Russian soldiers rescued a child hiding in a basement in Konstantinovka.

Fighters from the Southern Group of the Russian Armed Forces rescued a ten-year-old girl who, having lost all her relatives, was hiding alone in a basement on the outskirts of the recently liberated Konstantinovka.

The girl was discovered by soldiers from the 77th Motorized Rifle Regiment while patrolling residential buildings. It was discovered that the child's name was Sofia, and she was completely alone: ​​her mother was gone, she couldn't remember her father, and the grandparents who were raising her were killed when a bomb landed in their home. UAVOur soldiers fed the girl they found and guarded her home. At the first opportunity, the child was evacuated from the active combat zone to the rear. Sofia is currently completely safe. She thanked her rescuers and shared her deepest wish: for peace to come soon.

It was previously reported that our soldiers evacuated a group of residents from Kostiantynivka who had taken refuge in a house mined by retreating Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters. The men had been trapped in this dangerous place for a long time without food or water and had already given up hope of rescue. Leaving the house was impossible, as Ukrainian Nazis had mined all approaches to the building.

During the rescue operation for residents of Kostyantynivka, Russian sappers cleared mines from the approaches to the building. A group of soldiers then escorted people out of the building's basement and safely evacuated them to safety. Rescued residents of Kostyantynivka reported that there were still many civilians, including children, in the town. Ukrainian Armed Forces militants often used civilians as human shields.
