From 27 November 1994 to April 1995, the division’s military personnel took part in a special assignment on the territory of Chechnya. Many paratroopers were awarded orders and medals, and five of them were awarded the title Hero of Russia.
The new Chechen war has not spared the division. All military units participating in the counter-terrorist operation on the territory of the Chechen Republic, with dignity and honor cope with the task. 283 of them for their courage and exemplary performance of combat missions are presented for awarding government awards. The participation of the 106 Airborne Division in the key events taking place in the country, the highest professionalism and the level of combat training made us talk about it both in Russia and abroad ... (c) "Little Brother"

28. Look at the results :)

30. This is my target.

It seems to be completely clean (except for the mark in the 7 zone). But in the lower left corner one can discern (in an enlarged photo) a barely noticeable trail from a bullet — in a centimeter from the edge of the green field.
My result is the same as wolfschanze: 1 from 10 :)

31. Then we arrived at the Dmitry Donskoy 51 regiment.

32. Here we observe how the paratroopers perform the elements of preparation for a parachute jump on VDK shells (springboard, slipway suspension systems, the UTP-76 simulator, the parachute tower).

Teplinsky Mikhail Yuryevich - commander of the reconnaissance company of the Guards Parachute Regiment of the 106th Guards Parachute Division of the Airborne Troops, Guard Senior Lieutenant.

Born on January 9, 1969 in the city of Mospino, now Donetsk region (Ukraine). In 1987 he graduated from high school.
By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 1, 1995, for the courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special task, the senior lieutenant Teplinsky Mikhail Yuryevich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the Golden Star medal (No. 123).

From December 1994 to March 1995 he participated in the battles of the First Chechen War. On a tragic day on January 1, 1995, at the head of a group of scouts, he made his way to the city center, to the area of the railway station, where the military equipment of the dead units of the 131st Maykop motorized rifle brigade was still burning. He identified a building towering above the surrounding neighborhood and the buildings of the station and customs. The mastery of this building made it possible to control the entire area. Sneaking into the building, the paratroopers silently destroyed the group of militants inside it, including two grenade launchers and one sniper.

A few hours later, the first large group of Dudaevites (12 people), walking around in rapture from the victory won, fell under the heavy fire of the paratroopers. All attempts by the enemy to recapture the building ended only with new losses of the attackers. For several days, the company of M.Yu. Teplinsky successfully repelled the attacks of the enemy, and part of the time - in full surroundings. In total, during the defense of the building, the paratroopers destroyed 44 militants. The courageous defense of the paratroopers made it possible to keep the adjacent Grozny region under the control of Russian troops. From here began the operation to liberate the city. When the subordinates of M.Yu.Teplinsky went out to their own, there was not one dead among them, only five soldiers were injured.

He distinguished himself in further battles during the crossing of the Sunzha River. When walking around posts on a busy bridgehead, one of the sergeants in his company suddenly ran into 10 militants. In a fleeting battle, M.Yu. Teplinsky and the sergeant destroyed 5 militants. Then, with reinforcements arrived, the reconnaissance company commander combed the area. At the same time, another enemy group was identified, of which 12 militants were destroyed on the spot. During the period of hostilities, M.U.Teplinsky had about 30 militants destroyed on his personal combat account. While still in the Chechen Republic, he was promoted in rank and position: he became captain and intelligence chief of the airborne regiment.
