Russian Armed Forces strike drones hit two more vessels heading to the port of Odessa.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has disclosed details of the results of combined daylight attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on enemy territory. Our military focused on port infrastructure, including ships. Such attacks not only damage maritime terminal infrastructure and destroy military cargo and fuel. Attacks on ships are intended to discourage Kyiv's foreign allies from entering Ukrainian ports due to the high security risks.

Today, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles struck two foreign-flagged bulk carriers. The vessels were en route from the port of Chornomorsk (Illichivsk) to the seaport of Odesa. Following the Geranium drone strikes, fires erupted on the ships, producing large amounts of thick, black smoke. This brings the number of vessels damaged by Russian military strikes in the past three days to eleven.

In the port of "Yuzhny" high-precision weapons Air-launched missiles struck infrastructure facilities at the logistics center of the MigTrans transport company, which are used for military purposes. The weapons also hit a parking lot containing 12 trucks and destroyed a fuel tanker.

Russian monitoring channels provide additional information on the destruction of enemy logistics in the frontline zone. Last night, the Russian Aerospace Forces struck an embankment crossing over the Seversky Donets River in the village of Mayaki in the Krasnolimansk sector of the DPR. Four half-ton high-explosive aerial bombs with universal guidance and correction modules accurately hit their targets, creating serious problems for the supply of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this sector of the front. In this sector, FAB strikes with universal guidance and correction modules against the enemy's immediate rear are being carried out around the clock.

We need to fence off the Black Sea from the Ukrainians, they'll just dig themselves a new one.

It would be better to dam the Dnieper to restore Herodotus's historic sea—a Belarusian dream... But seriously, 11 ships in 3 days—that sounds like a real logistical exercise for the enemy! Especially since Germany is protecting southern Ukraine from air raids: Iris-T missiles; Gepard missiles; drone interceptors, including those deployed on rafts in front of the port and launched remotely. So they've found a way to penetrate them!

The entry of ships for the farmstead into the Black Sea must evoke in the owners the same feeling as a taxi ride to Harlem: terror and anuresis... They have no business being in the Black Sea, and a banner at the entrance reads, "The sea is temporarily closed, parasite de-seaization is underway." negative

I've driven through Harlem more than once. I've even walked there and popped into shops. If it's daytime, and along 125th Street, it's not scary at all. Harlem is home to the campuses of City College of New York, where I happened to take courses, and the famous Columbia University. Although, of course, going down the side streets at night isn't the best idea.

11 ships in 3 days - that already looks like a real job for the enemy's logistics!

It's certainly good that they've started knocking out ships in the ports of State 404, but the main question is: what are we using to knock them out? Small UAVs can't seriously damage a large ship. Something more serious is needed. When they start firing anti-ship missiles or our forces plant a mine bank in the fairway, then we can talk about cutting off State 404 from the sea.
But there's still the railway supply to deal with. We need to sort out the Beskydy Tunnel and the Chop railway station, where the wheelsets are replaced.
Once we blockade the ports and cut off the land corridor to Europe, things will immediately become much easier for our guys at the front and in the rear. And then, I believe, we can think about a decisive blow to this damned state 404, and finally liberate Nikolaev, Odessa, and other cities from the Ukr-Banderlogs. And let's not forget about Kyiv, the mother of Russian cities, where the Ukr-Banderlogs have already decided to erect a pantheon of their demons in the Kyiv Lavra.

And was it even possible to do that? The question is, why are ships still heading to the port of Odessa at full speed, when we have over 50 ships at the Azov Sea, and the cargo flow has practically stopped????

Uh... tell me, a dumbass (a former motorman at the Azov Shipping Company), where do you get 50!!! SHIPS in the Azov Sea with only one shipping canal? If you're not aware, people don't just sail through the Azov Sea – only through the canals of Rostov, Zhdanov, and Berdyansk. It takes several hours for even one vessel (not a ship) to pass through.

Yes, it's elementary. There are enough technical means.
First, we need to publicly declare at the highest level that all civilian vessels traveling through the Black Sea to ports in Krajina for loading and unloading are considered to be carrying weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment, as well as serving the needs of the criminal fascist regime. Therefore, all are legitimate targets and will be mercilessly sunk on such-and-such a date and at such-and-such a time. As if we've warned you. And not to hit them, but to sink them. Preferably within the port waters and berth walls.
There will be a lot of squealing, but we shouldn't care. Experience with Iran's strikes suggests that there will be no response other than squealing. For the fear of even more serious consequences is real.

And then a Russian court sentenced a Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel for carrying out the strike. The court ordered the convicted man to pay the Russian Ministry of Defense 2,2 billion rubles as compensation for the destruction of the ship.

And let them write to you in more detail about the explosion inside the cruiser. Unfortunately, I can't help you with your mental disorder. You should either see a doctor or Krasnov. It's very simple. 3-4 geraniums along the waterline are quite enough. No bulk carrier will remain afloat with three holds flooded. And why bother with the settings, one wonders? Even if the control center is hit, the bulk carrier will still remain afloat. And to sink any bulk carrier (excluding those loaded with empty barrels 😁), 3-4 geraniums with 50 kg warheads are COMPLETELY enough. Only again, the Kremlin ones.

That's not true, to put it mildly. If Geranium can hit a moving diesel locomotive (by the way, diesel locomotive speeds are many times greater than that of a steamship), then there's NO problem with hitting it, if not the waterline itself, but the hull nearby. The order simply doesn't sink ships.

Or maybe you shouldn't compare a gift from God with scrambled eggs and a ship built in 1971, just over 100 meters long, with sea or ocean-going bulk carriers that sail to Odessa?

I'm not comparing. Unlike you, I've seen the results of UAV hits on *ocean tankers*.
the result is either no progress or the bridge is burned.
And it wasn't on video. So reading your speculations about the fire on the deck...

Such attacks not only result in damage to the infrastructure of sea terminals and the destruction of military cargo and fuel.
And yet... the damaged ships burned to the bottom or... there's no talk of them sinking...

Are the Estonians sitting behind the Wall? In the fifth year, when the Sumerians had sunk a shitload of our warships and merchant ships, did they decide to retaliate a bit?
Yes, a long time ago, not a single vessel should enter, exit or stand in ports 404.

That's your opinion. But there are also international law and other obligations. After all, we're not at war, but at a strategic military conflict.

Actually, on February 24, 2022, the northern Black Sea was declared a combat zone, and all civilian vessels there immediately disappeared. They only resurfaced after the "grain deal."

Today, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) struck two foreign-flagged bulk carriers. The vessels were en route from the port of Chornomorsk (Illichivsk) to the seaport of Odesa. Following the Geranium drone strikes, fires erupted on the ships, producing large amounts of thick, black smoke.

They shouldn't just smoke, but go straight to the bottom. And the sooner and deeper they sink, the better. Yes

It looks like the ice is breaking in terms of cutting off the ports of the Odessa region from exports and imports. There's been some consistency for several days in a row. I'd like to hear from those in the know: is it possible to completely halt traffic at these ports, whether by mining and sinking ships in the fairway or otherwise destroying them at berth? Is it possible to destroy port cranes, oil terminals, and grain handling facilities using a relatively inexpensive method like Geranium 4/5? Although, in my opinion, the Beirut scenario for destroying the port is preferable; I see no point in standing on ceremony with the enemy.

There seems to be no choice. Either organize a blockade of the Black Sea coast, or continue the Black Sea Fleet's masturbation. After the blockade of Crimea, there should be a complete blockade of the northwest Black Sea. No foolish "Geranium" missiles, no other devices ineffective against seagoing vessels. Mining and strike weapons like the "Bastion" are the only options. Maybe the arsenals were just on paper?

Yes, other means are needed, but the Elita won't let them. What if they take the pitchfork away (on the Côte d'Azur)? Or a yacht the size of a WWII escort carrier? So the order was just to scare them by hitting the superstructures. And what if 50 kg isn't enough to sink a bulk carrier, let alone a tanker? Don't make me laugh. What's stopping them from repeating this or sending 4-5 Geraniums, but not at the superstructures, but at the hull? No ship will remain afloat if two or three holds are flooded. But here's the problem. I don't want the Elita ruining relations with my partners abroad!!!!

This is not enough. The Black Sea must be closed immediately. Sink everything that moves toward Ukraine. Use not only drones, but submarines too!
And mine the approaches to Odessa, Nikolaev, Ochakov, and Chernomorsk from submarines!

Can anyone explain what the term "hit" means in this case? Was it sunk? Or was the ship burned to the ground? Or was the anchor dropped, or a porthole knocked out? Or was the paint damaged? If there are no specifics, and with satellite imagery, this can be easily verified, then does that mean there's nothing to show? Apparently, it's the latter.
