The US launched a new attack on Iranian territory, and Tehran promises retaliation.

The US military has launched another attack on Iran. This time, they allegedly targeted two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missile launchers on Larak Island.

The operation was carried out after intelligence allegedly detected Iranian forces preparing to launch missiles towards the Strait of Hormuz. Incidentally, the island is located in this strait.

US Central Command spokesman Captain Tim Hawkins confirmed the information, saying that American forces are "closely monitoring the area and remain prepared to protect the free movement of goods."

According to Iran's Tasnim news agency, the attack was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles. At least two people were reported killed and two wounded.

This attack was the first known US strike on Iran since late July. Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced a "zero tolerance" policy regarding Iran's attempts to mine the waters. And CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper recently announced that mine clearance in the strait had been completed.

Tehran has already promised a harsh response to the aggression. IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi called the attack a "strategic and fatal mistake" and stated that "the enemy will pay for this miscalculation both economically and militarily." Iranian state television IRIB quoted the IRGC statement:

The aggression of the enemy terrorist on Larak Island will be met with punishment by the aggressor.

Shortly after the strike, reports emerged that Iran had fired missiles at American ships in the Strait of Hormuz. We await confirmation of these reports.

      The truce quickly ended.

Trump posted a video online showing missile strikes on Iran's Kharg Island. Importantly, the footage doesn't reflect reality; it was generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
"Khark Island is being blown to pieces!!!" Trump wrote under a video on the social network TruthSocial. The politician didn't elaborate.

It's low, but it's just like a mattress. Stuffing your electorate's ears with cotton wool is fine, but a specialist can spot AI cartoons in a jiffy.

Will it start again? How will Trump shoot down Iran's missiles? With the remains of the Patriots?

Give the Iranians some decent missiles already, so they can hit the mattress-makers more reliably. So to speak, exchange pleasantries for Ukraine.

Does Iran want to take them? Has it sent requests to Russia? Has it at least sent its military to negotiate with us?

He needs help. The question is whether they'll give it or whether they'll be afraid of their "partners."

What makes you think that? Are you authorized by Iran to request missiles?
And they themselves have not asked for help at the moment.

Common sense. Any country at war with the US and Israel will not refuse assistance. Be it missiles, satellite targeting, etc., etc. May I also ask: what makes you think Iran doesn't need assistance?

I can also ask, why did you assume that Iran doesn’t need help?

When a country needs weapons from another country, it asks for them.
For the weapon itself or a license to produce it
For example, the USSR turned to Germany for anti-aircraft guns, the Russian Federation for the Shahed, the Finns for the Kalashnikovs, and so on - there are a ton of examples.
The problem is that weapons have to be paid for (and in advance - you can't collect debts from the losing side).
Sometimes with money, sometimes by becoming a satellite, sometimes in kind.
At the moment, no movement is visible or heard from Iran.
Otherwise, everyone would be shouting about it - like with the Shaheds or Korean shells.
Let me repeat: anyone wishing to buy a weapon must state their will, purpose and means.
A weapon is not humanitarian aid, bread, or a loan; a weapon can suddenly turn against the seller...
