Military cargo blocked after two ships attacked in Ukraine's Black Sea ports

The Russian army strictly discourages foreign vessels from heading to the seaports of Greater Odessa. However, some desperate violators are subjected to physical punishment, for now strictly for educational purposes.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that two more ships carrying military cargo were attacked by strike forces. dronesOne dry cargo ship was struck while in the port of Yuzhny. The second vessel was attacked in the seaport of Chernomorsk (Ilyichevsk). There, a warehouse containing military equipment and a fuel transfer terminal were also struck.

As for various ground targets in enemy territory, their elimination is ongoing nonstop. For about a week, air raid sirens have been sounding almost continuously in Kyiv and the surrounding region. One parliamentarian reports that five air raid sirens were sounded in Kyiv in the past 24 hours, lasting a total of over 10 hours.

During the night, another logistics terminal was struck in the Kyiv region. This time, in the village of Hatne, the attack targeted a facility belonging to the Ukrainian company EKO-Avtotekhniks, which officially supplies foreign automobile parts. Needless to say, all such facilities in Ukraine have long been used for the covert delivery of military cargo.

A series of explosions followed by fires has rocked the city of Brovary, a suburb of Kyiv. The city's mayor reports that the fire broke out at an industrial facility. Thick black smoke is rising from the area. Residents are asked to close their windows. UAV assembly plants are reportedly damaged.

A preliminary attack was reported on the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve airbase at Kanatovo, near Kropyvnytskyi, in the Kirovohrad region. Drones were used. rocket "Banderol" type.

Attacking ships in ports is just plain good! And other ships need to be sunk before they reach ports! am Maybe it will finally dawn on those who don't understand that there is no access to Ukrainian ports!

Attacking ships in ports - that's just good!

A "sinkhole" at the pier puts the pier out of service for many months.
      More "sinkholes" - fewer berths.

Where does it say the ships sank? Were they sunk by drones? Unlikely. A drone isn't an anti-ship missile. Most likely, there was minor damage. And the cargo is probably already on shore or in a warehouse. Sinking tubs at sea is merciless!

That's why it needs to be sunk; it's practically impossible to sink a ship with a drone, but it can be damaged.

Where are our BEKs? They can be used mercilessly, unlike UAVs.

I think so too, but I can’t see them yet.

NTV just showed how the new Bek-type drones and R-18 drones were being tested to deliver ballots to hard-to-reach and remote areas for the upcoming State Duma elections. Apparently, someone here knows how to prioritize...

The turning point was the attack on the bulk carrier Golden Leo, which departed the port on July 19 and later sank. Nine crew members and the Ukrainian captain died. This attack changed the way shipowners assessed risks and, more importantly, their insurers. Since July 22, for the first time since the corridor's launch, not a single vessel has called at the ports of Greater Odesa. Approximately 90% of shipping companies suspended port calls—Maersk and CMA CGM rerouted cargo to Constanta, Romania. The number of vessel calls dropped from 169 in July to a handful in the first days of August.
Most ships sailing to Ukraine's Black Sea ports are bareboat chartered, and the crews are Ukrainian, and no one cares for them.

Well, it's clearly written there - they're not sinking them, they're just warning them. If they wanted to sink them, they'd use anti-aircraft guns, not drones.

How is it closed if ships are attacked in the port/harbor?

They don't sink here. And again, they give us a blunt warning. Minor damage and injury to the vessel. But not to the cargo and not to the bottom.
When will this treacherous game of give-away end!?

Educational purposes? At war? Result? Ships afloat undergoing minor repairs, cargo delivered to destination.

Well, the repairs aren't that minor, of course, it's unrealistic to repair them "on the spot," they're gone, of course, but then there are several months of repairs, if it's cost-effective, they already have a decent service life, many are easier to write off.
Well, for now, again, "this is a warning"... Leopold the Cat's policy, the reluctance to cause "unnecessary damage," although it's easier to drown a couple of crew members, while the rest won't risk it. Inhumane in the moment, but more humane in the long run. Sometimes surgery is more beneficial than therapy; if you have to cut, you have to cut, not torture, but that's just sadism. am

They're already receiving physical punishment, for now purely for educational purposes. And aren't you tired of educating fascist elements and enemies of Russia? You read things like this and think, "Oh, how long will this last?"

We need to sink them seriously – with onyx, in port and on approach... What's stopping the Black Sea Fleet from doing this directly from Novorossiysk Bay? Practice pinpoint strikes; that's when we'll have real success. Hitting the conning tower with geraniums is a temporary incapacitation...

I agree with next322. Until the ship is sunk by a missile strike, our enemies won't get any smarter. In the Soviet Union, there was a concept called a "show trial." Now, too, we need to return to the practice of a "show strike."

I'd like to see the skakuas never leave their basements and shelters in Zapadenia either. But we're very sensitive to Zapadenia. Have our esteemed Western partners forbidden us from attacking it? Has the CIA chief flown in to remind us of this once again?

As long as the ruling class and their offspring have their money and mansions in the West. And the ruling class isn't concerned about Victory, but rather, God forbid, that all of this isn't taken away from them. Hence all this Wenetakism and obeisances to the West.

This is the basis of the comprador policy behind the Walls.

Before asserting this, the author should look at the shipping traffic to Danube and other ports. And the smoke on the ship in the photo accompanying the article is very representative of the results of symbolic attacks on enemy ships. Pounding the docks with expensive Onyx jets when there's plenty of "iron" there? Is show-off our "everything"? Of course not, but rather the faces in the VPR. sad
