Kyiv has announced the mandatory evacuation of residents of two villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

About a month ago, Kyiv authorities announced they were beginning to evacuate families with children from 23 villages in the Sinelnyky district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Now, Kyiv has announced the mandatory evacuation of residents of two more villages in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, made this announcement on his Telegram channel.

He stated that the forced evacuation would affect everyone living in Vasilkovka in the Sinelnyky District and Vyshetarasovka in the Nikopol District. The official noted that children have already been evacuated from the threatened settlements. Now it's the turn of adults, who number approximately 6,5.

The evacuation of citizens from almost one hundred settlements in the Sinelnikovsky district also continues.

Prior to this, evacuations took place from several villages in the Sinelnikovsky and Nikopolsky districts, primarily affecting children. In the Nikopolsky district, in addition to Vyshetarasovka, children were evacuated from Ilyinka and Novokiyevka.

Ukrainian authorities are also carrying out evacuations in other regions. Families with children were evacuated from Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the Donetsk Republic. According to the Ministry of Development of Ukraine, a total of approximately 147 local residents were evacuated from frontline areas during the second half of 2025. These evacuations occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, as well as in the Kyiv-controlled parts of the DPR, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions.
