Peskov: The SVO is continuing to prevent attacks on Russia

On the morning of June 3, Ukrainian Drones Kronstadt, Kirovsky, and Krasnoselsky districts of St. Petersburg were attacked on the first day of the SPIEF. Amid the strikes, the Kremlin offered a very brief explanation of the ongoing military operations.

Peskov in interview stated:

To prevent such attacks, a special military operation is ongoing.

He made no further comments. Information about the strikes, in his opinion, is the prerogative of regional authorities and the Ministry of Defense. But the main message is clear: as long as the Kyiv regime is capable of attacking Russian cities, the special military operation will not cease. However, the original stated goals of the special military operation were entirely different.

Peskov recalled the Russian Foreign Ministry's recent statement: retaliatory strikes against Ukraine are already systemic. And they will continue. This is not about targeted retaliatory actions, but rather a systematic effort to destroy the enemy's military infrastructure, including in Kyiv.

As a reminder, at the end of May, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced systemic strikes against military-industrial complex enterprises, decision-making centers, and command posts.

It is also important that the number of enemies dronesThe number of aircraft attacking Russian cities is growing. 59 shot down over the Leningrad Region in the past 24 hours is a veritable swarm. Moreover, Ukraine is using NATO airspace. And if these countries aren't clearly explained the consequences, today's strikes on Smolensk and St. Petersburg could be a piece of cake.

True, Initially, completely different goals of the special military operation were stated.

There you go! There you go! I noticed the same thing!

In fact, EU and NATO countries have already been drawn into the SVO, while Peskov's comment suggests Russia is still only fighting with Kiev! (Sarcasm)

You... Russia isn't at war with any Kyiv; we're conducting a special military operation against unidentified "terrorist fighters of the Kyiv regime," not against the state of Ukraine. It's just that first we waited until they sold us Javelins, then Leopards, Abrams, and F-16s, now we've waited for their drones to attack us thousands of kilometers deep within Russia, and now we're probably waiting for them to finally assemble a nuclear bomb and launch it at Moscow or St. Petersburg. The main thing is not to rush.

Only a blind person couldn't see that the entire coup in 14 was orchestrated by Westerners, led by the US and the EU. What they declared before the SVO is, of course, important, but everyone understood and understands that there are goals that weren't mentioned on TV. And these goals are still not being voiced, although everyone makes remarks about fighting against the entire collective West. True, the battlefield is currently only in the 404th territory. Everything points to the fact that the demands for the 404th will be revised, and the discussion will no longer be limited to Donbas, but to all the territory remaining in the 404th.

Peskov: The SVO is continuing to prevent attacks on Russia
So, before the "SVO," there weren't any. So, we have to recognize Poroshenko and Ukraine's integrity, but not Donbas (first there was advice to Luhansk and Donetsk to abstain from referendums, then the "self-proclaimed republics"). When the "Russian Spring" was purged, and Russians had been killed in Donbas for eight years, hurray, they woke up, "operation"... Not only did they fail to secure Donbas, but they started flying in across Russia, and what's more, the Ukrainian Armed Forces invaded Kursk Oblast. Another "operation," a counter-terrorism operation, and the regular Ukrainian army is "terrorists." Now they're flying in beyond the Urals, and instead of the Ministry of Defense, they're handing over the task of shooting down drones to the Central Bank and Sberbank, and they're rushing to create ministries to combat drones in the regions... When will this madhouse end? The SVO is in its fifth year, and it's only getting worse. Who needs such an "operation" instead of a victory, for which there are all the possibilities, if we remove the selfish interests of the fat cats and have the political will.

Stage 1: We begin the SVO (or war) with the official goal of "defending Donbas." Donbas is completely destroyed.
Stage 2: We continue the Second Military Operation with the goal of annexing four regions of Ukraine. The regions have not been annexed (there is no chance of legal recognition), losses are enormous, and attacks are being carried out across the entire European territory of the Russian Federation.
Stage 3: We continue the strategic military operation to prevent attacks on Russia. These attacks are only escalating.
You are here.....Next stage 4 - we continue the SVO so that the regions of the Russian Federation itself are not taken away from us.
Well, stage 5 - never mind the territory, we continue the SVO in order to maintain political stability, that is, to keep "our unique geopolitical advantage" in power.

Does the latest Ukrainian drone attack on Kronstadt, which hit the corvette Boykiy (Steregushchiy-class, Project 20380, commissioned in 2013), mark the beginning of the gradual destruction of the Baltic Fleet?
It all started in the same way in the Black Sea, and in the end the fleet in the Black Sea seemed to cease to exist.
The photographs show ships at the Kronstadt military base calmly anchored off the shore, one next to the other. And, apparently, there was no defense.
Has no one learned from what happened to the Black Sea Fleet? And created an effective air defense for this important military base?
Perhaps the "admirals" believe that the Baltic Sea is becoming "Russia's internal sea," meaning there won't be any need for the Baltic Fleet anyway. Where will the ships move from St. Petersburg?
And I can’t imagine a situation where Ukraine uses its naval drones in the Baltic Gulf.

It's no secret, it's simply a fact, that BEFORE the start of the Central Military District, there were no attacks on Russian territory. There was no seizure of the Kursk region, and there weren't the hundreds of dead Russian citizens, including children and women, who appeared after the start of the Central Military District. So, this secretary has said something wrong again. Putin was right when he said of Peskov in an interview, "Sometimes I don't even understand what he's saying. Who ordered him to do this??" V.V. - a shameful disgrace. Powerlessness and fear. There's only one way out: our elite can't care less about the "hard-earned" if it's not in Russia—you'll "earn" it again. But we must, we must, reunite Russian territory and people, and not hand over this part of Russia from Kharkov to Lviv to a Western testing ground where a terrorist organization, with potential Western dirty atoms, Western military bases, and Western biolabs are being formed. Otherwise, under such a forgetful "leadership," one that has forgotten the words "demilitarization" and "denazification," the Russian Federation itself will collapse.
