In the near future, the Russian Navy will have seven Yasen and Yasen-M multi-purpose nuclear submarines - commander in chief.

34

In the combat strength of the Navy fleet In the near future, Russia will have seven multipurpose nuclear submarines (NPS) of projects 885 and 885M (code "Ash" and "Ash-M"). Such updated data on the number of fourth-generation nuclear submarines was announced today by ITAR-TASS, Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Viktor Chirkov on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Northern Fleet.

“In the near future, the Navy’s combat forces will consist of eight strategic missile submarines: three of them are the 955 project and five are the improved 955A project, as well as seven multi-purpose nuclear submarines: one 885 project (Severodvinsk) and six modernized projects 885M ", - said the commander in chief. “The lead in a series of six submarines of the 885M project, Kazan, is being built at Sevmash, and its completion is scheduled for the 2015 year,” the admiral added.

According to ITAR-TASS, a source in the Russian defense industry complex, "the state program of armaments up to 2020 provides for the construction of eight Yasen-class submarines, but only seven have signed contracts."

Previously, the media featured various data on the total number of "Ash": from seven to ten submarines.

In April, Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov and Defense Ministry Procurement Department Head Andrei Vernigora told reporters that this year the Navy should be given two serial missile submarines of strategic purpose Alexander Nevsky and Vladimir Monomakh of the 955 project and a multi-purpose nuclear submarine. Severodvinsk ".

Answering the question from the ITAR-TASS correspondent, whether the two new submarines "Alexander Nevsky" and "Severodvinsk" will be transferred to the Navy this year, Borisov said: "I confirm the deadlines (2013 year) that you named." Vernigora, in turn, clarified that in the 2013, the Navy should receive one more submarine in addition to these two submarines - the strategic cruiser of the 955 project "Vladimir Monomakh".

“In accordance with the approved contracts this year, Sevmash, which is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, has to hand over to the Navy not two, but three nuclear submarines. This is the 885 Yenen multi-purpose nuclear submarine of the project“ Severodvinsk ”and two serial submarines cruisers "Alexander Nevsky" and "Vladimir Monomakh", - the head of the department specified.

"The progress and scope of work on these submarines, which are completed, instills confidence that these submarines will be commissioned this year," he added.

Regarding the head submarine "Severodvinsk" of the 885 project of the "Ash" class, the head of the department informed that it had completed a significant amount of testing in the 2012 year. "In the 2013 year, its state tests should be completed with shooting, including shock weaponsand the submission of the boat to the Navy will follow, "said Vernigora.

The first serial submarine class "Borey" "Alexander Nevsky," he said, passed the entire amount of factory sea trials. In December last year, it was filed for state tests, but due to adverse weather conditions (the White Sea was frozen), their completion was postponed to the 2013 year. According to the USC management and according to the approved schedule, the deadline for the delivery of these ships (“Alexander Nevsky” and “Severodvinsk”) is September 2013 of the year, Vernigora informed. The second serial submarine cruiser of the Borey class "Vladimir Monomakh", continued the head of the department, was removed from the plant’s workshop, in May the complex mooring tests of the main power plant begin (in fact, they are already under way - TASS), then (June) the stage of his factory trials at sea, then the presentation of the ship for state tests and at the end of the year it will also be handed over to the Navy.

Let's hope these are not empty proclamations. Our fleet needs these submarines. The security of our country depends on them. True, I would like the surface fleet to be replenished with ships of the first and second ranks.

        good
        Very good news!
And the nuclear submarines bring to mind, and the MiGs began to arrive, and the Mistrals to the Mediterranean and the Kuril Islands, and the T-50 and GLONAS. Everything is aligned.
All right to the joy of MOST.
And C 300 (with additions) to Syria. And the adversary will begin to focus in Syria - Iran will urgently need help. (one trump card in the sleeve) !!!

It remains to be considered - after what period of time will it enter the first combat service. About 3 years later, not earlier (purely my personal opinion).

Initially, the Severodvinsk was planned to be put into service in 2011, however, after each of the tests carried out, the ship returned to the shipbuilding enterprise for improvements. In particular, after one of the exits to the sea, malfunctions of the shaft line were revealed, in which strong friction and deformation of the bearings arose. In addition, the ship’s reactor did not give full power.

Over the past two years, the ship takes part in the tests for the fourth time. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, by the end of 2013, Severodvinsk could be put into service.
Pay attention to the uncertain future tense. Such spirits were - "maybe ..." When he enters the military service with a "worked out crew", and even better - when he finished it without incident, here we will indulge in "stormy and prolonged" applause. In the meantime, "rejoicing" that in the sea for testing the next shoved. Cho "yelp" - then out of joy. As if after the "epic" with the surrender of the Navy did not find out the "interesting news" - "stolen" "X" billions of rubles in the process of "purchased" construction. Already become a "good tradition", or it has already become. GLONASS there, "Nerpa", "Skolkovo", etc. etc. Who is bigger? Rejoice, damn it.

Great news! Finally, we will have a decent response to their Los Angeles and Virginia with Sea Wolves. Having in its armament RK 3K10 "Grenade" (KR 3М10), RK "Caliber-PL" (KR 3М14), Ash trees will become not only a real threat to the naval composition of the US Navy, but also its coastal infrastructure. Their acoustic inconspicuousness will serve the cause of anti-submarine warfare and the protection of our SSBNs in the ocean from the forces of anti-submarine warheads.

Seven submarines are a formidable force. These are hidden weapons. At least 140 ballistic and cruise missiles. And if there is not one warhead on each, then this is a total of about 500 charges. In this case, getting even one charge where you need can solve the problem. The perfect solution They must be located in different parts of the world's oceans. Unknown is the most unpleasant for the enemy. As for us, missile defense. We need to concentrate resources and finish building them. And it is not necessary to have such a massive fleet as in the USSR.

I believe that the fleet needs to have at least one kind of submarine cruiser, created on the basis of the “Shark”, and it’s possible to have a little more than a shark, so that it becomes something like a headquarters for coordinating the actions of the fleet, and the flagship at the same time, the Americans are boasting about their flagship aircraft carriers we have the largest and most modern underwater strategic cruiser in the world with good stocks of nuclear warheads ... It will be like a demonstration of power, and it’s not difficult to create such a machine, use the main developments from sharks, and equipment and other systems from boreas and ash trees ... One this submarine will not be a problem for the budget

As a rule, when creating "Boreev" and "Ash" use either the backlog of unfinished submarines, or the decommissioned hull. Hence my question: doesn’t the submarine wear out in the first place, how is metal fatigue, etc.?

Somewhere and something in some volumes is being done, but in the whole country, human and other resources are completely not involved. Higher education has turned into a fiction, few go from universities to the scientific level, works on a profile and in general for the good of the country. I know dozens of graduate graduates who are generally nowhere to do, although they make good money. Talented and hardworking youth do not need anyone. I can say with confidence that I myself could be of great benefit somewhere at a design institute or in production, but in my area there is nothing close to it. An acquaintance who has a physical-technical education (for those who understand what it is ...) at a military plant under the USSR calculated rocket shells, has been solving problems for students for many years and is engaged in tutoring ...
Everything, therefore, goes to f ** k ... Human life has survived from the Soviet era, without passing anything to other generations and not leaving itself a replacement.

Russian youth need - "come on right away." I will quote: This is clearly not enough and these are just regular promises, because in real life, everything is not so smooth.
For them, everything is "not so smooth." Our young people who did not live in the USSR want subconsciously that Russia be like the USSR. There will never be Russia like the USSR. And the social system is not the same and the resources of the state that built the powerful army and navy are given to people who do not care about Russia! And despite all sorts of nasty things, Russia is building submarines that will not give the enemy a chance to survive. I want the guys on this site to not swim so shallow.

RUSSIA IS SUPERPOWER !!! The United States just got the opportunity to steer the situation in the world for 20 years .. More of this will not happen again !!! And with the next attempt of lawlessness on the part of the United States, the Fleet, Strategists and Missiles are ready to launch! Maybe then the amers will understand what they are risking ?! To win, the Nazis tried to solve the mystery of the Russian soul. BUT, we are an interesting people - we go with St. George ribbons, boys, girls, children, all bear them, as a sign of respect and love for their people, their homeland. Patriotism can do what is incomprehensible to "money-makers." We can give all our money to build a super submarine. And we will do it. Thank God there are many more! For 200 rubles we will take off from the soul and success is guaranteed, but if we take off at 1 thousand !!! .... Nobody except the peoples of Russia is capable of this.

Patriotism is certainly good. Well, about the skin, I fundamentally disagree, it looks like you don’t have a house, a car, a child, you don’t notice that every month we don’t badly take off. It’s not just right for the state to make a modern fleet and army, for this money you can cover all the tanks and ships with gold and at the same time I consider myself a patriot and wish my native country prosperity and a strong army.

Meanwhile, “friends of the sworn”: “The American shipbuilding concern Huntington Ingalls Industries announced that its unit, the Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS), solemnly handed over to the US Navy the Minnesota nuclear submarine (SSN 783).
The latter, in the Block II variant, a Virginia-type submarine, was handed over to the state customer 11 months ahead of the contractual deadline, the Huntington Ingalls Industries press service said in a statement.
Is this the tenth, or what?
