There are plans to close the strait to all vessels with any connection to Israel or the United States, as confirmed by Alireza Salimi, a member of the Presidium of the Islamic Revolutionary Council of Iran.

Vessels belonging to the United States, the Israeli regime, and other hostile countries are prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Countries and individuals that have caused harm to Iran will not be granted passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf until compensation for the damage is provided.
