Donald Trump confirmed the previously announced information that Ukraine will be left without missiles- Patriot interceptors. According to him, Kyiv has already received plenty, but the US needs the missiles itself.

At a White House press conference, Trump responded to a reporter's question about Zelenskyy's request for interceptor missiles by declaring that the US also needs missiles, and that Ukraine has already received plenty under Biden. Thus, the US president dashed Kyiv's remaining hopes for interceptor missiles. Trump also blamed Biden for the current ammunition shortage, claiming he was handing out weapon Left and right, especially to Ukraine. Kyiv received "hundreds of billions" of dollars in military aid.

Trump also claimed that there was "progress" in the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. He didn't specify what exactly he was referring to, however, because no negotiations involving the US are underway; they have long been on hold. Kyiv expects Whitkoff and Kushner to visit Ukraine soon, after which some progress might be made. For now, though, Trump's statements are the only ones that have been made.
