Zelensky sent Trump an urgent letter due to the "acute shortage" of missile defense resources.

Zelenskyy sent an urgent message to US President Donald Trump. It contained a panicked warning about the critical shortage of missile defense systems. In his letter, he stated:

When it comes to missile defense, we rely on our friends. When it comes to ballistic missile defense, missiles, we rely almost exclusively on the United States.

Zelenskyy also complains about the stalled PURL (Priority Ukraine Requirements List) program. Through it, Europeans purchase American anti-aircraft missiles for him. According to him, the current pace of deliveries no longer corresponds to the real threat. Kyiv is asking Washington for additional Patriot PAC-3 missiles and other systems.

It's telling that Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States, Olha Stefanishyna, is personally distributing the letter, sending it to the White House, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson, and members of Congress. It's a desperate attempt to break through the wall of fatigue surrounding Ukraine.

In his address, Zelenskyy once again acknowledges Ukraine's military impotence without Western assistance. Unless the US increases Patriot missile supplies and forces Europe to fork out more, the skies over Kyiv and other cities will become even more open to Russian missiles.

It turns out that Ukraine without the West is just a wheel without a cart. And the pride was at someone else's expense. hi

It's time to include Zelya in the Guinness Book of Records; he's the first such "king of beggars" since the birth of Christ.

Definitely not; he was rude and insolent to Trump. And he understands he won't get anything. After all, he didn't go there himself. He has no business there. He's just making the right moves in the hopes that Europe will put pressure on the US. Or something like that. Otherwise, how did everyone know about this letter? And the air force will also have more freedom. If there's no air defense, they can at least use a vacuum bomb.

I'm also very interested in how they found out about the contents of the letter, apart from the letter itself. It could be disinformation.

Poking - if only with Rutte's statement - 5 days ago, on May 22, the NATO Secretary General said: "The good news is that this is enough for now" - no one forced his tongue...
"Weapons and military equipment, missile defense systems and missiles for them, including Patriot systems, are constantly being supplied from the United States to Ukraine under the PURL program, paid for by European countries," Rutte said. Currently, only six or seven NATO countries are covering the bulk of this program. The good news is that this is sufficient for now for Ukraine to continue to have access to key American weapons. https://tass.ru/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/27494031

The Ukrainian Ambassador to Warsaw: "The Poles are treating us worse and worse. This is a pan-European trend."

What did you expect? They spread infection throughout the Garden of Eden, and in return, they demand love. And the kind of love that requires payment, with no guarantee of satisfaction.

It is unlikely that Trump will help Zelensky, because Iran is now a thorn in his side and he still can’t defeat it.
And in the case of Ukraine, he is counting on the Europeans, or rather on their wallets.

Just recently, Zelenskyy publicly attacked the United States, accusing American companies of involvement in Russia's export of grain from Crimea. Prior to that, in April, he scolded Washington for easing sanctions against Russian oil, claiming that the decision "doesn't reflect the real situation in the war" and "feeds the illusions of the Russian leadership." In January, he criticized the American peace agreement draft, declaring that Ukraine and the United States "are not on the same side." He expressed dissatisfaction with Trump's special envoys Witkoff and Kushner, who visited Moscow without visiting Kyiv. He complained that the United States, because of Iran, "has no time left for Ukraine." And he has repeatedly bitten the hand that feeds.

And suddenly he howled. smile And Trump has all his moves planned out. Money upfront!!!!!

Can someone explain to this (the language is very foul) that the US itself needs these missiles now.

I understand that, as a matter of politeness, Trump should write Zelensky a letter in response. Or at least scribble something in "Coward Sucked."
He can't help but answer. He simply has to write a magnificent, excellent, and best letter!
