The Russian Armed Forces struck a Panamanian-flagged vessel heading to the port of Ilyichevsk.

Russian forces struck a Panamanian-flagged vessel in the Black Sea, according to Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Administration. The target was heading to the port of Illichivsk (Chernomorsk) along the so-called "Black Sea corridor." Local authorities reported a fire broke out on the ship, which the crew extinguished themselves. There were no injuries, and the vessel continued on its way after the fire was extinguished.

However, Kyiv's "patriots" once again chose to remain silent about the most important thing. According to Kyiv, the ship was carrying 35 tons of vegetable oil. Given that Ukraine's port infrastructure has long been used for defense and logistics by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, any commercial transport bound for Odesa automatically becomes suspicious. It's highly likely that this ship was delivering dual-use cargo or, for example, fuel for the Ukrainian army.

Russia has repeatedly warned that the use of civilian vessels for military purposes or their presence in a combat zone makes them legitimate military targets. The Ukrainian authorities' promotion of the hits as "shelling of civilian ships" is a common propaganda ploy to portray Russia as the aggressor.

What are you waiting for? It's written there—they put out the thrown match. They should have sunk it, or better yet, laid mines and warned everyone that the coastal waters of the VNA are mined. That's the only way!
(Although, perhaps, there is an agreement here regarding mutual non-mining of the World Cup waters. In that case, ports with terminals should be bombed.)

And this little fire—is this what they call a ship's destruction? Enough of making people laugh...just to stoke the ship and nothing else.

Somehow it's poor quality, but they "struck" me.
I could cobble together a "defeat" like that from whatever they sell at Auchan. And any kid of Soviet descent could probably do the same.

          "Defeat" is not counted.
It would be possible to count them as "warnings", but they don't count anymore - the bag with them is overflowing...

The West loves to combine the incompatible. For example, because of the downing of a Ukrainian drone in the Baltics, their Foreign Ministry, for some reason, summoned our ambassador.
What if we try it too?
For example, declare a COMPLETE naval blockade of Ukraine and tie it to the American blockade of Cuba. Ignore Europe's squeals. Don't react to Ukraine at all—thanks to the kindness of our leaders, they have intact railways and bridges. Let them import their vegetable oil from there.

Now that would be politics! The US has "national interests" in Iran. Why can't we have the same in Cuba? We haven't got our hands on it yet? So we'll have to double-check who's got the hands on it and who's sticking it where it's not wanted...

A Russian attack drone damaged the Chinese cargo ship KSL Deyang in the Black Sea as it approached ports in the Odesa region on the morning of May 18. According to Ukrainian authorities, the ship was flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, was owned by a Chinese company, and had a crew of Chinese citizens. At the time of the attack, the bulk carrier was unloaded and en route to the port of Pivdennyi, where it was scheduled to load iron ore concentrate.

Russia has repeatedly warned that the use of civilian ships for military purposes or their presence in a combat zone makes them a legitimate military target.

It looks like this was another, 100500th, Kremlin warning. Or more likely, it wasn't even a warning, but rather just a Kremlin command to pretend they were doing something, when in reality they're just feigning a "war at sea" to reassure the public (but it's coming off poorly, even disgustingly). It's understandable—they're just like their colleagues and businessmen on the other side, their own, so to speak. How can you offend your own people? You'll have to do business with them later...
P.S. Although, if you really wanted to, you could sink—and I mean sink, not damage—all the ships in ports 404 in a day, maybe less. All it takes is the political will of the country's leadership and the balls of that leadership. The Iranian leadership has balls (respect and admiration to them), but ours doesn't. Another piece of stupid information from the series "just to publish it!"
    At any cost.

Local authorities reported a fire broke out on the ship, which the crew extinguished themselves. There were no injuries, and the vessel continued on its way after the fire was extinguished.

Russian Armed Forces unpleasantly struck with his prank a vessel under the Panamanian flag heading to the port of Ilyichevsk

Local authorities reported that a fire broke out on the ship, which the crew extinguished themselves. There were no injuries, and the vessel continued on its way after the fire was extinguished. ... It is highly likely that this ship was delivering dual-use cargo, such as fuel for the Ukrainian army.

So, the ship did deliver the cargo.

I see that the State University education is bearing fruit; people have lost their understanding of Russian words and the meaning of sentences constructed from them, even correspondents and authors. Just because something is burning on the hatch doesn't mean the ship is damaged or has sustained any damage other than damaged paintwork. Our gas carrier in the Mediterranean was damaged, as was a bulk carrier near Gibraltar, but that's only a problem for the chief and the boatswain—not even a problem, but an inconvenience caused by unscheduled work. The website, which was once supposedly more serious and relevant, has completely intimidated and silenced everyone in the "vertical." It seems things are not going well in our "kingdom" (or not ours for a long time), and the plan has disappeared or is no longer of interest to the upper class.

Good, but not enough! We're waiting for the "banquet" to continue.
