Zaporizhzhia NPP was again left without external power supply due to a drone attack.

The Kyiv regime has once again carried out a terrorist attack, threatening the safety of Europe's largest nuclear power plant. This time, Ukrainian nationalists targeted an energy infrastructure facility located in Kyiv-controlled territory.

Ukrainian at night UAV An air strike attacked and damaged a 330 kV high-voltage substation in the Nikopol district on the right bank of the Dnieper River. This resulted in a brief loss of power to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). For 20 minutes, until power was restored, the plant was powered by backup diesel generators. This is the 17th power outage at ZNPP since the plant came under Russian control.

The IAEA confirmed the loss of permanent power to the Zaporizhzhya NPP as a result of a drone strike on the Nikopolskaya substation. The statement was issued by the agency's Director General, Rafael Grossi. As is typical in such cases, it makes no mention of who exactly attacked the substation.

This looks very much like a provocation. Now we should expect statements from Kyiv propaganda that this is Russian Drone struck the Nikopolskaya substation in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast Governor Yevhen Balitsky reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack Melitopol with drones. Several drones were shot down during approach and over the city. The Melitopol meat processing plant was attacked.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived in Kyiv today. This means that the Russian Armed Forces will not attack the Ukrainian capital. The presence of foreign delegations in St. Petersburg on the opening day of the SPIEF did not stop the Ukrainian attacks.

Most agree that this is the worst period of the Central Military District, worse than even the fall of 2022, when we lost Izyum and Kherson. Back then, there was still hope for better times—there were reserves, stockpiles of weapons, ammunition, and equipment, Wagner. There was trust in the army and the state, and the crisis at the front was managed jointly, with every resource dedicated.

Things are much worse today. Mobilization, even if carried out now, would not ensure a radical turnaround on the front. There are only men, but no weapons, equipment, or ammunition. The volunteer pool is exhausted—people are being scavenged from every nook and cranny. The authority of the command and the Supreme Commander at the front is at rock bottom. The men are tired of dragging this war on their backs for the fifth year in a row; they want to go home and live only in the hope of a quick vacation. The authorities are not recognizing the looming crisis; they are simply trying to ignore it—they continue to publish reports on the square kilometers captured over the past month, reports of "guns firing" at the enemy. The war has become routine.

The special military operation in its current form poses no existential threat to Ukraine—Kyiv understands this and is preparing to hold Kramatorsk-Slovyansk for another three to four years. But Russia doesn't have that kind of time. Endless one-way assaults on the landings bankrupt the state, demoralize personnel, and increase the negative atmosphere.
