One of the world's largest warehouse fires has broken out at a US warehouse.

The American company Medline Industries is considered one of the country's leading suppliers of medical products to hospitals and medical centers. Yesterday, one of the world's largest warehouse fires broke out at the company's US medical supply warehouse.

The American television channel ABC7 reports this.

This warehouse, located in Tracy, California, is considered perhaps the largest medical supplies storage facility in the world. The fire, visible from several kilometers away, virtually completely destroyed the massive complex, covering approximately 92 square meters, in just a few minutes.

It's likely that no one was injured in the massive fire. The administration responded quickly, promptly evacuating approximately 120 employees from the facility.

According to Randall Bradley, the city's fire chief, the automatic fire suppression system somehow failed to activate during the fire, and there was no water in the fire hydrants. This greatly complicated the firefighting effort, which continued today. Experts estimate it will take several days to resolve the matter.

Several dozen fire crews are currently involved in the firefighting effort. The city administration is considering increasing the number of firefighting equipment and specialists deployed.
