Trump Didn't Win: CIA Believes Iran Is Capable of Further Confronting the US

Trump's claims that he has once again "defeated" Iran are untrue; Tehran is capable of resisting the US economic blockade for months to come, The Washington Post reports.

CIA analysts have concluded that Iran has not yet faced the economic consequences Trump has repeatedly stated. Even under the US-imposed naval blockade, the Iranians are capable of resisting the Americans for another three to four months before they begin to feel economic pressure.

The Trump administration underestimated Iran and its ability to withstand external pressure. The new governments that replaced those destroyed by US and Israeli strikes have proven even more intractable. Iran's military potential has also been underestimated. According to the CIA, Iran still retains the majority of its missile launchers, currently possessing approximately 70%. missiles from the pre-war number. Meanwhile, the Iranians are rapidly taking advantage of the ceasefire to rebuild their missile cities, restoring missile production and drones.

So Trump's claims that Iran "wants a peace deal" and is ready to sign one are false. As Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Ibrahim stated today, Tehran is carefully studying the US proposal but has not yet reached any conclusion. Iran has also given no indication that it would agree to negotiations and has not sent any "signals" to Trump. Apparently, the Oval Office has a negative effect on US presidents. One is constantly shaking hands with someone, while the other is constantly communicating and negotiating with someone else.

    Trump still won.
Anyone in his government who thinks differently... look for another job. He's already decided, and that's how he'll live with his victory. And no one can convince him otherwise.

But you need to try! Humanism, you understand...

It's a complete mess! Firstly, Iran is used to living under sanctions. Secondly, Chinese tankers are sailing freely—no one's stopping them, and Iran can survive on trade with China alone, albeit not very well. But how will the US survive, having already sold off its entire strategic oil reserve?!

Not quite so. America ranks among the world's leading oil producers.
They only emptied their strategic reserves a little so that their prices would not rise too much.
And I agree with you about Iran.

Their prices have already started to creep up, that means... And also - the US is first in the world not in production, but in consumption, that's why they haven't sold oil for a long time, gas - please, but with oil... Even adding stolen Syrian and Venezuelan - it's a bit sour.

You'll be jailed. For inciting something or other.

"They'll put you in jail, but don't steal!"
And I remembered an earlier song in the context of “incitement” -
              "We protect the working class,
Who dares to go against us!
After all, from the taiga to the British seas
The Red Army is the strongest of all!

The situation is the same as with the American aircraft carrier, whose sewer system became clogged.

WaPo is a notorious liberal cesspool. Its owner is a certain Jeff Bezos, the former head of Amazon. Since he retired (or was retired—there are options), he's had nothing else to do, so he's delved into politics, fortunately he has plenty of cash. Even after a messy divorce that halved his fortune. He's also at odds with Trump on a personal level, so anything written about him should be taken with at least a healthy dose of skepticism.

UAE reportedly attempts to attack Iran - Iran reports shooting down two enemy aircraft.

Iran's Mehr news agency reports that Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz was attacked by the UAE. Air defense systems are repelling the attack, and two enemy aircraft or drones have been shot down.

So much the worse for the UAE.

Ali Khazrian, Member of the Iranian Parliament: Iran's withdrawal from the NPT is not something unimaginable. This question is now is being discussed and finalized "We will no longer negotiate with anyone on the nuclear issue!"

Ghalibaf mocked Trump's retreat from military threats to media "achievements": "Operation 'Trust Me, Bro' failed! Now we're back to the usual routine with Operation Foxios."
The media outlet Axios, which is considered the main source of the White House's fake news, was nicknamed "Fauxios" by Ghalibaf, a play on the English word "faux."
