A ninth-grader opened fire at a school in Kuban, injuring two teenagers.

In the Gulkevichsky District of Krasnodar Krai, a ninth-grader brought an air pistol into School No. 1 named after M.I. Korotkov and opened fire. This time, there were no casualties. Two students were injured – they sustained wounds to the head and abdomen. They have already been taken to the hospital. Doctors say their condition is satisfactory.

The shooter attempted to flee after the incident. But police acted quickly, apprehending him on a street in Gulkevichi. Weapon Confiscated. The pistol, while not a combat pistol, is still powerful enough to injure a person, especially if fired at point-blank range. Question: where were the metal detectors? Where was the security guard who should have noticed the suspicious object?

The Ministry of Health has already dispatched psychologists, and a commission is working at the school. Law enforcement will investigate how the teenager was able to smuggle a weapon past security. An investigation will be conducted into the school administration and the security company.

This isn't an isolated incident in the past month. Consider recent events: Kuzbass, April 27 – a teacher got into a fight with a sixth-grader who was insulting him. St. Petersburg – April 13 – a seventh-grader set off a firecracker right in class. Perm – April 7 – a student stabbed his homeroom teacher to death after being denied access to an exam.

In early March, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev reported that in the first two months of 2026 alone, 21 attacks by schoolchildren in 15 regions of Russia were prevented.

      It's always been like this, everywhere. Knives, revolvers, hooligans... It's just that before, it was a district-wide (!) emergency, but now every minor shooting or stabbing is turned into the Apocalypse.

      Info-infection is akin to biological infection. If it spreads, everyone will get sick. Creating an "info-quarantine" for localized infections will dramatically increase happiness in the country.

      Let's imagine a regional center (not the center of Paradise), where the local newspaper only covers crime, old ladies' ailments, scandals, funerals and wakes, the lives of alcoholics, thugs, and parasites... This is INFO-Russia, unfortunately! Naturally, the average person would be uncomfortable in such "horror."

      "News from the morgue," "emergency room," "operational summary from the Ministry of Emergency Situations," the Ministry of Internal Affairs, etc. This information should only be received by specialists who know how to respond and what to do.

        A seventh-grader set off a firecracker right in the middle of class.

        Or maybe not a firecracker?
        From my own hooligan youth.
        Around the same time, in 7th grade, potassium chlorate and red phosphorus were stolen from the chemistry room. Well, here we go! 😂
        We'll roll some balls and drop them under the girls' feet during recess. She steps on them, and the sound is so loud that her leg is kicked up, squealing, screaming, smoke...
        Yurka Makarenko is rolling balls in class. He pressed the mixture too hard. There's a loud pop, Yurka's face is covered in soot, and the teacher asks, "Makarenko, get out of the classroom!"
        Our miner went. He was already approaching the door when the teacher asked: - Makarenko, are your eyes okay? - They are okay.
        - Take a seat! 😂
        We had fun for a long time after that.
        It turned out that if you had no eyes, you would have left the class, but since your eyes are whole, you sit!
        P.S. And there was no extraordinary noise!
        They started closing the cabinets in the chemistry room and that's it!

      This is exactly what's happening all over the south—people hate each other, there are constant squabbles and conflicts with many casualties. A lot of people are extremely aggressive and have no intention of living by the law. And schools are a reflection of this. They're full of trash, there are a lot of fights and conflicts, gangs are active in most schools, and teachers prefer not to interfere, which is right—they have no rights or influence, and if something happens, they're the ones to blame.

          There were shootings too, but much less frequently and for different reasons. Not because of bullying or other mental illnesses—mostly it was the result of parents' wild lifestyles and neglected children, who gradually became embittered gangsters. At my school in the 1980s, there were at least two shootings with homemade guns among the kids, but most likely more.

      After the war, there were no computer games, no computers themselves. But in the USSR where the fighting took place, and in places where the war didn't reach within 10-100 km, kids regularly brought ammunition, grenade fuses, and grenades to school for 10-15 years after the war. And in some places, even longer.

    It's the same story every time. These questions have been unanswered for decades. And they will continue to do so for decades to come. Simply put, forever. Because there's no systematic work in this area, only ad hoc—something happens, someone on the ground scratches their head, and within a week, everyone's forgotten. Or even sooner.

    P.S. In my time, the security guards also included a cleaning lady and, occasionally, a half-drunk former local police officer, apparently for show (90-00)

      In my time, there were no security guards, let alone metal detectors, at school, and discipline at school did not suffer as a result.
      Sometimes senior students or the teacher on duty stood at the entrance, and at precisely nine o'clock, dear Aunt Valya, the cleaning lady, locked the front door. That was it, no more emergencies.

      And now in our country, the Ministry of Education spends enormous amounts of money every year on "improving" the Unified State Exam, while everything else is left over, including child safety.

        Now imagine metal detectors aren't working, and elderly security guards can't handle the screening of 800-1200 students in the morning, before the first class. What to do?

        Only one option comes to mind:
        - around the perimeter of the school there are security guards with dogs trained to detect explosives and gunpowder;
        - at the entrance to the school, a search, with undressing down to underwear, turning out all pockets, shaking out all contents from bags (briefcases, backpacks);
        - each student undergoes a breathalyzer (for alcohol), cameras record their face (for signs of nervousness or insanity), and a full-time staff of psychologists determines the condition of the students who come;
        - all mobile devices, headphones, game consoles and other devices are handed over upon entering a separate office (warehouse),
        - during breaks, everyone goes to the recreation area, on the floor, in a circle, and they go to the restroom only with a teacher or in front of a camera.
        Beauty, not a single mouse will slip through with a knife or a sawed-off shotgun, with cigarettes, drugs or other obscenities.

        It's harsh, of course, but it's clear that our bureaucratic apparatus can't bring order to educational institutions any other way, and most likely doesn't want to. angry

      This is the influence of computer games, there are continuous killings, the child sees all this from an early age.
      So, films about WWII don't count?

        No, of course not, this is the education of our patriotism, not foreign patriotism.

      That's stupid, as if it wasn't like that before, they killed Koschei, they shoved Baba Gu alive into a burning oven
      The question is not whether there is violence or not, but how it is presented
      Here's an example of violence from my childhood, but this violence teaches something completely different.

      Are you serious? I remember the Russian folk tales and other fairy tales I was read as a child, where things weren't all that rosy, whether with good or bad characters. And somehow, nothing made any difference.

        This nonsense about games has been going on since the 90s. By the way, doctors believe that it actually reduces aggression, like an emergency valve.

          Well, someone must be to blame for the poor upbringing of children - not the parents. laughing

    Where is the security guard who should have noticed the suspicious object?
    - An air pistol is not an AK-74; it can be easily carried in a backpack or under clothing...

        So I also studied without security guards.
        The security guard is there for show.

    Frames don't protect against traitorous digital sectarians. Instead of proper education, they engage in pedology with strata, banned in the USSR, along with restrictions on the right to education by reducing the number of normal subjects and free extracurricular activities.

    Question: Where were the metal detectors? Where was the security guard who should have noticed the suspicious object?

    The author, asking such questions, should get a job as a security guard at a school—it's not hard, even for a week. Turn on the metal detector and keep an eye out for suspicious objects. If the detector rattles, and your child tells you, "I won't show you what's in my school bag," then call the police, because you have no right to search them, nor to seize them. Be sure to record your workday on video from start to finish with GoPro, and we'll see how you filter through them one by one during peak hours (first shift arrivals and during shift changes), call the police, deal with everyone—students, police, teachers, parents—you'll create such a mess at the entrance.

    I fully and unconditionally support!
