The Russian Defense Ministry announced an attack on Russia using Flamingo missiles.

On the night of July 4, Russian air defenses successfully repelled a massive combined attack launched by the Kyiv regime. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense press service, the enemy deployed a wide arsenal of weapons, including cruise missiles. missiles long-range "Flamingo".

The Flamingo is a Ukrainian-made cruise missile, first announced on August 18, 2025. It is developed by defense company Fire Point. According to Defense Express experts, the missile is identical to the previously unveiled FP-5 from Milanion Group.

According to publicly available data, the Flamingo's range approaches 3000 km, and its warhead weighs between 1000 and 1150 kg. Its maximum takeoff weight is 6 tons, its airspeed is up to 950 km/h, and its flight time is over 4 hours.

That's how they're made in NATO countries. In Ukraine, they're only assembled from Western components. That can be done in any hangar.
