From correspondence to treason: The FSB detained two residents of the Kostroma region.

In the Kostroma region, FSB officers took two local residents into custody. They are suspected of working for the Ukrainian secret services and of treason.

The detainees are Russian nationals, born in 1978 and 1983. According to investigators, they voluntarily contacted a Ukrainian intelligence agent via Telegram. No blackmail or other coercion was used.

On instructions from their Ukrainian "superiors," they collected and sent information to Kyiv about Russian military personnel participating in the special operation, and also transferred funds to support Ukrainian forces.

During a search of their home, they found a TT pistol of 7,62 mm caliber with cartridges, a sawed-off shotgun, and another 240 cartridges of the same caliber.

Cases have been opened against those detained under articles on treason and illegal trafficking. weaponsThe court sent them into custody.

In footage published by the FSB, one of the detainees admits to collecting data on military personnel and transmitting it to the Ukrainian side through Telegram channels, knowing it was treason. He stated his remorse. Investigators are currently investigating all the details of their activities and possible connections to other perpetrators.

In August, FSB officers in the Ryazan region arrested a contractor working for Ukrainian intelligence. According to investigators, he was carrying out orders from Kyiv, collecting and transmitting information about the Ministry of Defense's military facilities and fuel and energy companies. He received a Russian passport in 2022.

Such incidents occur regularly, and the agency stated that anyone who decides to help the enemy will sooner or later be identified and brought to justice.

Sometimes I get the idea to "contact the special services" of the crazy people and offer my services, maybe I can identify and hand over the "waiters"... But I don't know how, and I'm lazy, let those who are supposed to do it winked

Of course it is Yes , but alas... in the use of the state apparatus of security forces (specially trained people from law enforcement agencies), and in their selective use, there are quite a few oddities?! winked Don't you find?

When forceful eliminations occur, either of a submarine commander, or of a high-ranking combat officer, or of a long-range bomber pilot, or of the first brave and resolutely patriotic commanders of the so-called "Russian Spring" ... ... ( (underline what you need, at your discretion wink ...because there are many examples ...) employees of the state's security agencies, somehow chronically fail to keep up, protect your own "yesterday's heroes". And sometimes they are directly involved (How were the Wagner Group fighters involved in the liquidation of the first LPR commanders?). When those (For example A. The fight against those who have thought about it is just as decisive, fast and irreconcilable - "What's going on here, honestly? And why is it like this?" ... (Strelkov, Ivan Popov, Surovikin, Prigozhin...).

But there are threats in the activities of, for example, Chubais and Shoigu (who brought Timur Ivanov to the Ministry of Defense), Rakhmanova (at the post of head of the USC for a decade !!), very similar to sabotage and embezzlement in the endless chains of shipbuilding programs of the Navy ... in all these actions LASTING for decades (!) belay specially trained people, they don't notice point blank...?!
And these cases are far from isolated. winked How can this be? Are such actions really any less dangerous and destructive to the state?! belay Why weren't the capabilities of these specially trained security forces used or directed before the coup in Ukraine to stop the delivery of weapons to the rebels in Kyiv, or to harshly suppress all sorts of Parasyukov, Sashko Bily, Pashinsky, Parubiy, Avakov... I wonder when Ekho Moskvy's transformation took place—in 1996, with Venediktov's arrival? Or did this otherwise decent history teacher himself undergo a transformation, interacting with all sorts of pro-Western rabble at the radio station? But it's clear that where people start screaming about freedom of speech, they ultimately end up with the dominance of a single, correct opinion.

Sorry for the late reply! hi Regarding Echo, I'll say this: I didn't listen to the live broadcasts, I only read the news and user comments, and I didn't actively participate in discussions on political blogs. The audience there is too nervous, and the liberal audience is, for the most part, inadequate. As a rule, they are either Jews or Ukrainians, but almost all foreigners are Russophobes. There were, of course, exceptions: Nina Petrova from New York is a wonderful, sincere person; Alexander Gerchik - "Parrot" from Florida, although a bit harsh, is an honest, responsive man.

There are plenty of maximum-security prisons for those sentenced to life imprisonment. But they live there until they're 60 or 70 years old...
Daily routine, three meals a day, regular medical examinations, heated cells, and a library.

Do you seriously believe these prisons and colonies have all the conditions for longevity? Here, for example, are the conditions at the Black Dolphin:
This prison is considered one of the most severe in the country – rapists, cannibals, and murderers serve life sentences here. Two to four inmates are held per cell, but solitary confinement is also available. Inmates are under 24-hour surveillance: the lights in their cells are always on, video recording is conducted, and guards check on them every 15 minutes. Inmates rise at 6:00 a.m. and go to bed 16 hours later. They are not allowed to lie down on their beds during the day. When leaving their cells, inmates are escorted by a guard of at least three people and a dog handler with a dog. When transferring to another building, they are blindfolded to prevent them from remembering the prison layout. According to unofficial estimates, the prison holds approximately 750 inmates, with a staff of 900. Inmates strictly adhere to rituals regarding interactions with guards.

        https://ria.ru/20161028/1480120041.html?ysclid=mtmq5evin6692561842
Maniacs, pedophiles, and other particularly dangerous criminals drag out the rest of their lives in the "Black Dolphin." None of them see the fountain with the black dolphin sculpture located in the prison yard—the prisoners walk blindfolded for part of their walk.

The inmates of "Dolphin" are confined 24/7 to cages located within their cells. Two inmates share 5 square meters of space. Checks and roll calls four times an hour, bright lights that remain on day and night, and the inability to lie down until 11 p.m.—these horrific conditions are reserved for the most vile criminals. No one has ever escaped from this institution.

In 1996, when a moratorium on the death penalty was introduced and prisoners were sentenced to life imprisonment, these prisons experienced an extraordinary number of suicides. The thought of long years spent within the walls of these gloomy buildings with appalling conditions was worse than death for the criminals.
According to some estimates, approximately 30% of prisoners rarely survive this regime for more than 10 years. Many go insane, die, or attempt suicide.

But everything I wrote about nutrition, medical examination and regimen is correct.
By the way, the black dolphin was made by a prisoner.
The "Snowflake" in the Far East was built according to some Scandinavian design.
How they walk around the grounds is simply safety regulations. They, like the Combat Regulations, are written in blood.
In Dolphin (or Polar Owl, I can't remember) there were over 3000 (!) victims for approximately 300 prisoners. And that's just the confirmed ones!
Incidentally, there are very few suicides there. And no one wants to replace a life sentence with the death penalty.
So - for demining. And even then - not all of them.
Some could be swapped with BRICS partners – sent to Brazil or India to serve time under strict regime.
You included a link to a report from 2016. There are already a ton of new ones, and even a book by a prisoner there was published.
