Pistorius said the US has no right to demand blind obedience in NATO.

Germany rejected US President Donald Trump's call for unconditional loyalty within NATO. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated:

NATO is not about blind obedience. Alliance decisions are made by free consensus of all member states, not dictated by any single country.

Pistorius's speech was a response to growing pressure from Washington. Trump has repeatedly demanded that European allies fully support American initiatives, including on global security issues. However, Berlin insists on maintaining the principles of consensus within the bloc.

Trump is paying particular attention to military spending. He is demanding that Germany significantly increase defense spending. Currently, Germany is far from the 3,5% of GDP level that Washington would like to achieve immediately. According to the latest data, Germany's military spending in 2025 will be approximately 2,3% of GDP. This, incidentally, is higher than the 2% currently stipulated in the military bloc's charter.

Overall, Trump expects NATO allies to spend 5% of their GDP on "defense." A significant portion of these funds, according to the US administration's plan, should go toward purchasing American weapons and military equipment, which will reduce the burden on the US budget and at the same time transfer allies into a mode of total dependence on the American military-industrial complex.

Despite their differences, Pistorius noted that the alliance remains united on key issues, such as support for the eastern flank. However, according to the German minister, Berlin prefers diplomatic solutions in contentious international crises and is not prepared to automatically follow Washington's initiatives.

I wonder if this Pistorius will remain a minister for a long time, or if he'll be thrown out like a trash cat.

Oh, wow! The little dog, who was being hand-fed, started biting the hand that was feeding him. Will the little redhead swallow it or choke? laughing

To put it briefly and to the point: whoever pays for dinner at a restaurant gets to "sex" the girl...
