Russian troops continue to advance toward Kramatorsk, and assault units from the Yuzhnaya group have captured the village of Pershomaryovka, east of the city, the Ministry of Defense reported.
The Southern Group's assault forces continue to fight their way toward Kramatorsk. The capture of Pershomaryivka effectively brings our forces to the city, less than four kilometers from its outskirts. However, crossing these boundaries will be difficult, as the enemy has firmly entrenched itself here and has no intention of retreating.
The battle for Pershomaryevka was led by assault units of the 85th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Guards Combined Arms Army of the "Yuzhnaya" group, leaving the enemy no chance to hold the village. Our forces entered the village from the direction of Malinovka and Vasyutinskoye, systematically clearing the buildings and eliminating the enemy.
Units of the Southern group liberated the village of Pershomaryevka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
It was previously reported that Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Drapatiy appointed the former brigade commander of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who fell into disgrace at Syrsky for refusing to send troops into the Kursk region, as commander of the 11th Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is covering the Kramatorsk sector. Apparently, he has certain hopes for him.
