the circumstances are clarified.

The question of raising rents (which is actually miserable and never sent to Kazakhstan in the form of real money, but written off for the training of Kazakhstani cadets in Russian military schools) has never been raised by the government of Kazakhstan. On the contrary, the government of Kazakhstan suggests that Russia remove the rent for Baikonur altogether, remove the costs of the city’s infrastructure from the Russian side and offer Russia co-financing of space programs.

Until Kazakh Saakashivili comes to power, and the Kazakhs do not distance themselves very far from degrading Russia, to be a victim of Russian insidious policy ...

for the Kazakhs, it is justified and approved by the Rashi?! .. The price of a root penny is whined and tails tucked into the bushes, is it ordered to endure further?! .. and meanwhile, heptyl from Saturn missiles continues the chemical attack from Baikonur?! .. How many of them are there still left at the thieving Roskosmos ?!

how do I hate this stupid, mediocre roskosmos! so that all the consequences affect the children and grandchildren of those who agreed to fly from Baikonur!

Russia still has about 100 under-utilized corroded Satan missiles, which they convert into Proton and launch from Baikonur. They will continue to launch them even if half of the "Protons" fall on the heads of Kazakhstanis and poison everything around. So Kazakhstan should get ready to continue "friendship" with Russia at the expense of our health and our children. After all, the Roskosmos companies from each launch have an average of tens of millions of dollars, and when it comes to such amounts, no one cares. So the residents of Kyzyl-Orda need to stock up on gas masks and activated carbon, and God help them

these are excerpts from the treasury, unfortunately the accident spurred a round of anti-Russian hysteria among the Kazakh opposition and the treasure

Do not distort, dear Marek Rozny. I do not expose the Kazakhs in the form that you are talking about. I mean, everyone who is too lazy is trying to breed Russia in money with or without it. The republics of the former USSR, including Kazakhstan, are especially active in this field. But more about that below, but in this case, Russia is undoubtedly to blame and will pay in full. Yes, God forbid! Anyone will be hysterical in that case. I am amazed at the developers of our rocket engines: the use of highly toxic components of rocket fuel and an oxidizing agent is still inhumane. We have learned to poison our own citizens and spoil the land a long time ago. In the Saratov province there are enterprises for the destruction of chemical weapons. Upstream of the Volga, right on the shore is the Balakovo NPP, which periodically causes various kinds of troubles. In the salt domes of the left bank of the Volga, the military carried out explosions of nuclear charges of low power. The Chernobyl cloud passed over the Saratov region twice.
          Quote: Marek Rozny
Proton launches are ALWAYS suspended after an emergency.

In 2013, the Kazakhstani side preventively reduced the number of launches of Proton-M launch vehicles to 12 against 17 requested by the Russian side and launches of vehicles into a sun-synchronous orbit, which will not allow Russia to fulfill its contractual obligations under five commercial programs, and this, in its turn, will lead to the termination of international contracts and the need to pay a penalty to customers up to $ 500 million. The Russian Foreign Ministry sent an official note of protest to Kazakhstan, threatening to curtail all projects in the space industry altogether.
The severity of the conflict has reached such a level that Nazarbayev flew to Moscow at the end of last week. And after his meeting with Putin, a joint statement was made that Russia accepted the proposal of Kazakhstan:
          - A new agreement on the conditions for Russia's presence in Baikonur;
          - phased withdrawal from Russian lease of a number of spaceport facilities;
          - start of joint operation of facilities with simultaneous training of Kazakh specialists;
          - Kazakhstan, in response, does not prevent the launch of Proton carrier rockets from Baikonur.
But the statement on the gradual withdrawal of Russia from Baikonur means that from this moment cuts in funding for the rental of the spaceport begins.

On the contrary, the government of Kazakhstan suggests that Russia remove the rent for Baikonur altogether, remove the costs of the city’s infrastructure from the Russian side and offer Russia co-financing of space programs.

Russia annually pays Kazakhstan $ 115 million in rent for Baikonur and another $ 200 million (according to the estimates of Deputy Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Meirbek Moldabekov) Roscosmos spends on maintaining the facilities of Baikonur and its vital activity in operational condition. Plus the costs of medical care for residents of the 70-thousandth city, half of whom are now citizens of Kazakhstan, their education, including higher education, according to Russian standards, etc. Musabayev also said about considering "the possibility of withdrawing from lease relations in the city of Baikonur, which can be transferred under the jurisdiction of Kazakhstan." The deputy of the lower house of the parliament of Kazakhstan Amangeldy Momyshev said that today the rent for the cosmodrome should be at least one billion dollars. Public figures of Kazakhstan, in their open appeal to the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan, believe that the rent of the Russian Federation for the operation of the Baikonur cosmodrome and a number of military training grounds is unreasonably underestimated. The government of Kazakhstan is still silent, but the ground, as we can see, has already been prepared.
The maintenance of the spaceport almost completely eats up the profit from commercial launches. The Russian side also speaks of blackmail by Kazakh officials - according to unofficial information, some high-ranking officials of Kazakhstan associated with the Nazarbayev family began hinting at kickbacks in exchange for the withdrawal of claims for the launch of Protons: http://mirnov.ru/rubriki- novostey / 27-glavnaya-tema / 1856-rossiya-sdala-bajkonur-2
A number of Kazakh leaders have the intention to make their country a space power, and at the expense of Russia. Kazakhstan stated that it wants not only to lease the spaceport, but also to participate in launches directly, at the same time receiving a fair share of the profits from commercial launches. Russia replied: if you want to get the technology, pay for it, but Kazakhstan did not want to pay.
Russia agreed to immediately begin a gradual departure from Baikonur. This means not only a gradual reduction in Russian funding, but also that now Kazakhstan will have to spend its own money to maintain the appropriate infrastructure in working condition. Moreover, the future prospects of Baikonur are becoming more than foggy. Kazakhstan, according to the latest information, wants to try to independently operate the spaceport. That is, to buy rockets from Russia, put a commercial load on them and launch for money. Since Kazakhstan has practically no space launch experience, this process can drag on for many years.
Less emotion, dear Marek Rozny and more facts. In the meantime, I will return your “hairpin” to you:

It does not seem to anyone that, theoretically, the fact that missiles with glonasses fall can be the cause of sabotage of one of the employees. In fact, glonass itself reduces Russia's vulnerability and dependence on foreign systems, which as a result has a positive effect on combat effectiveness, etc. It very very strongly seems that someone is thoroughly paid to make them fall. At the time, I wrote an article comparing RosKosmos and NASA in terms of rocket science and accident rate. With much larger volumes of space transportation, the accident rate of our rockets does not exceed the accident rate of NASA missiles. So it’s strange, at least.

Crisis on the face. Not only in space, wherever you need an engineering school and technology. The Soviet legacy is almost over. In those industries, where possible, we replace the Soviet one, we are pulling technology, machinery and equipment from behind the hill. In twenty-two years, a technological power has been turned into a country of merchants. Everything is sold from oil to diplomas, from deputy mandates and public duties to intimate services. Why study when you can buy a diploma. Why invest money and wait 20 years for returns when it’s easier to put them into circulation. Why create rigidly subordinate state-owned enterprises in the same cosmonautics or defense industry, when you can spawn one and a half hundred JSCs and occupy grain positions in them without answering anything.

Sorry, but you said nonsense, I’m from Krasnoyarsk, I’ve crossed paths with Zheleznogorsk and the people working there more than once
the level of secrecy, control and accounting in production is very high, the Soviet system is still used,

It is not the final product that is stolen. Everything is much simpler there. According to the papers, the coolest components are purchased at an astronomical price, but in fact they buy cheap consumer goods. Due to the price fork, both sides make a profit. And dragging a finished product over a fence is now something only a mechanic can earn for a bottle. Previously, this scheme was almost never used, since there were few suppliers and they all had their own military acceptance standards. But now it’s a haven for schemers...

In the Criminal Code of the RSFSR of 1926 (valid until 1958), sabotage was classified as “counter-revolutionary crimes” (Article 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). “Counter-revolutionary sabotage” was defined as “the deliberate failure of someone to perform certain duties or the deliberate neglect of their performance with the express purpose of weakening the power of the government and the activities of the state apparatus.

There is not even such a concept in modern Russian jurisprudence...
The Criminal Code has an article for not providing assistance or leaving someone in an obviously helpless position... But this does not apply to everyone...
The Labor Code contains articles about failure to fulfill official duties or inadequacy of the position held... But this is punishable by a maximum of dismissal.

The situation in Roscosmos has become so serious that it needs to be corrected by extraordinary means. They have already become the laughing stock of the world. Once again I propose to take the strictest responsibility for such cases of missile loss. And specialists who committed criminal negligence will be sent to “sharagi” to serve their sentences. When they are free, they cannot use their knowledge for the benefit of the Motherland as it should be - let them use it behind the fence.

There can be only one solution to the problem: systemic restructuring and nationalization of the entire defense industry, including the aerospace industry. The Russian private sector does not yet have any interest in long-term programs, nor is there confidence that they will allow them to bring these programs to their logical conclusion. And therefore he has one interest: to achieve the allocation of as much budget money as possible for his business, share it with those who allocated it and go to the bottom or disappear to the “foreign countries”. And no foreign saboteurs are needed. Enough of our own thieves so that everything that should take off and fly explodes at the start

It started when he wrote a memo. In response, he is advised to look at the company’s documents regarding subordination and responsibility. He imprisoned a girl for analyzing documents. The girl came to him with information that one document refers to another, and as a result, it is impossible to find in the department the person who needs to be punched in the face! Everything is clear in the production departments, but in management everything is in the fog. I inquired about other related enterprises - everything is approximately the same! The job descriptions are a mess, and the regulations on management departments are a mess.

Otherwise, damn it, there are two extremes - either capitalism or “sharagi”, but you can’t sit down and think normally about how to find a civilized way out and “pits”?

We were already sitting down (though not in the right place)... We were already thinking. And what?

Maybe then those who sat down and thought, and not specialists, should be sent to the “sharagi”?

In Russia, specialists have always been imprisoned, from the times (woe from mind) to the present time. This was especially practiced under Stalin. So living with this Russian forever is doom when there is no way out. And hundreds of billions of dollars are withdrawn from the country every year...that’s what your former head of the National Bank said. The Kremlin sees all this...and the people support the Kremlin. Russia's end and collapse is inevitable under this system.

Punishments and resignations, I’m afraid, won’t fix the matter. There are already systemic problems in mechanical engineering, science and education. Miracles do not happen - it is impossible to have a destroyed industry and an almost complete absence of scientific developments and at the same time try to hold on to the place of world leader in certain industries, it does not happen. Because too many industries are intertwined in rocket science. But the main problem, it seems to me, is staffing. There are too few qualified engineers and workers. I work in the energy sector, I see with my own eyes how difficult it is to find specialists; you can search for years. And even more so in rocket science - there the level of tasks is orders of magnitude more complex. The inertia from the Soviet Union ended, and during the period of Russian reality nothing new was proposed and there was a huge failure in everything. And now it’s not even so important whether it’s sabotage or not - what’s important is that such accidents will happen more and more often, and it’s impossible to stop this trend instantly - you need to work long and hard in all industries so that the situation gradually begins to improve. Something has certainly begun to be done, but it seems to me that this is far from enough...

Working under the communists at a secret defense plant, I often heard a ditty among the workers, by the way, it is still true now, when the Kremlin is producing billionaires and millionaires......the rocket at the launch fell into the swamp, as they paid, so they worked.
A rocket flew, fell into a swamp, what a salary - such a job. It was the same ditty :)

In general, if only we introduce criminal liability for low-quality products at factories, the last hard workers will run away. You can always find another job rather than risk sitting down.

      1. It is necessary to create the prestige of the profession of working in astronautics (although it has practically not fallen), to make wages competitive in the labor market. The specialists would then hold on to their places. (A living example of management at one of the factories - hard workers of one of the factories receive somewhere on average 7 thousand rubles. The director, during a week-long business trip to Moscow, rents a hotel room for $4000 per day at the expense of the enterprise.)

2 Increase product quality control. An example from personal experience. We conducted flight tests of products. A batch of several items arrived from the factory. During the check on the ground, an error popped up - failure of one of the devices. They began to look - towards him the harness was not connected at all, but secured with steel wire. Generally tough. Firstly, how the counterman countered him. Secondly, the product had to be accepted by the quality department - as they accepted it. So how can we talk about the quality of the factories’ products after this?

      3. Also monitor compliance with the procedure for developing new components. They must necessarily pass the entire complex of acceptance tests not on paper. Many people save on this.

In general, with the current situation in astronautics, one thing can be said: rockets will and will fall!

I think the problem is not entirely in personnel. We have our own frames, and you can buy these frames. There are many smart and talented people. The problem is in power, in leadership. In payment and control of personnel work. And behind everything is the Russian people, who elected and are not against this government. Stolypin also said that his main problem is COMMUNITY in the minds of the Russian people. But a community cannot create a high-tech product. And with the consciousness of the desire of Stalin the Tsar, patriotism will not appear either. Of course there are no simple recipes. One president said centuries ago...we will not help people by doing for them what they could do themselves.

Let me disagree with you. In China, the community consciousness is much more developed than ours, but nevertheless this does not prevent them from making significant progress in almost all areas. The same can be said about the Soviet Union - they created very technological things. There are a lot of talented people, I have no doubt. But when it comes to specifics, to the specific practical application of knowledge and skills (not talents and intelligence) - this is where the problems begin. But these are not even really problems of people, that they do not have the opportunity to realize their talents into any meaningful result, primarily for themselves - these are problems of the state and the elite, which should govern this state, but does not govern in essence. And falling rockets, Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power stations, broken dams and accidents in housing and communal services are simply consequences and manifestations of a systemic crisis in the country's governance.

The official version of the rocket fall will differ from the true one by 100%. The production culture has simply fallen. They forgot how to work. This enthusiasm has been gone for a long time now, when “the Motherland said it must!” was above all. When you work and know that you are someone who is responsible for the prestige of millions of people - this is one thing, but when you work only for money - it is completely different.

Cosmonaut Leonov once said about this: "...Since you erase the names of heroes from your memory, get Taburetkin, who robbed the Motherland, destroyed the concept of honor. Honor today has been overshadowed by money... It’s like the old joke: “Ivan, what would you do if you became a king?” - “I would take 100 rubles and run away!” So they take it and run..."
But, dammit, there’s no way everyone will run away. Apparently, the ship is still afloat.
