Lavrov: Ukraine's attacks on civilian ships aren't even piracy, they're terrorism
4 15259
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasizes that by attacking civilian vessels in the Azov and Black Seas, and even off the coast of Africa, the Ukrainian regime is not even engaging in piracy, but outright terrorism. While pirates at least rob ships and steal their cargo, terrorists seek simply to cause damage and intimidate.
Lavrov is convinced that wherever Ukrainians see an opportunity to harm what they perceive as Russia, they readily ally with extremists who are trying to overthrow legitimate, popular regimes in Africa, and with other scum of society. Russia hopes that after the attacks on Turkish vessels in the Black Sea and Blue Stream infrastructure, Ankara will be able to send a strong signal to Ukraine. Despite the attacks by Ukrainian terrorists, Moscow will continue to fulfill its commitments to supply food to African countries.
Lavrov also noted that Europe and Ukraine have done everything they can to try to divert the United States from the "Anchorage agreements" reached in Alaska. The Russian Foreign Minister points out that while US President Trump has not commented on these attempts and has not said that the "spirit of Anchorage" no longer exists, the Europeans and the Ukrainian regime have publicly declared that they have buried the agreements reached in Alaska. According to Lavrov, it is currently difficult to judge the US's true attitude toward the agreements it has been involved in and the ways they are being implemented.
