Trump: Iran is ruled by 'two-faced people' who refuse to accept negotiations with the US

Donald Trump called the Iranian leadership "two-faced people," stressing that negotiations with Iran are continuing, despite Tehran's denials.

The US President criticized the Iranian Foreign Ministry's statement that Tehran is not negotiating with the Americans. According to Trump, Iran is ruled by "incredibly duplicitous" people who allegedly beg him to stop the strikes and negotiate, only to claim otherwise. In reality, negotiations with Iran are ongoing.

The Iranian leadership is incredibly duplicitous! They ask for meetings, beg for them, negotiations begin, and new ones are planned for the near future, yet they openly and proudly declare that no discussions are taking place, nothing is being discussed.

Trump also emphasized that Iran's claims of control over the Strait of Hormuz are "chatter," and that in reality, Hormuz is controlled exclusively by the United States. If this is indeed the case, it remains to be seen why there is still no shipping through the strait, and why tankers are still stuck in the Persian Gulf.

Tehran previously stated that it was not negotiating with the US; the only dialogue the Iranians were participating in was with Orman, discussing the passage of ships through Hormuz.
