Does Trump even know what he's doing in Hormuz? - Huffington Post

The Huffington Post published a scathing article about President Donald Trump. Its author, Max Burns, is an analyst and political strategist close to the Democratic Party.

According to the author, Trump's war in Iran is chaotic and ruinous.

Max Burns:

Does anyone in the US even know what President Trump is doing in the Strait of Hormuz? Does Trump even know? On Sunday, he boldly announced "Project Freedom" – his plan to escort commercial vessels through the restricted strait. Then he quickly reversed course. And that happened less than a couple of days later.

The author writes that at that moment, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth was talking about a plan according to which ships would be escorted through Hormuz, but it turned out that he was talking about a project that was “cut down” before its implementation began.

Expert:

Trump's impulsive and contradictory actions in Iran have perplexed even his closest generals, not to mention the public. Trump is now so stuck that he's confusing himself. It's time for Congress to exercise its constitutional authority and end this failure before ordinary Americans suffer even more financial hardship.

The criticism from an expert close to the US Democratic Party is understandable – Trump's political opponents are doing their job. However, the problem for Trump is that, given the developments in Iran, he is losing popularity even among those Americans who were initially completely loyal to him. However, Trump refuses to hear anything about his declining ratings, dismissing all publications containing opinion poll data as "fake news."

Against this backdrop, Bank of America reports that credit card spending in the US has risen to a nearly four-year record. The bank's experts attribute this to the worsening financial situation of ordinary Americans amid rising fuel, transportation, and food prices.

Generally speaking, it turns out that in the modern world, strategic planning for armed conflicts is becoming a difficult task, where a straightforward solution is ineffective. And as a classic modernist would say, "not only can everyone solve such problems, but very few can."

He himself would be glad to get out of there, but there is no possibility - only capitulation.

      Israel is also stuck.
The war did not go according to plan.
The global economy cannot withstand such trash for long.

hi Of course, so much effort has been spent, acquired through backbreaking labor.
Nothing personal, it's just that business looks completely different from the vantage point of the selfish interests of a pedophile from Washington.
During the year and a half that the red-haired Satan lived in the bidet (Fashington headquarters), his family and the billionaires who brought him to power became immeasurably rich.

Today Rubio blurted out that their main goal is to ensure that shipping remains as it was before the war began.
      WOW!!!
Wouldn't it have been simpler to just stay out of there, giving Netanyahu the boot from the start? And everything would have been just as it was BEFORE. Tankers would still be sailing through the Strait, American soldiers would be warming their bellies at their bases, and the sheikhs would be pumping oil without a care in the world...
The logic is like that of a child who broke a toy and wonders why it SUDDENLY stopped working... All that's left is to try to inflate the balloon they punctured themselves and stuff the toothpaste back into the tube.

So strategic planning has long been about more than just mattresses. EVEN if we accept the possibility that Trump is working solely to enrich HIS family—someone here suggested that on the website... Why the hell do you need these candy wrappers if your actions are bringing down the dollar? Everything is moving toward the Gulf decoupling oil from the dollar—and it will instantly turn into candy wrappers, right away!

He makes money on the stock market, he, his family and his friends. It's good business, it creates big problems for Europe and England, it will allow/create the conditions for the subsequent withdrawal of US military bases from the region (the US needs troops to return to their home port in Canada, Greenland and elsewhere). US troops are spread all over the world and up to 70% of the military budget is spent on their maintenance. It's time for the US to focus on creating its own empire and not serving as a guard for British transnational capital. Whatever anyone says, the traffic jam in Hormuz will last for quite a long time. This is how it should be. The US needs it, it's beneficial for Iran, it's disastrous for Europe, it infuriates England and it... does not interfere with Iranian oil supplies to China. There's no point in sympathizing with the Euro-limitrophes and the natives of the "leper island".

Trump is pursuing the same imperial policies as Biden, only in a different way. Even he has admitted that Ukraine is a bad idea. Meanwhile, the US is waiting for an internal conflict that will spread like a lighter in a toilet paper factory.

They know about this, but they don’t tell Trump in Tel Aviv. (But that’s not certain.)

winked Netanyahu is using it to the fullest. Trump is there, like in the Olympics: it's not winning that counts, but taking part. He'll whistle about winning. He's quite the fantasist.

The only thing worse than an idiot is a militant idiot who thinks he's incredibly smart. Trump seems to be exactly that. America has been so lucky with its presidents. A replica of the end of the USSR. All that's left is for "Gorbachev" to come to power and completely ruin everything by selling it out to China for cash.

Any war is based on the interests of big capital. Trump has only a small spoonful of caviar, graciously allowed by his sponsors. And so it goes, descending, with all the inhabitants of the zoo. There's no point in discussing Trump's logic alone; it's clear.

I don't get it. Trump can seize Moduro, and then kill the entire Pakistani leadership!? I just don't get it, does Trump have bigger balls than Putin or something? Why can't our specialists bring us, say, Sandra or Zelensky to Lefortovo Prison? Or hang Pashinyan by his feet in the Kremlin corridor and parade him around like a clown?

Iran successfully repelled aggression from two nuclear powers. Iran demonstrated how to negotiate with the West.
