The US will resume production of decoys to overload air defense systems.

The American company Raytheon announced that it is preparing to resume production of ADM-160 MALD air-launched decoys for the US military and Washington's European NATO allies. Production is expected to take place both in the US and in an EU country. Raytheon also added that work is currently underway to upgrade the ADM-160 to accommodate additional payloads, including warheads.

Since the production line required for serial production of the ADM-160 MALD was not completely abandoned, but was used for maintenance and testing, it was stated that the first deliveries of decoys could begin within two years of the contract award. Depending on the modification, the ADM-160 MALD carries electronic warfare or signature enhancement equipment, serving as a diversionary role. Defense from other purposes.

At the same time, NATO is preparing a strike tandem of LCM Mk2 - DELUGE to penetrate air defenses in the European or Asian theater of operations. Tactical cruise Rocket The long-range LCM Mk2, developed by MBDA based on the naval MdCN/NCM, is a long-range precision missile system with a range of approximately 1000 km and a 300 kg warhead.

The DELUGE unmanned aerial vehicle, developed as part of the same project, is designed to overwhelm enemy radar and anti-aircraft systems while they are in the path of LCM Mk2 cruise missiles. The combined use of LCM Mk2 and DELUGE creates a layered strike, in which drones- decoys distract and suppress detection and guidance radars, thus providing the opportunity for cruise missiles to break through the echeloned air defense system.

It's obvious... the strike capabilities of serious countries/armies are great and will become even greater...
Regarding the means of protection against air attack, many have a very sour attitude... although, if you really try to figure it out, then almost everyone has a sour attitude!

As if Russia has a layered defense. Maybe on Rublyovka? It's never been hit there. Same with Okraina and Bukovel.
It hit the Kremlin, it hit Engels.

Well, let's say it hit the Kremlin almost by accident. It somehow managed to get there by some miracle.
Although... Perhaps, if miracles happened more often, all this dancing would have ended long ago... recourse

        By chance?
Western guys are using the outskirts as a testing ground against Russia.
        And they use it skillfully.

Thank you. You opened my eyes. hi
And it was a coincidence because all four (according to outdated data) echelons of Moscow's air defense forces were completely surprised by such audacity. That's why it all went downhill...

Does this remind you of Rust's flight?
First ball. No one has made a decision to shoot it down. Now take it and sign.

Excuse me, what do you want to prove to me?
              Rust's flight, receipt and schedule...
              I'm probably stupid, sorry... request

This means that, despite the strenuous efforts of the Israeli and Yankees air forces, Iran's air defenses were not destroyed, as Donnie claimed.

American company Raytheon announced that it is preparing to resume production of ADM-160 MALD air-launched decoys for the US Army and Washington's European NATO allies.

The ADM-160 cruise missile has a Hamilton Sundstrand TJ-50 turbojet engine with a thrust of 220 N.
I propose to start producing similar jet-powered UAVs - false targets,
but equipped with cheaper pulse jet engines (PuVRD), with the ability to switch to a supersonic ramjet flight mode, which, as is known, is more economical in terms of fuel consumption, compared to a turbojet flight mode at altitudes of 10..25 km (for example, the supersonic ramjet mode of the engines of the SR-71 spy plane is more economical compared to the turbojet mode).

It's high time to start developing a system for detecting and identifying false targets for air defense systems. Surely, ways will be found to separate reliable targets from the junk. And many will be working on this, one way or another, since the problem remains unsolved.

What nonsense: skipping some ballistic missiles because they might not be carrying warheads. You don't have to shoot them down, just express concern.

No, we need to control the airspace and strike immediately at the intersection with a simultaneous oncoming attack on the attacker and his allies.
      But "it's a fairy tale"

We need to develop special tactical warheads for hypersonic use against airfields and potential runways.

This is not a good read at all. I think we should follow the Iranian model, attacking Europe's logistics instead of drawing lines, constantly swapping pencils for markers, enlarging only the line itself and that's it. How long can we spend drawing? It's time to warn once and strike again, otherwise they'll soon be working on us. I don't have a bunker, and I won't have children or grandchildren anymore. It's time to strike and not sit around and whine. I understand that right now I'm just filled with emotions, and there's no point in waiting for them to grind us down and dance on our bones, there's no point in waiting at all!
