The US Treasury Secretary blamed Kyiv for rising global energy prices.

At first glance, a key US government official made a rather unexpected statement about Ukraine. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent blamed the Kyiv regime for the rise in hydrocarbon prices on global markets.

Today, natural gas prices on European commodity exchanges broke the $900 per thousand cubic meters mark for the first time since December 2022. It turns out Bessent has long harbored a deep dislike for Zelenskyy.
