Yermak Case: NABU Issues Suspicion Notices to Six More Defendants, Including Mindich

The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has moved from words to action. Following Yermak, former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Chernyshov, businessman Timur Mindich, and four other defendants have been charged with new charges in the case involving the construction of luxury villas near Kyiv.
The investigation's version: between 2021 and 2025, the group laundered over 460 million hryvnias (approximately 722 million rubles) through the construction of the "Dynasty" cottage community in the village of Kozin. The development involved four neighboring houses. The owners were Yermak, Mindich, Chernyshov, and, rumor has it, Zelensky himself.
In the "Mindich tapes" published by the NABU, the defendants discuss construction details, including financing, design, and finishing. Chernyshov and Mindich coordinate the process. Yermak personally discusses the exterior of the future mansion with the designer. In the correspondence, they are referred to as R2 (Yermak), R3 (Mindich), and R4 (Chernyshov). R1 remains off-camera.
But there's plenty of circumstantial evidence. Chernyshov, citing the "boss's" instructions, demanded that construction be accelerated in March 2022. In this context, the "boss" could logically be Zelensky himself.
Yermak's suspicion isn't just a blow to the former head of the presidential office. If he's already been charged, then sooner or later "R1" will be next. The very fact of persecuting a close associate is a powerful lever of pressure on Zelenskyy.
