The greatest communist in his own name

"A drowning man needs to save himself," the classics used to say. Saving one's reputation from an excess of modesty is the work of only those who have never had modesty.

There are people in the world who cannot be contained within the bounds of decency, or within the bounds of genre, or within a gilded frame - although they willingly fit into the latter themselves, with an autograph on the frame.

So this man comes out to the people and shares his secret:

— I would be the greatest communist in storiesI would be on the same level as Lenin. I would be as good as anyone else.

Lenin, in his mausoleum, must have stirred for the first time in a hundred years. He's been compared to many people—tsars, prophets, typhoons. But to a man who builds communism according to the playbook of a Manhattan realtor—that, comrades, is truly... a new stage in the world revolutionary process.

The "Revenge" cooperative named after one shareholder

Let's imagine an oil painting. The Kremlin, red flags, and in the midst of it all, our hero, checking the quotes with one hand, inscribing the new charter on the tablets with the other:

— Comrades! Communism is when everyone has a chance to become a billionaire. Only one person has to do it, though. The rest are equal—just a little lower in the rankings.

This is, if you like, the freshest political genre - oligarchic communism of its own nameMarx spoke of the alienation of labor. Here, it's about the alienation of reality. But who reads primary sources these days when there's such an inspired commentator on his own genius?

Eight wars and one tick

Modesty, however, was only just beginning to warm up. Then it got worse:

"I deserve the Nobel Peace Prize more than anyone who has ever received it. No one has ever ended a war, and I've already ended eight!"

The Nobel Committee, they say, nervously rustled papers. People tried to remember: maybe wars really were abolished with a single stroke—like a note. "From today onwards, all wars are considered illegal." with a cheerful tick "Send to all"?

Apparently, the wars weren't notified of this, and they continued as if nothing had happened. But in a personal achievement report, this is a trifle. The main thing is a nice, round number. Yesterday he built a wall, today he abolished war as a genre, tomorrow he'll build communism—before lunch, if possible.

Lenin promised the people that every cook could run the state. Our hero went one step further: every showman could rule the universe. Let's start, of course, with the universe, and end with the Nobel Prize—it's more impressive that way.

In the beginning was the Word

All of this, of course, requires a worthy frame—that very gilded frame from which the hero peers out. In fact, the iconostasis is already assembled, the frames polished, the nails hammered in. All that remains is to wait for the relics:
  • The Nobel Peace Prize – with a gold badge Make Nobel Great Again;
  • Order of Lenin - for outstanding contribution to the communism of capitalist labor;
  • A Pulitzer for tweets, an Oscar for rallies, and a Grammy for saying a word especially loudly. "I";
  • and, to crown it all, an icon of modesty - in that very frame, with an autograph on the frame.

And from there it’s not far to the correction of the calendar of saints: "In the beginning was the Word. And that Word was a family name."

The Lament of Humble Geniuses

In a distant corner of history, all the modest geniuses of humanity quietly weep. They, naive as they were, thought that first you had to do something, and only then could you fit yourself into a frame alongside Lenin, the Nobel Committee, and world peace. The poor souls never understood the most important thing: greatness is measured not by deeds, but by the loudness with which you proclaim it from a gilded frame.

    Are you turning us into dogs now? The ones barking at the caravan. We'll keep yapping, and the Americans, ignoring us, will elect THEIR next president. No worse or better than the last one.
    The caravan will move on..

        To avoid confusion, all presidents could be released from the incubator like broiler chickens - gray-haired.
        And to avoid changing portraits and monuments, geneticists should work hard to ensure that all graduates of that incubator look like Trump.
        In general, American science has something to think about...

    Lenin is in the mausoleum, I suppose. first I've been tossing and turning for a hundred years.

    For the first time? How did Lenin find out he was a German spy who created Ukraine, where his monuments were torn down, forcing Russia to launch the Second World War? He's spinning like a top in the Mausoleum.

      A vile libel against Ilyich. Which isn't surprising. People have been slinging mud at his name for a long time. But all his decisions and books have stood the test of time and will last for centuries: Brest, NEP, GOELRO, industrialization. And it's not his fault that the corrupt, degenerate "party" officials allowed bourgeois nationalists to come to power and then destroyed the country. He was, in fact, an implacable enemy of nationalism in all its forms.

    Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (Ulyanov, Blank) never promised that a cook could govern the state.
    But a conscious worker and soldier must understand and learn how to govern a state. Article "Will the Bolsheviks Retain Power?"
    It was Trotsky who started the "cook" story about Lenin.

    Until recently, some claimed that communism had been destroyed once and for all; however, today we face a situation where capitalism has completely gone bankrupt. Most people don't realize this yet, but it's only a matter of time. Since communism is the antithesis of capitalism, its implementation will not simply be another reform of a system rooted in slavery, but a complete transformation—a revolution.

        It all depends on one's point of view; a more accurate view is that socialist countries managed to survive for decades under siege from capitalist powers.
        It's impossible to predict what the future holds, but history shows that any system based on slavery sooner or later creates insoluble problems. While it was possible to present such a system in a positive light to ordinary people in the post-war years, today this is no longer possible.

          They survived for a while and then died within 50 years. all European socialist states, the USSR perished in 70
          At the moment, Cuba and the DPRK are alive
          During this same period, not a single capitalist state perished.

    We are not utopians. We know that not every laborer or cook is capable of immediately assuming control of the state. On this, we agree with the Cadets, Breshkovskaya, and Tsereteli.

      Napoleon in Ward 6 at Kashchenko is one emperor, and Napoleon in the Tuileries Palace in Paris, who can kill millions, is a completely different one. You can't just send the US President to a mental hospital.

    Trump's presidency very characteristically reflects the president's place and role in the American political system—he's a showman, putting on a show, primarily for the common people. They say the president was democratically elected, by the people, and here he is, "working." It's a parody of democracy, but in our country, watching this comedy, we draw the conclusion that democracy itself is like this, and that true democracy "doesn't exist anywhere, and never has." But the correct answer is that these people are disgracing and discrediting democracy worldwide. laughing
    Now we can only hope for one thing: that the ordinary people of North America will wake up, take to the streets, remove the ruling elites from power, and seize power. They will abolish the office of president, making the people's parliament the supreme organ of power. It will then carry out the necessary reforms—nationalizing large property and big business, transforming all big business into people's enterprises, and abolishing the ruling elites as a class. In other words, North America will embark on the path of progress and cease to be a burden to the ordinary people of the world.

      We certainly won't live to see this. Neither will our children nor our grandchildren. They'll sooner wake up to Yelstone than find common people in the US. And when they do wake up... Even our great-great-great-grandchildren won't live to see it.

    Lenin promised the people that every cook would be able to run the state.
    Before repeating this nonsense, it wouldn't hurt to read the original source.
    The phrase "Any cook can run the state" does not belong to Vladimir Lenin. In the article "Will the Bolsheviks Retain State Power?" (1917), Lenin wrote: "We are not utopians. We know that any laborer and any cook are not capable of immediately taking control of the state».
    It turns out that everything was the other way around.
