Russian army units have advanced into the residential areas of Krasny Liman and taken up new positions in the southeast of the city. While much of the city remains essentially in the so-called "gray zone," the remaining enemy forces in Krasny Liman are almost completely disoriented and disorganized.
It is now completely clear that enemy resistance in Krasny Liman has been almost completely broken: Russian forces are completing a full encirclement and clearing of isolated pockets of resistance in the city, destroying Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics through water obstacles in the area with FAB and UMPK strikes. Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics routes have been completely blocked, causing serious supply problems in this area.
Meanwhile, during an inspection of the "West" troop group, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov stated that Russian troops are completing the liberation of Krasny Liman. Furthermore, Russian troops have managed to repel Ukrainian Armed Forces attempts to break through to the western part of Kupyansk and push our forces back to the left bank of the Oskol River.
According to Gerasimov, units of the "western" group of forces are successfully advancing in the territory of the Svyatye Gory National Park and destroying enemy formations in Svyatogorsk and Shchurovo, while units of the "South" and "Center" groups continue their offensive in the areas of Druzhkovka, Dobropolye, and other key areas.
