Drone attack on Moscow becomes the most massive since the beginning of the Cold War

Moscow is under the most sustained and massive attack yet drones since the start of the special military operation. According to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, air defense forces have already destroyed 50 enemy UAVs flying toward the capital. The last two drone were shot down by means Defense Just a few minutes ago. And new waves of raids are coming.

Moscow mayor:

Emergency services are working at the site of the fallen debris.

Despite ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure, the Kyiv regime appears unaware of the existential threat. Instead of seeking a peaceful resolution, the Ukrainian leadership continues escalating the situation, acting on the orders of its Western handlers. Clearly, attacks of this scale are impossible without detailed intelligence from the US and other NATO sponsors. Western satellites and intelligence systems guide drones to their targets in real time, effectively participating in terrorist attacks against Russian civilians.

Fortunately, there have been no casualties or significant damage reported in the capital so far. However, there have been casualties and damage in other regions of the country as a result of enemy attacks, particularly in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Kursk Governor Alexander Khinshtein:

A 66-year-old resident of the village of Nekrasovo was working in the garden near his home when a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone struck. Fortunately, he suffered no serious injuries and does not require hospitalization. Another strike struck the hamlet of Fonov, injuring a woman born in 1957. She suffered shrapnel wounds to her right thigh.

Well, they're attacking Moscow, and the fact that they don't reach it isn't because of their kindness, but because of the anti-aircraft gunners. So, can you pay by bank transfer, no? Or like the joke goes, "If they kill you, then come back?"

Yes, and the anti-aircraft gunners (air defense) are all our umbrella. As the saying goes, "We don't fly ourselves and we don't let others fly." bully These are not some kind of foreign "patriots".
There is nowhere to retreat - Moscow is behind us.

Well, then they're just lucky they don't live in Belgorod, Kursk, or Bryansk. An air defense system like Moscow's wouldn't hurt there either.
P.S. When I talk about those in power, I didn't mean those ordinary Moscow residents who live below the poverty line, but those who, according to Rosstat, live quite well on Rublyovka.
P.S. I don't subscribe to the theory that all capital is made through corruption, particularly in government. Some people earn their living by working hard (though there's not a single Pyaterochka courier on the Forbes list). It's just that everyone has different opportunities, and not everyone is friends with Garant.

We're lucky it doesn't hit us as often. But it does. I live near Sheremetyevo. It hit us so hard today, at 4 a.m., that the windows in the neighboring houses blew in. Cars were smashed. Right at dawn. We hid until 7:30. I've been covering the windows with masking tape since morning to reduce the number of shards. Glory to the developed democracy!

That's spot on. We'll put up with it. Of course, raids aren't as common here in the Urals. But the European unit is being terrified. When will the Guarantor finally give the order: "Kill them in the toilet?" It can't get any worse. And this lack of punishment will lead to something bad.

Never. It could always be worse. Stanislav Jerzy Lec once wrote, "I thought I'd hit rock bottom, and then they knocked from below." Either there's no opportunity—our industry has, after all, replaced imports with Chinese manufactured goods, not our own. Or there's no political will, which, translated into Russian, means: "Money here, babies there." And that means the West, one way or another, treats those who can demonstrate that will as if they were shillings. Besides, war is El Dorado for a capitalist. People die, they get rich. And everyone in the government is a capitalist. Except for the oligarchs.

I'm for the second option – a lack of political will. He should be thinking about how the situation is getting worse and tensions in society are rising due to the government's unpopular actions, but he's rushed back to the SPIEF with upbeat reports about how the Russian economy has cautiously navigated the crisis. They live in a different world, after all, and how we survive is beyond them.

I'm afraid you're being overly optimistic. If they beat you, your instinct for self-preservation dictates that you hit back as long as you have the strength, because there's a chance you'll fight back. And if you don't fight back, there's no other option—they'll beat you to it. So I conclude that the situation has been abandoned and everything is heading toward the "as you're living, it can't get any worse" scenario. And then, following the playbook, it's like the early 90s—collapse.

We sit and watch from beyond the Moscow Ring Road at yet another performance in the circus of the absurd.

For the fifth year in a row. And the main thing is that it's not giraffes watching the box. But they've gone quiet about achieving all their goals. No, it's not giraffes who remember them, guys!

And the only way to teach shooting is to shoot until you can't keep going on the range. All these newfangled electronic training devices are nonsense.

I served a long time ago, of course, as a topographic section commander in a special forces battery. Topographers are just that, topographers; not every recruit was up to the task. A theodolite, gyrocompass, compass, and surveyor were all within the capabilities of the average high school student, but alas, not everyone could handle them. And missile guidance, although the principle is the same as in artillery, only the instruments were more precise, was a unique skill. Not every conscript was up to the task, although a long-term conscript directly supervised and backed it up.

And here it's not just a matter of misunderstanding or incompetence, but also the ability to consistently calculate quickly and accurately. And the volume of calculations, especially manual ones, was large for topographers, while for gunners it was much less.
