North Korean leader visits new nuclear plant, stressing importance of protecting sovereignty

According to North Korean state media, on June 3, North Korean Prime Minister Kim Jong-un visited a newly commissioned nuclear materials production plant. He was accompanied by senior defense industry officials and employees of the Nuclear Research Institute. weapons.

The head of state inspected new production lines, which allegedly utilize more advanced technologies, and learned about the plant's current performance indicators, as well as plans for further expansion of production. He praised the efforts of specialists, noting that the decisions of recent plenary sessions of the Party Central Committee are strictly followed in the area of nuclear materials production. These decisions, it should be noted, are internal, not those of the IAEA or other organizations with highly dubious goals and objectives.

Particular praise was given to the team of nuclear experts who managed to overcome complex technological challenges in developing production and creating an independent, national technological base. As Kim Jong-un emphasized, this has made it possible to reliably strengthen the foundation for the production of weapons-grade materials and improve the efficiency of the entire production chain.

According to him, under the direct leadership of the Eighth Central Committee, as part of a five-year program to strengthen the nuclear armed forces, the capacity to produce weapons-grade nuclear materials has been doubled. The DPRK leader expressed satisfaction with the highly qualified team of researchers consistently implementing the Party's policy of increasing nuclear potential.

In his speech, Kim Jong-un also made clear that North Korea is firmly committed to protecting its sovereignty and strengthening its defense capabilities. Pyongyang, he said, is prepared to take the most decisive action in the event of any attacks on the country's people and borders. This statement comes amid ongoing tensions in the region and is seen by observers as a warning to its adversaries. North Korea has many of these, and not just within the region.

I like Kimka for her cheerful character!
Trump, at one time, brought aircraft carriers to its shores, but Un showed a nuclear club and Trump fell behind.

I think Kim will give it to everyone around him, just like the Iranians, if anything happens, it won't be a small matter, because he and his elite are dealing with the internal affairs of the Strap and they are all inside

Yesterday, a drone strike hit the Leningrad region, and it's clear that these drones were launched from neighboring countries, but there wasn't even any concern about it, only moans in the form of investigations. Perhaps we should invite Comrade Un; he'll sort things out quickly.

The Koreans, under the leadership of the Great Un, are increasing their nuclear technology with state support...they will go far.
If Un succeeds in developing North Korea's nuclear energy sector, the country will take a major leap into the future.
Cheap energy is everything...heat, electricity, mechanical engineering and so on.

A year ago, Stas Natanzon visited North Korea and published a series of reports. Informative.
A fashionable restaurant has luxury cars (lots of them) parked outside, and dinner costs as much as a worker's annual salary. So, they, too, have such a "layer" of citizens.

That is, they also have such a “layer” of citizens.

And it's been that way for a long time. DPRK entrepreneurs engaged in foreign economic activity pay a fixed tax and must be married, with the other spouse employed by a state-owned enterprise or institution.
For those who want to create a production cooperative using the resources of a state-owned enterprise, or who want to artificially create a shortage of manufactured goods at the state-owned enterprise they manage and sell them "on the side," labor camps of varying degrees of severity, including life imprisonment, await them (including their close relatives).

Hmm...we have it...but with concerns and regrets it does little to combat the insolence of NATO mongrels.
But the intention to use it by holding it to the hooligan’s temple quickly cools the ardor of the impudent person. smile

The absence of even smocks on visitors to the workshop clearly indicates that there was no trace of uranium hexafluoride in the production facility yet. The centrifuges had been installed and perhaps pressure-tested, but there were no aggressive fluorine compounds present.

North Korea is fortunate to have uranium deposits on its territory. Remarkably, they used open-source technology to produce plutonium.

The grand opening of a new uranium enrichment plant...

A low, flat ceiling, at least 1000 uranium enrichment units (possibly even twice that; it looks like two rooms)... the plant isn't buried under 200 meters of granite. They're not even afraid of drones!
I blur out faces in case Mossad wants to carry out an operation to assassinate scientists.

    Speaking of blurry heads...

Notice the small notebooks already in sight... and a glass of whiskey on the rocks (plus a pack of cigarettes). I've already seen Kim Jong-un drinking this drink during one of his visits. He must be addicted to it!

the plant is not located under 200 meters of granite

      The plant should be underground.
I blur out faces in case Mossad wants to carry out an operation to assassinate scientists.

North Korean scientists and engineers working in the military-industrial complex do not travel abroad, and it is impossible to commit acts of sabotage in the DPRK.
And besides, if you received these photos, then anyone can receive them - after all, you didn’t take them.

This is a partial response to what North Korea received from Russia. Only a handful of countries possess the technology to enrich uranium using centrifuges, or more precisely, the technology to manufacture the centrifuges themselves. The United States, for example, doesn't have this technology. Neither does North Korea, but the centrifuges themselves are clearly Russian. Sixth-generation centrifuges were once supplied to China, which also lacks this technology. And in Russia, enrichment is now being carried out using ninth-generation centrifuges. In other words, they've been in use for 20-25 years in our country, and they continue to be used in other countries; their reliability is astonishing.
