Russian Foreign Minister: Like Biden, Trump continues to impose new sanctions against Russia

Like former US President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump continues to impose new sanctions against Russia. His administration is doing roughly the same thing as the previous one.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made this statement during a briefing.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted:

Already under the Trump administration, more and more independent, so to speak, new sanctions are being adopted, in addition to the fact that all of Biden's sanctions are regularly extended.

Thus, the change of power in the United States did not have a particularly strong impact on Russian-American relations.

However, a certain warming of relations between Moscow and Washington is impossible to ignore. And just recently, Russian government officials and media outlets have tried to avoid negative statements and harsh criticism of the American administration.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry identified the main purpose of the United States' sanctions against Russian companies. He stated that they are being done to force them out of the market. In particular, Lavrov noted, this applies to Russian oil giants:

The goal (it's not hidden) is to remove Lukoil and Rosneft from all international business. And now their international businesses are being systematically taken away.

At this point, Washington's easing of pressure on Russian oil exporters cannot be ruled out. This is being demanded by US partners, particularly in Asian countries, as well as the overall crisis in the international energy market.

Apparently, they not only thought about it, but also had great hopes. They're still sitting and waiting for negotiations.
If you're going to publicly complain about the scoundrels in the US, you need to do so with countermeasures and counteraction. What's the point of simply stating the obvious?

The belief in a "kind and cooperative West and the USA" is naive and stupid!

What's more interesting is why Lavrov is expecting a "thaw" in relations? For as long as I can remember, the country has been under sanctions. recourse

...there are reasons there. There are. But they are not our reasons. They need a cooperative West.

Why the hell didn't they take everything they had back in 14? The sanctions would have been the same, but maybe we wouldn't have had to fight. No, we're always looking up our partners' asses and mouths. Partners!

Partners = Courchevel and bills and kids there. Well, it's like you just don't get it... yeah, simplified. But! Why is DAM so against the West? Is it because his kid was thrown out and didn't have a chance? Or did something suddenly wake up? No?

I say it seditiously, yes. And?

I'd be surprised if it were otherwise. He's just carrying out the will of the shadow government.

Well, we were told from every corner of the world that Trump had come to fight this shadow government; Trump himself talked about it before the election. It turns out that under the guise of fighting Soros, Soros is coming to power with a different rhetoric.

All wars on earth were started over money, resources, and markets! They were started exclusively by those in power who could not reach an agreement among themselves, and ordinary people died for their interests.

Only a few weaklings could be fooled by the stench of Anchorage. Who told them there wouldn't be new sanctions or that the old ones would be lifted? The spirit of Anchorage? A liar just like Trump.
How much longer can we believe in the impossible, in miracles? It's as if we're not living in a fairy tale, with no sign of rivers with milk and honey banks or any other fairytale trappings. And that there are friends in America, and in Europe too, friends and partners ready to tear their pants off to please Russia. And every time, with their ears perked up, carefully prepared for the hype, our diplomats beat a dead horse. Is this a case of pathological learning disabilities, or perhaps just simple stupidity?
By the way, Hungary signed ALL the sanctions packages. They got oil from us, they don't need us anymore. They can sell oil and diesel fuel to Ukraine. Nothing personal, just business. And yet, with the stubbornness of idiots, we continue to pump oil through the Druzhba pipeline.
Why are there so many questions? There is no one to answer them clearly.

What's stopping Lavrov and his ilk from imposing retaliatory sanctions? For example, banning the children and grandchildren of government officials from visiting EU countries and the US for tourism, business, or study at Western educational institutions. Or are the people surrounded by enemies, while their own sweethearts get the best of everything?

We're weak, and we don't want to ruin our children and grandchildren, so we have to find a way to cope. Yes, there's pride, but we'll have to hide it for now. Think of the events before the wars; they're almost identical, but how can we stand firm? Iran has been almost completely demolished, and will continue to be demolished; they'll just keep bringing in the shells. And what the Persians will do is their final say.
