The United States has opened another military base abroad.

The US Navy has established another overseas military base. This time, it is a so-called auxiliary base in Perth, Western Australia. The opening of the new American military facility is part of the AUKUS trilateral defense partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This decision follows a joint statement on May 30 confirming the completion of key stages in the creation of the Zapad rotational submarine force.

The American forces at the new Stirling base are intended to provide a rotational presence for American and British nuclear submarines.

The Vice Admiral stated that the establishment of the base together with AUKUS partners demonstrates the willingness to support fleet, military personnel, and their families. Apparently, American admirals have no other option to support their military personnel and their families other than establishing a military base in Australia...

Providing essential services to American personnel and their families will enhance the combat readiness of the rotational submarine force, he said.

In October 2024, the U.S. Naval Forces Regional Command Japan was tasked with establishing the Stirling base. The U.S. Naval Forces rotational force was established with the approval of the Australian government. Rear Admiral Ian Johnson, Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Regional Command Japan, noted that the work is in its early stages, and despite the significant challenges ahead, close collaboration with AUKUS partners ensures confidence in success.

"As part of the AUKUS trilateral defense partnership between Australia, Britain, and the United States." What an unusual group, at first glance. But if you consider where the British and American elites would go after they launch the "destruction of the world," Australia seems the most suitable. laughing
