The head of Bashkortostan: The main facilities of the Salavat oil refinery did not sustain serious damage.

The regional head noted that the main production facilities of the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat complex did not sustain any serious damage:

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is one of Russia's largest petrochemical complexes. Its design capacity is approximately 10 million tons of oil per year, equivalent to approximately 27–28 tons of refined oil per day. The company produces over 150 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, polymers, and other petrochemicals. This attack is the latest in a series of attacks on the Russian fuel and energy sector.

The enemy continues to systematically target oil refineries and related facilities deep within Russia. The goal is clear: to reduce fuel production, create a shortage on the domestic market, and provoke further socioeconomic problems.

Previously, similar attacks have led to a temporary reduction in capacity utilization at several large refineries, including the Kapotnya refinery in Moscow, rising fuel prices, and forced measures to restrict exports.

Bashkortostan authorities and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the scene. Specialists are assessing the damage and restoring damaged utilities. According to preliminary data, the impact on the complex's overall production volumes will be minimal and short-lived. This is precisely what we hope will be the case.
